This chapter is the continuation of past. I hope you guys will like it.

Vikrant's POV(past)

"Vikrant we must leave for the function in an hour and you havn't come back yet...When are you coming?" mom almost screamed on call.

I had come to the dance studio for a final rehearsal before I performed I was very nervous. It was literally like I would get a panic attack.

"I am coming in 10min mom dont worry...See you soon" I said and ended the call.

"You'll rock it bro dont worry" Rahul said trying to reduce my nervousness.

"Hopefully...see you at the venue I'll leave now before mom kills me"

I reached home and as expected mom and naina started yelling at me for being so late. I couldn't help I wanted the performance to be perfect so I had to rehearse one last time atleast.

I hurriedly took a shower and got dressed for the sangeet.

As we reached the banquet hall we were welcomed by Sharma uncle and aunty which meant that Arushi was already here.

As I walked in I found Arushi standing with Nidhi and Mahima. She looked drop dead gorgeous in her blue gown.

Even before I could walk towards her Naina literally ran towards her and hugged her as though she would choke her to death. I love the way Arushi has bonded so well with my family in such a short span of time.

I walked towards her with my eyes not leaving her eyes even for a second. Her eyes questioned me as though asking me how she looked I just blinked in affirmation and she turned all pink. All of this din't go unnoticed by Naina and Nidhi.

"A little over 24hours guys you'll get the official license to romance even infront of everyone. You will not need this eye to eye thing. So just control" Naina said as I reached them.

Arushi was a complete tomato by now and I was no less. The three girls stood their laughing their asses off.

The function began in full fledge. Everyone were enjoying and giving their performances. As the time was passing my hands started sweating a lot because of tension.

As it was almost time for my performance I excused myself from Arushi and went backstage.

"All set bro....just kill it" Rahul said and went on the stage to announce my performance. I just want to see Arushi's reaction when she see's me on stage. Rahul made the announcement and it was time to go.

I was on stage dancing off my steps but my eyes wouldn't leave Arushi. She was jumping and squealing like a child. All my efforts were paid off seeing her all happy and smiling.

When the performance ended I could see how shocked, happy and surprised she was. I couldn't wait to get back to her. I went to the green room to freshen up a little because I was all sweaty.

"Nice performance Vikrant but I wish it was for me" I saw Natasha seated on the sofa when I walked out of the washroom.

"It will never be for you" I said completely ignoring her presence.

"O really but I will make sure you will be mine if not for the performance." she said laughing like a witch.

"I will never be yours....Arushi is my life and my heart belongs to her"

"But what if your life comes to an end?? Then you can be mine right??" she said with an evil smirk plastered on her face. I could sense her wicked intentions behind that smirk.

"What do you mean? Dare you even lay your eyes on Arushi....I wouldn't hesitate to kill you." my blood was boiling in anger.

"O really then first try to save her then think of killing me." she almost screamed and walked out. I need to be with Arushi. Natasha can stoop down to any extent. I need to protect my girl.

I hurriedly walked out to the hall searching for Arushi. I saw Natasha standing at a corner watching the chandelier and smirking at it. And the very next second the chandelier was descending towards the floor that's when I saw Arushi standing beneath it. For a second I felt like my heartbeat had stopped I started running like a maniac screaming out to her but maybe because of the loud music she couldn't hear me.

I ran as fast as I could and pushed her off from the spot she fell on the floor and because of the speed I too fell on her. The chandelier fell down and glass pieces were shattered all around. I raised myself from the ground to check on Arushi. Her eyes were tightly closed fear was evident on her face. Did she hurt herself somewhere. Panic raised in me.

"Arushi....Arushi are you fine?" I said patting on her cheeks. She slowly opened her eyes and nodded to me. I just hugged her as tight as I could without bothering about the crowd standing around us.

"I am fine Vikrant don't worry" she said bringing me out of my trance.

Everyone decided to call it a night and started leaving after having dinner. Being a women of religion mom was being very scared after what had happened. But Dad and Dadu somehow tried to calm her. Making sure that Arushi and her family left safely from the venue I decided to go back home and knock some brains into Natasha.

When I was about to leave I received a message from Natasha.

'You saved her today but not she won't be lucky every time. If you will not be mine then I will not let anyone to be yours. And don't try to give me threats of killing me or informing the police....Even if you do so I will make sure your Arushi dies before anything happens to me. Be ready to face what comes ahead.'

As I read the message I lost all my senses my hands felt cold my legs couldn't move. After all that has happened in the past I can't afford to loose another person from my life. I should have known it I can only hurt the people around me. I should have never agreed to this marriage but what should I do now? I need to protect my Arushi at any cost I cannot loose her....No never.

With trembling hands I dialed Arushi's number to make sure she has reached home safely. Thankfully she was safe.

I cannot let Natasha do what she wants to. I need to talk to her.

'Can you meet me now?' I messaged her and as expected she replied within a few minutes.

'Sure.....Near XYZ park in 10min.' It was already 12.30 at night so It did not take me long to reach the place.

In a few minutes Natasha was here. I did not want to create a scene on road in the middle of the night so I opened the door of the car letting her in.

"Couldn't wait for morning? So desperate is it?" she said as soon as she entered.

"Look Natasha let's not beat around the bushes...Why do you want to hurt Arushi...What do you want?" I said because I couldn't control my anger as well as my fear.

"Just for you I am repeating it again....I want you and I cannot have you unless this obstacle named Arushi is not out of my way....keeping in mind that you slapped me because of her yesterday I realised that the only way to get you in my life is too kill that bitch."

"Dare you slap me" she said holding my hand as I was about to slap her for the way she addressed Arushi.

"It wouldn't take me a few minutes to kill her....so better think before you act." she said in a warning tone.

'Vikrant just calm down....you need to be patient this psychic woman can go to any extent.' I said to myself calming myself a little.

"What do you want me to do?"

"Call off the wedding" she said as though it was a random party and could be called off.

"Its not a party to call it off so easily....Its a wedding for god sake" I said trying to keep myself as calm as I could.

"I dont know how you do it either call off the wedding or Arushi dies right before your eyes. The choice is yours."

This girl is getting on my nerves now. Think something Vikrant you need to think beyond her wicked mind.

" Listen Natasha I am ready to be with you but I can't call off this marriage....My business will be at stake its about the reputation of the Shergill's....I'll face huge loss and then I'll get busy with work then I can't even spend time with you. Let's do one thing I will marry Arushi then once we shift to my apartment I will introduce you to be my girlfriend then after a few months I'll divorce her and be with you. What say?"

"Ok fine but you need to tell her as early as possible if you dont.....then remember I would not mind hurting your family as well." she said and got down the car and disappeared.

You need to trap such bitches in their own traps. Tomorrow after the wedding I'll tell everything to Arushi and ask her to act along until I dont get this bitch out of our life. I hope she will understand me.
