Vikrant's POV

It's a lazy Saturday morning where I hardly want to get out of my bed but I need to be up now. Its the day when I am going to meet Arushi and the Sharma family.

Yesterday night when I came to the Shergill Mansion Dadu showed me Arushi's picture and damn....she was really pretty. Dadu told me that she is a doctor to be precised a well settled dermatologist. I must say Dadu has a great choice.

We were suppose to reach the Sharma house by afternoon for lunch. It almost Noon now and I better get ready soon because its a long drive from Malabar Hills to Andheri.

I chose to wear a simple white T-shirt with a casual black blazer paired with Denims.

We reached the Sharma house almost on time. It was a independent bunglow with a huge lawn. I dont get this idea of extra large houses for small families because as much as Dadu has told me there are only 4 people living in this big mansion just like only 4 people live in our big mansion.

We were greated in by Rajat uncle and Sangeeta aunty whom I have met very long ago almost 10-12 years back the lane. They are sweet people. Once we entered the living room I was so spell bound by the contemporary interiors. They were just so amazing. So much better than those back in the Shergill mansion.

Both the families very drowned in deep conversation with me answering a few questions that were asked by Rajat Uncle.

"The Interiors of your house are really very beautiful uncle....very subtle." I had said in between the conversation to which I got the most unexpected reply from uncle.

"Thank you beta...but Arushi deserves this compliment because its all her efforts and thoughts that are depicted all over this house."

This girl is surely something different. Something that sounds unreal but she proves it to be real...'BEAUTY WITH BRAINS'.

Its almost time for lunch when Dadu asked about Arushi.

"Arushi had some emergency at the hospital this morning...she is on the way back home She will be here anytime....lets have lunch until then...Its getting late." Sangeeta aunty answered Dadu's question.

I must say 'A Very Determined Doctor' indeed.

We were midway through our lunch when Nidhi informed that Arushi was back and she would join us in a few minutes. And I just cant wait to see her.

In another 10 minutes Arushi joined us in the dining area. She was such a beauty. In a simple dress with negligible makeup she looked like the epitome of beauty. Her dark brown hair flowing down her slender shoulder.

Damn....I just couldn't stop staring at her.

She apologized for making us wait...but I wanted to tell her...'She was worth all the wait'.

We moved back to the living area after finishing our lunch. And everyone were back to their chit chat session but I still couldn't take my eyes off from Arushi.

I felt her staring at me for a while and then taking small glances once in a while.

Sangeeta aunty asked Arushi to take me out to the lawn and talk to eachother.

We were seated on the lawn chairs in awkward silence with me staring at her. She was being very conscious about herself and it was very much evident.

"Will you please stop staring at me?" finally the silence was broken. The slight irritation in her tone couldn't stop me from giggling.

"What makes you giggle now? Am I looking like an alien or joker to u?"

"No not at all... Its just that... "

"Sorry to disturb you guys....But Di there's a call from hospital...I guess its urgent" Nidhi interrupted us.

So great we had just begun to speak when this call dropped in as an intruder.

Arushi took the call and went to a far corner. While Nidhi gave me a small smile and walked in.

"I am sorry It was some emergency. I had to take the call." Arushi said once she came back after almost 5 minutes.

"That's ok...Anyways how was your day?"

Just when I had asked Naina walked in...Damn you Naina.

"Bhai its getting late Mom said we must be leaving now."

What...so early we havn't even properly talked for 10minutes.

" We are coming in a while you go. "

And as soon as she went

"I guess we must be going in then" Arushi said.

Din't she want to talk to me even for a few minutes...Just so great

"Ya sure" and we just went back in.

Arushi's POV

Mumma is gonna kill me today. She asked me...infact warned me to be back homr before 1 and its already 1.30 when I am leaving the hospital. It was a very urgent case or I wouldn't have to request mumma so much and leave from home today when the Shergill's were visiting home to see me.

I am driving back home as fast as I can but this Mumbai traffic can never do any good to me.

Its almost half past 2 when I finally reached home. I was welcomed by the panicking Nidhi who was pacing around the entrance as though she has been waiting for me since eternity.

"Di where have you been...The Shergill's are already here since an hour. Why din't you even receive the calls. I have been calling you since such a long time. Mom is seriously so pissed off."

Shit...In a hurry I left my phone in my cabin. Damn this day....such a mess.

"Calm down Nidhi...I'll handle everything. Are they in the living room?"

"No they have started their lunch."

"Ok great you just go and tell them I'll be joining them in a few minutes. I'll freshen up and come soon."

Saying this I just went in as fast as I could even without waiting for my sister to reply.

I just washed my face. Wore a long mehendi green anarkali suite did my hair and applied some kajal and tinted lipbalm and went down. There was no time for a detailed makeup look.

I reached the dining area where I found the Shergill family. I greated all of them and apologized for making them wait for so long.

Once the lunch was done all of the Sharma's and Shergill's were seated in the Living thats when my eyes landed on Vikrant. The man who was here with a proposal to marry me.

He had a well built physique with captivating dark brown orbs and jet black hair. His T-shirt was a perfect fit which was perfectly stuck to his abs.

'Arushi are you checking him out?' my mind snapped at me. I am definitely not checking him out.

I came back to the world when Priya aunty started questioning me about my career and choices. But with every answer I gave I felt so much conscious about myself as two eyes were continuously staring at me It can rather be called ogling because Vikrant wasn't even blinking his eyes. Is he some sort of an insane man?

After a while mumma asked me to take Vikrant to the lawn. I thought atleast now he will stop gawking at me but no he is still staring....Aarrrggghhhh do I look wiered or something is wrong with my dress.

I tried figuring out but everything seems alright....Then why the hell is he staring like this.

After a long silence i finally gained some courage and snapped at him for staring like a stupid man and he started giggling....Just great. Such An Idiot He Is.

Nidhi walked in from nowhere saying that there was a call from hospital. I excused myself to take the call.

It took me a little longer in completing the call. I came back and apologised to Vikrant. It was suppose to be our time to know eachother and we have hardly talked when his sister Naina came and told that Priya aunty was calling for them to leave. So we went back.

The Shergill's left after sometime and I went in my room to take some rest. It was hell of a day.

Later at night mumma came to me asking about what I had decided for the marriage.

I could hardly come to a conclusion because Me and Vikrant din't speak anything that would help me know him. The little irritating behaviour of his was annoying but it was cute.

I said mumma that If she and dad were happy with it then I had no problem. The happiness on mumma's face was something that I had never seen.

I am waiting to hear what Vikrant has thought about this alliance. His family is really so sweet I would be so happy to have such a cute family.
