Chapter 2: Rescuing the Twins and Piccolo's Training
"Like I said Kakarot, if you want your children brought back alive, you'll bring me 100 dead humans by this time tomorrow," Raditz ordered. "If not then your children will pay with their lives."
Both Gohan and Goha were crying for help but no one was coming to their rescue.
"Using kids as a shield," Krillin growled. "You're no warrior."
"The decision is still his," Raditz said. That's when he Raditz rose into the air with the crying children. "And don't make the foolish thought that you can defeat me Kakarot."
"Daddy!" the twins screamed as Raditz flew away with them.
"Gohan, Goha!" Goku yelled as his children disappeared with Raditz.

When Raditz arrived at the spot where his pod had crash landed, he placed the children inside and then begin to look for food. The twins cried.
"Maybe we can get out," Goha suggested. "Gohan, come and help me try to open this thing."
At first, Gohan was hesitant but then he joined his younger twin and tried to open the pod. Still, the door would not budge. After several minutes, the twins gave up on opening the door and went back to crying. "D-Daddy is coming to save us right?" Goha asked Gohan.
"I-I-I think so." Gohan answered.
Soon the twins heard Raditz talking to someone. An unfamiliar voice was heard along with the voice of their Father. "Daddy we're in here!" Gohan cried, hoping that would get Goku's attention.
"Please come save us Daddy!" Goha sobbed.
"Don't worry you two," Goku told them. "Daddy will save you."
The twins sort-of felt relieved when they heard that and listened in on the fighting going on outside. There were grunts and groans and shouts too. It sounded like a fight was going on. Then there were screams of pain, and they were coming from Goku.
"Gohan, I think Daddy's in trouble," Goha told Gohan. She looked over her shoulder and saw Gohan crouched on the ground. "G-Gohan?"
Suddenly, Gohan jumped out of the pod- much to his sister's surprise- and out of the hole with great force. What just happened? Goha thought as she began to climb out of the hole.
As she did, Goha saw Goku fall to the ground from the attack that Piccolo had used. Goha had a look of shock on her face as Goku fell to the ground with a big hole on his body. Soon she got over the shock and started running towards Goku. "Daddy!" she screamed as she ran towards him.
Goku turned his head painfully and looked at his daughter. He gave her a weak smile as she got on her knees and sat right next to him with tears rushing down her face. "Y-Your save, Goha." Goku struggled to say.
"B-But...your hurt Daddy." Goha sobbed.
Goku tried his best to hide his pain but it still showed. "I'll...be fine Goha." Goku tried to reassure Goha.
Goha sniffled as Goku placed a hand to her cheek. Goku hadn't realized how beautiful his daughter was until then. He was going to miss her, his son, other daughter and his wife.
That's when Bulma, Roshi and Krillin arrived. "What happened here?" Roshi asked.
Piccolo then began explaining everything that had happened. Bulma went over to Gohan, who was unconscious. "Goku, can you hear me?" Krillin asked as he went to his best friend's side.
"I think Gohan will be okay," Bulma said as she held the little boy. "He's just been knocked unconscious."
Goku laughed a stifled laugh. "Good....I'm glad, that Chi-Chi won't be upset," Goku stuttered to say. "Krillin....please take care....of my kids....while I'm gone."
"Don't worry Goku, I won't let anything happen to them," Krillin promised. "But it's not going to come to that. You'll be fine."
"Daddy?" Goha asked as she looked at Goku. She knew that something was horribly wrong.
Goku looked at her with his same weak smile and tried to wipe the tears from her eyes. "It'll...be okay Goha," Goku said. "But...I need you to be....strong for me...while I'm gone....Can you, promise me that?"
Goha nodded and held Goku's hand tightly. She didn't want to lose her Father. Goku then relaxed his head on the ground and closed his eyes before letting out his last breathe. "Goku?" Krillin asked. There was no response. "Goku!"
Krillin tried to wake Goku up but it was too late. Goha began sobbing into Goku's limp hand. "Daddy," she sobbed. "please don't go."
That's when Goku's body suddenly disappeared. "Where'd he go?" Master Roshi asked.
"I sense, Kami's hand in this." Piccolo said with a smirk.
"But why would he need Goku's body?" Krillin asked.
Goha looked at Krillin as she wiped the tears from her eyes. She had to be strong, like she promised to be. Goha got off of the ground and walked over to Krillin and tugged on his arm. "Mister?" Goha asked, getting Krillin's attention. "How do you plan to bring Daddy back?"
"We're going to collect all the dragon balls and then wish him back, okay?" Krillin explained.
Goha nodded.
"Say Piccolo, what do you plan to do-" Roshi began but stopped when he saw that Piccolo was regenerating his arm.
"T-That was....creepy." Goha stuttered, shaking with fear.
"Now then, I'll be taking Goku's son with me," Piccolo told them.
"What? Why?" Krillin asked.
"That boy has great power that we will need against the Saiyans in one year. I'm the only one who can bring out that power." Piccolo said. That's when he used this strange trick to levitate the unconscious Gohan over to him. "You'll have him back in one year."
Before he flew off though, Goha grabbed Piccolo by his cape. Piccolo turned and looked at Goha with a confused look. "Look, I want to come too." Goha blurted out. "I want to train too so I can fight the Saiyans when Daddy comes back."
Piccolo's smirk soon returned. "Fine then," he said as he grabbed Goha from off of the ground. "But don't expect me to go easy on you."
That's when Piccolo flew away with Gohan and Goha in his possession.

Later that day, Krillin made his way over to Chi-Chi's- trying to figure out how to tell her that Goku was dead. "Let see; I'm sorry Chi-Chi, but Goku's dead," Krillin practiced. "No, that doesn't sound right."
At that moment, Chi-Chi opened the door. "Krillin, what're you doing here?" she asked.
Krillin sort-of freaked out and tried to explain to her the situation but he was tongue-tied. Chi-Chi then invited Krillin inside to eat some food. While Chi-Chi was in the kitchen, Krillin noticed little Chinku crawling towards him. This must be Goku's other kid, He thought to himself. It's strange though that she doesn't have a tail.
Chinku crawled right towards Krillin and started speaking baby nonsense towards him. "She probably wants you to pick her up Krillin." Chi-Chi told him.
Krillin hesitantly picked Chinku off of the ground and placed her in his lap. She giggled as looked at Krillin. "What's so funny?" Krillin asked the little 1-year old.
That's when Chinku grabbed Krillin by the ear with a lot of force. "Oww, let go! Let go!" Krillin said with pain as the little baby continued to giggle uncontrollably. For a little kid, you sure are strong.
Meanwhile, far away from Chi-Chi's home, Piccolo landed in a area where there was no one for hundreds of miles. He threw Goha to the ground and then looked at Gohan. "Time to wake-up brat." Piccolo told the sleeping Gohan.
When Gohan didn't wake-up, Piccolo threw him into the water. A moment later, Gohan popped up, coughing out water. "It's time for your training to begin." Piccolo said.
Gohan turned and as soon as he saw Piccolo, he screamed. "Daddy, where are you?! Help!" Gohan yelled.
Piccolo became annoyed and then grabbed Gohan from out of the water and threw him to the ground. Goha went to Gohan's side and stood there with her crying brother. "Stop your crying right now!" Piccolo ordered and instantly, Gohan stopped crying.
"Now listen boy, your Father is dead," Gohan looked like he was going to cry again when Goha shook his arm. "His passing isn't the problem. The problem is that two warriors, stronger than the one that kidnapped you, is coming to Earth in a year. Goku will be brought back to life by then but even if he and I work together we won't be strong enough to beat them. That's where you and the girl come in."
"What? But I'm not strong, I can't fight." Gohan wined.
Piccolo smirked. "I guess I'll have to show you then." He then picked Gohan up from the ground.
"Put him down!" Goha yelled as she hit Piccolo's leg.
The Namekian ignored the little girl and threw Gohan toward a large mountain.
"Gohan no!" Goha covered her eyes so she wouldn't see Gohan get flattened like a pancake.
Suddenly, Gohan became enraged and his power soon showed. He shot a huge energy beam at the mountain and when the dust settled, the mountain was gone and a huge path was formed by the blast.
"D-Did I do that?" Gohan asked.
"I-I think so." Goha answered as she went to Gohan's side.
"Now that you've seen what you can do, it's time to begin," Piccolo said. "Take off your surcoats."
Both children did as he said but Gohan was still upset. "Fine, but when Daddy comes back, I want him to train me." Gohan wined.
"Too bad. Goku may be strong but he's no instructor. Just look at the way he raised you two."
In the afterlife, Goku sneezed as he continued to run on the million mile snake way towards King Kai's place for training.
The training for the fight with the Saiyans is about to begin, next time. Please comment on the story below.
