BETRAYAL

Stefan was seating in the chair as he watched Rosie. After she started breathing again they took her to the Salvatore Boarding House. She hasn't woken back up since.

Stefan had to convince both Caroline and Damon to go get changed. They were both bloody mostly Caroline who had Rosie's blood all over her.

Stefan continued to watch Rosie as her eyes moved around like she was remembering something. As he watched her he saw that her eyes started to open slightly.

He got up and went to stand beside her as he held her hand.

"Rosie?" Stefan calls her making Rosie look at him.
"Stefan? What happened?" Rosie asks him making him look at her sadly as he helped her seat up.

"What do you remember?" Stefan asks her as Rosie tried to search her brain for what happened.

"Caroline and I, we were- oh my goodness Caroline! Where is she is she okay?" Rosie questions him as Stefan place a hand on her shoulder trying to calm her down.

"She's fine. She went home to shower and change she'll be back soon," Stefan tells her making Rosie nod at him.

"I died," Rosie mutters as Stefan nods looking at her sadly.

"I saw grams," Rosie tells him making Stefan look at her confused.

"She told me it wasn't my time and since I sacrificed yourself for Caroline that my sacrifice was going to be releasing my powers," Rosie tells Stefan as he hugs her.

"How about I go get you some ice cream?" Stefan asks her making Rosie smile as she nods at him. Stefan kisses her forehead as he leaves.

As Rosie was looking around the room transformed. It looked like her bedroom. She looks around confused before she sees herself walking into her room. Rosie looks even more confused to see Stefan seating on her bed.

"Hey Steffie," Rosie says making Stefan smile at her as he holds her necklace up.

Rosie reaches down and touches her necklace before looking back up at what was going on.

"Made sure to grab it before you left," Stefan tells her making Rosie smile as she goes to grab Stefan pulls it back making Rosie look at him confused.

"I need to tell you something Rosie," Stefan tells her making Rosie nod although confused.

Rosie was trying to figure out what was happening.

"I love you Rosie and I'm sorry it took me so long to realize and I wish we could be together but I don't deserve you. You deserve better," Stefan tells her as Rosie's eyes begin to fill with tears.

Rosie looked heartbroken as she watched everything play out. Tears fell from her eyes as she realized what was happening.

Stefan then leans down and kisses Rosie's lips softly before pulling away.

"I wish you could remember this but you can't," Stefan tells her as he compels her and then disappears leaving Rosie confused.

Rosie looks down at the necklace as tears fall down her face. He compelled. Stefan compelled her to forget he loved her.

Rosie was in her own little world as Stefan came back into the room. He called her name but she didn't answer and he walked up to her.

"Rosie? Hey, what's wrong?" Stefan asks her as he sees the tears in her eyes. Rosie looked up at him with a look he never wanted her to ever look at him with. A look of betrayal.

"You compelled me?" Rosie asks him with a broken voice. Stefan looks at her wide-eyed.

"Rosie I can explain," Stefan tells her as he tries to grab her hand but Rosie takes a step back as tears filled her eyes.

At that moment both Damon and Caroline walk into the room.

"Rosie/Cupcake!" They both say as they speed over to Rosie who was just looking at Stefan.

"I trusted you," Rosie tells him with a small voice as she turns around and starts to walk out of the room.

"What happened?" Damon asks Stefan with a glare.
"She remembers. She remembers what I compelled her to forget," Stefan tells them as Damon glares at him and Caroline runs to find her sister.

"I told you. I told you what would happen if you hurt her Stefan," Damon says in a dark tone as he shakes his head.

Caroline catches up to Rosie and wraps her arms around her shoulders.

"Come on let's go," Caroline tells Rosie making her nod.

"Is Tyler okay?" Rosie asks Caroline making her nod at her with a smile.

"Yeah after you passed out after coming back alive Mason showed up and they went to talk. Jules is in the cellar passed out. All the other wolves are dead," Caroline tells me making me nod at her.

"Are you okay?" Caroline asks me making me nod at her again as I get in the car. I look out the window the whole way home as Caroline holds my hand.

Getting home I head upstairs to get a shower and change. I could feel all the blood on me. My blood on me.

When I was under the water letting it run all over my body and wash all my blood away as I watched it go down the drain. Memories started pouring into my head.

Caroline's pleading, the look on Tyler's face when he saw me, the moment I realized what was going to happen to me, seeing the ones I love fall apart from the other side, seeing grams and her words, but the last thing I couldn't get out of my head was Stefan's compulsion.

I'm not angry that he told me he loved me, I'm angry that he compelled me to forget it. He acted as nothing happened. The lie and the betrayal are what hurt the most.

Getting out of the shower I get dressed into my pj's and went to lay down when my door was knocked on. I sighed as I got up and opened the door.

The second I saw what was on the other side I smiled with tears in my eyes.

"Want to have a sleepover?" Bonnie asks me as she and Caroline stand in front of me with ice cream, pizza, pillows, blankets, and Bridesmaid. I laughed at them as I open the door.

Caroline and Bonnie hug me as tears fall down all of our faces. Once we calmed down we went to lay down on my bed.

Caroline put the movie in as Bonnie cuddled into my side and I started eating my ice cream.

As we watched the movie I kept feeling Caroline's and Bonnie's eyes on me. I sighed as I looked up at them.

"I can't take it anymore! What happened?" Caroline exclaims making Bonnie glare at her.

"Stefan compelled me," I tell them making both look at me wide-eyed.

"What did he compel you for?" Bonnie asks me confused as I look at the TV.

"To forget that he loves me," I tell them making Bonnie and Caroline look at me wide-eyed.

"You know it's not the compulsion that hurts me. It's that he told me and never let me say it back," I tell them as Caroline looks at me sadly.

"So do you love him?" Bonnie asks me as I look forward and then nod slowly. Both Caroline and Bonnie wrap their arms tightly around me.

"We got you, Rosie," Caroline tells me as I nod. We all cuddled each other for a little while before Caroline starts to laugh making both Bonnie and me look at her confused.

"Damon owes me 50 bucks!" Caroline exclaims making me confused.

"For what?" Bonnie asks Caroline looking just as confused as me.

"Because I knew that Stefan would admit he loved you before you would. Damon thought the opposite," Caroline tells us making me look wide-eyed at her.

"You betted on my love life?!" I ask her as she looks at me wide-eyed realizing what she said.

"Um no?" Caroline questions instead of saying making me laugh at her as we all laugh.

"Come on let's continue to watch the movie!" Bonnie tells us making all of us laugh as we get back to Bridesmaids.

Soon both Caroline and Bonnie were asleep but I couldn't sleep. I sighed as I got up being careful not to wake the other two up.

Going downstairs I head towards where mom gets the alcohol and pour a drink before drinking it all in one gulp. As I go for another a voice speaks up making me pause.

"I think you are being too much like me Cupcake," Damon tells me making me smile as I turn around.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him making him walk over to me.

"Making sure you were okay," Damon tells me making me hug his waist.

"I'm okay," I tell him making him look at him as he shakes his head.

"It would be okay if you weren't," Damon tells me making me smile sadly at him.

"Can we just not talk about it?" I ask him making him nod at me.

"Here I thought you would want this," Damon tells me as he hands me a book. I look at him confused as I read the title: Superna Regina.

"The Supernatural Queen?" I question Damon making him nod at me.

"I think she's you cupcake," Damon tells me making me look at him wide-eyed before I look back at the book.

Authors Note: Okay so this is just a filler chapter. I wanted Rosie to remember what happened with Stefan.
