Vikrant's POV

We arrived at the Sharma house early this morning. We will be leaving for Lonavla after having breakfast here.

As the engagement date is arriving closer my anxiety and excitement are going out of control. Specially after yesterday. Arushi addressed me as 'MY MAN' though she mumbled it under her voice I heard it. Even in my sleep those words in her slender voice were echoing in my mind. She is going to be the death of me.

All of us settled down in the cars. It was just few first circle relatives and friends who were attending the engagement as I did not want a grand party.

Once we were in the car Arushi wanted to drive but her 4year old niece was not ready to get off her lap. Reluctantly she gave up on the plan of driving and sat on the passenger seat beside me.

Arushi and Sayesha's bond was so cute. They kept playing with each other all the way until Sayesha fell asleep.

I was staring at Arushi more than looking ahead on the road. Arushi could sense my stare and her cheeks were turning red. I like it when she is blushing because of me. Yesterday even at the mall she blushed when I addressed her as 'Mrs. Arushi Vikrant Shergill'.

"Jiju atleast look at the road once in a while....Di wont run away anywhere you can stare at her later on" Nidhi said giggling from the back seat while Naina burst into laughter making me also blush along with Arushi.

But I wonder why Arushi's friend is so silent. She hardly gave a smile. Is she really so silent or is she feeling awkward because there are 2 new people around?

It has been a while since we have started off and in the past few minutes Arushi has been very restless. She kept on drinking water every few minutes. I wonder what's wrong with her.

After a while she suddenly asked me to stop by when we were crossing a restaurant on the highway. Maybe she wanted to buy some snacks or stuff.

But as soon as I stopped she got down and placed Sayesha on the seat and ran in. I stared blanking at her retreating figure. Is she not well? O freak.

I stepped out of the car hurriedly and was about to go behind her when Nidhi stopped me.

"Jiju its ok.... Di has travel sickness Mahi di has gone with her. She'll be fine Don't worry."

After a few minutes they were back.

"Are you alright?" I asked cupping her face.

"Ya I am fine dont worry." she replied with a weak smile.

It was almost 2pm when we finally reached our farmhouse. The workers at the farmhouse had cleaned it and prepared the lunch for us.

All of us went in our rooms to freshen up and come back for lunch.

When all of us were at the dinning area for lunch Nidhi told that Arushi has fallen asleep maybe because she was too tired. Why wouldn't she be...she has been pucking all the way and refused to eat anything. I just hope she gets fine after taking some rest.

After lunch everyone decided to rest for the evening.

I lay on the bed with a snoring Rahul beside me. Such a lazy ass he is. Its already 5pm I wonder if Arushi has eaten something. I thought of checking up on her. I was going towards her room when I saw Nidhi taking a plate of food towards Arushi's room.

"Nidhi stop." I said audible enough for her to hear.

"Are you taking this for Arushi?"

She just nodded.

"I'll take it please." She smiled and handed the plate to me.

When I was walking towards her room Nidhi stopped me again.

"Mahi di is in her room...send her out before you both start your romance session" This girl never leaves a chance to tease me.

I knocked the door and Arushi opened it.

"Vikrant...you? I had asked Nidhi to bring the lunch. Why did she send it with you. Lazy girl...How can sh...." I shut her mouth with my hand.

"Oh God how much do you speak...take a breath or you will faint." She stared at me with her eyes wide open.

"Nidhi was only bringing the lunch I asked her to give it to me. Come in have something." I held her hand and dragged her to the bed.

"I'll be back in a moment." Mahima said and walked out. Sensible girl I must say.

" Are you fine now?" I asked her as soon as Mahima was out.

"Absolutely fine" she smiled.

"Why dont you take some medicine before you start travelling?"

"No medicine helps me....Only pickles help me suppress the sickness but I forgot to take it today." she said with a puppy face.

"How can you be so careless.... atleast you could have told me on the way we would have buyed it somewhere....you better take care of yourself from now on....Have some food now." I said taking a bite close to her.

"Vikrant I will have it by myself dont worry." she said as I took the second bite towards her.

"You have any problem if I am feeding you? "

"No"

"Then eat silently."

Arushi's POV

When I opened the door Vikrant stood there with a plate of food. He said that he only told Nidhi that he would take it.

He scolded me for not carrying pickles. He looked so cute when he faked anger I felt like laughing but I supressed it. He started feeding the lunch to me.

When I said I will eat by myself he asked if I had a problem with him feeding me. Why would I have any problem. I love all these small gestures he makes. It makes me feel special.

After dinner all of us retired to bed.  I was about to sleep when a notification popped up on my phone.

"If its ok can you be ready at 5.30 in the morning? I want to take you somewhere." the message read...obviously it was Vikrant.

"Where?" I replied

"Its a suprise...just tell if you are ok with it?"

"Ok I'll be ready." I replied back.

I wonder what suprise he has now.

Its freezing cold. I dont feel like getting out of my blanket. But its already 5.15 I need to be up now. The suprise better be good Mr.Shergill or I'll kill you for making me wake up in this frozen weather.

I got ready took a shawl and came out to find Vikrant already waiting in the living room.

"Lets go." he said as I reached him.

I thought we would go by car but instead he held my hand and started walking. It was still dark outside but Vikrant din't need any light to walk this path. It seemed like he knew every stone that comes on this path.

We walked for around 15minutes. The sun had started raising a little.

"Close your eyes....We will reach in a minute."

I closed my eyes without any question. I trust him....he wont let me fall.

"Open now" he said after a few minutes.

And what lay infront of me was marvelous. I was tongue tied by looking at this view. It was a tulip garden on the slope of a mountain and the sun was raising behind a mountain with all the rays falling on the tulips making them glow like never before.

"You liked it." he whispered in my ear hugging me from behind.

I flinched for a second because of his sudden touch. But it felt so good to be in his embrace. I felt protected....If this embrace would have been the surprise I would love to wake up to it everyday.

"Hmm...I loved it." is all I could speak because I wanted to enjoy the feeling of being in his embrace.

I know he is making me fall for him. But is it too early for this? Will he remain the same even in future? Or change like everyone does?
