━━━━━ ✧༺✶༻✧ ━━━━━

It has been a few days since Stefan's birthday. Lexi left yesterday after us having a girl's day which was just us getting drunk as we sung Bon Jovi.

As I walked into history class I smiled at Bonnie who looked exhausted. Then the new teacher walks in.

"Good Morning everyone. Alrighty," the new teacher says as he writes his name on the chalkboard. I look at Bonnie with a worried expression.

"Are you okay?" I asked her making her shrug as I grabbed her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze making her calm down slightly.

"Alaric Saltzman. It's a mouthful, I know. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Saltzman is of German origins. My family emigrated here in 1755 to Texas. I, however, was born and raised in Boston. Now the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great-grandfather I will never be able to thank enough. You'll probably want to pronounce "Alaric" but it's "Alaric," okay? So, you can call me Rick. I'm your new history teacher," Mr. Saltzman says making everyone smile as he starts to teach.

After class Elena and Bonnie walks off as I look for Caroline who was agreeing with Matt. I knew why they were I saw them both cuddling and I firmly believe she could do much better.

I then looked to my other side and saw Stefan. I smiled walking over to him.

"Hey, Steffie what are you doing here?" I asked him as I brought him into a hug.

"I just wanted to check on you and Elena. You were still very hungover yesterday," Stefan told me making me shake my head.

"Yeah remember to never try to out-drink a 300-year-old vampire again," I told Stefan making him smile at me before we heard a throat clear. I turned to see Elena.

"I'm going to go," I told Stefan making him smile softly as he hugged me again, and just like every time he does I feel a feeling of electricity and safety but I never question it as I get in my car and drive to the grill.

Getting there I look around before spotting Jermey and Jenna.

"Hey," I tell them as I seat down beside Jermey and smile at Jenna.

"Hey I ordered you a milkshake since you have girl's night tonight," Jenna told me making me smile as I drink my chocolate milkshake.

"I like a man who can dine alone. A quiet strength," Jenna said looking at the bar making me look toward it to see our new history teacher.

"I thought you were still in that whole Logan-depression thing," Jermey sigh as I shake my head with a smile as Jenna smiles at him.

"I've sworn off men forever, but it doesn't mean I can't observe them from a safe distance," Jenna says as I nod at her.

"Yes I agree men are no good," I told Jenna making Jermey look towards me.

"But you Jer," I told him making him nod as Jenna shakes her head at us. Jeremy then looks back at his aunt.

"Well, I can introduce you," Jeremy tells her as Jenna shakes her head but smiles at him.

"Have you picked a topic?" Jenna asked Jermey about his report that Mr.Saltzman is making him due to bring his grades up.

"No, not yet. It's gotta be local and non-internet research, so...," Jermey says as he shrugs his shoulders.

"That's easy! You've got all your dad's stuff," Jenna tells him making me nod as Jermey looks confused.

"What stuff?" Jeremy asked as I turned to him.

"The "How the Gilberts came over on the Mayflower" stuff, all that family lineage from way back. Your dad really loved all that family history stuff. It's all boxed up in the closet," Jenna told him as Alaric approaches our table.

"Mr. Saltzman," Jeremey and I said to him with a smile.

"Jeremy. What's up, man?" Alaric said looking at Jermey before turning to me.

"Rosalie right? Tanner also had a folder for you," Alaric told me making me smile as I shake my head.

"Not even surprised," I told him making him smile.
"Mr. Saltzman This is my aunt, Jenna," Jeremy said with a smile as Alaric shakes her hand.

"Alaric Saltzman. It's nice to meet you," Alaric told her making her smile at him.

"Jeremy was just telling me about his paper. Thanks for giving him another chance," Jenna told her making  Alaric smile at her.

"It was my first day. I wanted to make a good impression," Alaric said as I smiled at him.

"Well, you did. Now I have to go. I'll see you all later," I told them as I hugged Jermey and Jenna bye and smiled at Alaric.

As I was about to leave I turned to see Damon and Stefan at the bar. I smiled going to them.

"Hey," I said as I walked up to them making them both turn to me.

"Rosie."
"Cupcake."

Both brothers said making me smile at them.
"Hey boys I just wanted to say hello before heading for a girl's night," I told them making them smile at me.

"Well thank you for showering us with your presence," Damon said making me roll my eyes at him with a smile.

"Goodbye boys," I told them with a smile hugging them one last time before heading towards the Gilbert house.

Walking inside I don't see my sister or Bonnie.
"Hello!" I yell through the house.

"Elenas room! We are dining a séance," I hear Caroline yelled making me confused before shrugging my shoulders and heading upstairs.

"What are we doing?" I ask Bonnie as I walked into the room and sat down beside her in the circle.

"I don't know," Bonnie told me making me nod but still confused.

"Be quiet and concentrate. Close your eyes. Now take a deep breath. Bonnie. Call to her," Caroline said making Bonnie sigh as we all close our eyes and join hands.

"Emily, you there?" Bonnie said making Caroline look at her with her disappointed mom look.

"Really? "Emily, you there?" That's all you got? Come on," Caroline told her making Bonnie huff.

"Fine, geez. Emily. I call on you. I know you have a message. I'm here to listen," Bonnie says in a more serious manner making the candle immediately flare stronger making all of us jump back.

"Did that just...," Elena started saying before both me and Caroline interrupted her.

"Yeah, it just happened," Caroline said still in shock.
"It's just the air conditioning," Bonnie said trying to convince herself more than anything.

"Ask her to show you a sign. Ask her. Emily, if you're among us, show us another sign," Caroline says as they wait a moment, but nothing happens.

"See? It's not working," Bonnie says as the windows burst open, scaring everyone.

"I can't, I'm done," Bonnie says as she rips the necklace off and throws it on the ground next to the candles, which blow out, scaring her more.

"Get the light. Please, get the light!" Bonnie starts freaking out

"Hold on. I got it," Elena says as she turns on the lit gut switch. Once she does both me and Bonnie look down looking for the necklace.

"You guys, the necklace. It's gone," Bonnie and I say at the same time as we all start staring at the aftermath of their séance, shocked.

"Okay, fun's over, Caroline. You made a point, and I get it. Now give it back," Elena said making me glare at her.

"What? Well, I didn't take it. What? What happened?" Caroline asks as I glare at Elena.

"Why the hell are you blaming my twin, Elena?" I asked her making her glare at me as she ignored my question.

"I don't know. Nothing. Jeremy, are you home?" Elena says as she walks into the hall to check for her brother.

Bonnie and I look towards the bathroom and see the crystal on the floor in the bathroom.

I look at Bonnie confused as she shrugs and goes in to get it.

"Guys..," Bonnie says as the door slams shut as soon as she's inside the room.

"You guys open the door! Help me!" Bonnie yells as she bangs on the door.

"Bonnie! Bonnie!" All three of us yell as we pound on the door as Bonnie screams for help.

"Try the other door. I'll check the hallway," Elena tells Caroline as I continue banging on the door.

"Bonnie! Bonnie! Bonnie! Open the door!" We all yell as the door suddenly up suddenly opens with Bonnie standing with her head in her hands.

"What happened? Are you okay?" I ask Bonnie as I walk up to her.

"I'm fine," Bonnie tells me in a monotone voice making me look at her confused. Something wasn't right.

"Unbelievable. You were totally faking it," Caroline says annoyed as I just continue looking at Bonnie.

"Caroline, come on," Elena says.
"No! You scared the hell out of me," Caroline says

"Bonnie?" I question as I look at her worried.
"I'm fine. Everything's fine," Bonnie says as we
run after Bonnie, who is rushing down the stairs.

"I can't believe I fell for it," Caroline says as she shakes her head.

"Are you okay?" Elena asks Bonnie as I try to finger what that dark but warm feeling is that's around me.

"I must go," Bonnie says as she heads towards the door.

"She's leaving. I'm leaving," Caroline says as she grabs her bag

"You guys can't leave," Elena says I roll my eyes at her.

"I can. I've had enough freaky fake witch stuff for one night," Caroline says as Bonnie starts heading down the stairs.

"Thank you for having me. I'll take it from here," Bonnie says in still a monotone voice.

"Where are you going?" I asked Bonnie as I followed her down the stairs.

"Back to where it all began," Bonnie says as I look at her confused.

"Bonnie! Bonnie! Oh My God! Emily!" Elena says making me confused as Bonnie turns to us.

"I won't let him have it. It must be destroyed," Bonnie tells us or Emily whatever her name is.

"Wait!" I yell as both Elena and I chase her down the stairs. I try to open the door, but Emily has spelled it shut.

"What's happening?" Caroline asks scared as we try to open the door.

"I don't know. The door, it's not...," Elena says as the
door finally opens, and Jeremy walks in. We all scream, and Jeremy is really confused.

"What the hell?" Jeremy asks confused.
"I'm outta here," Caroline says as she leaves making me turn to Elena.

"Call Stefan! I'm going to follow Bonnie," I told her making her nod as she calls Stefan.

_______

Soon enough I arrive at the Church Ruins with Stefan and Elena behind. I turn to see Damon hanging off a tree branch. Stefan and I immediately run to him pulling him off of it.

"It hurts. This is why I feed on people," Damon says making me roll my eyes as Bonnie looks up from drawing something in the dirt.

"Stefan," Bonnie/Emily says making Stefan and I look toward her as Damon is still on the ground.

"Hello, Emily," Stefan says as I leaned down beside Damon.

"These people don't deserve this. They should never have to know such evil," Bonnie/Emily says making both me and Stefan confused.

"What do you mean evil?" Stefan says as I help Damon get up.

"Emily. I swear to God, I'll make you regret this," Damon says making me even more confused.

"I won't let you unleash them into this world," Bonnie/Emily says towards Damon.

"Them?" Stefan and I asked at the same time finally making Bonnie/Emily look towards and the second she does she is wide-eyed and bows her head a little bit making me even more confused.

"What part of the story did you leave out, Damon?" Stefan asked Damon.

"What does it matter?" Damon questions his brother.
"Emily, tell me what you did," Stefan asked her making her stop looking at me and start looking at him.

"To save her, I had to save them," Bonnie/Emily says making me look wide-eyed as I look down. Damon told me about saving Katherine but not how.

"You saved everyone in the church?" Stefan asked her wide-eyed.

"With one, comes all," Bonnie/Emily says making me shake my head.

"I don't care about them. I just want Katherine. I just need to talk to her," Damon says as I look down at him sadly.

"I knew I shouldn't have believed a single word that comes out of your mouth," Stefan says as she looks at Damon betrayed making me look at Stefan.

"Damon, you can't do this," Stefan tells his brother.

"Why not? I need to talk to her. I need to know why," Damon tells his brother making Stefan shake his head.

"27 vampires, Damon. They were vampires. You can't just bring them back," Stefan tells his brother sternly.

"I need to talk to her! I need to know why Stefan!" Damon yells Stefan sternly making me look down.

"Things are different now," Bonnie/Emily says as Damon shakes his head.

"Don't do this," Damon begs her as Bonnie/Emily shakes her head.

"I can't free them. I won't," Bonnie/Emily says as she starts chanting.

"Incendia!" Bonnie/Emily yells as the pentagram Emily carved into the dirt around her is set ablaze, and flames create a wall between Emily/Bonnie and us.

"Bonnie!" I yell as Bonnie/Emily throws the necklace into the air, and it explodes above them. Once the spell is complete and the crystal is destroyed, Emily departs from Bonnie's body. Bonnie finally reawakens, and looks around in horror, having no idea what had just occurred.

Damon is furious, and he tries to speed to Bonnie to feed off her, but I place my hand on his chest stopping him as I bring him into a hug, and Elena and Stefan run over to Bonnie.

"I got you, Damon. I got you," I told him making him hug me tighter.

"I need to know why. Why didn't she love me?" Damon questions me in a broken voice making me hold him tighter.

"I don't know Damon, but I do. I love you and I will never leave you. I promise," I told him holding my pinky out for him making him laugh slightly as he connects his pinky with mine.

"Come on let's go drink our feelings," I tell him making him nod as we head towards the boarding house.

Getting to the house Damon starts drinking while I just eat ice cream. Soon enough Stefan comes inside and looks between us before looking at me.

"Can we talk?" He questions me making me nod as I walk over to him.

"I'm leaving," he told me making me freeze as I look towards him with a heartbroken expression.

"What? Stefan why?" I asked him confused as he shakes his head.

"I need to get out of this town," Stefan told me as I shake my head at him with tears in my eyes.

"Please Stefan. Don't go," I beg him making him look down at me sadly.

"I'm sorry Rosie," he told me as I dive into his arms hugging him tightly.

"I understand but call and text please," I told him as tears fell from my eyes.

"I will," he told me as we held each other tightly not wanting to let go.

When we pulled away both of us had tears in our eyes.

"We are best friends no matter where we are," I told him making him nod at me as he wipes my tears away.

"Be happy Steffie wherever you go," I told him as I leaned up and kiss his cheek.

"You too Rosie," he told me as he leaned down and kissed my forehead softly.

"I'll see you later Stefan," I told him not wanting to say goodbye to him.

"Until next time," he told me as I smiled sadly at him before walking out the door.
