Jump. Swipe. Kill.
Birchwisp leaped, clawing the gray tom.
The tom yowled in pain.
His mentor, Dawnpoppy, grinned.
"Good job, Birchwisp." She meowed.
Birchwisp dipped his head to his opponent, Grayfire.
The gray tom-cat nodded and padded to the medicine den.
The pretty gold-and-white she-cat smirked.
"Your training isn't done yet, Birchie."
Dawnpoppy hissed in his ear.
"Whatever it takes to be a warrior here, I will do it." Birchwisp repiled.
Dawnpoppy twitched her tail and a small white she-cat came.
"This is Snowdust." Dawnpoppy meowed, "The oldest cat here."
"Fight her."
"Fight her?" Birchwisp echoed, "Y-yeah sure."
The snowy she-cat growled.
"Let's see what you can do, kittypet."
This enraged Birchwisp.
No cat called him a kittypet.
He leaped, claws unsheathed.
Snowdust stood her ground.
Grinning in satisfaction, he prepare to strike.
As he neared her small frame, Snowdust moved, causing Birchwisp to crash into the ground.
"Tsk tsk, kittypet. She meowed.
Unsheathing her claws, she held one on his neck to keep him down and sliced the other through his back.
Birchwisp yowled in pain and threw her off.
The she-cat flew across the clearing.
He ran over and clawed her, weakening the white cat.
"Done!" Dawnpoppy called.
Snowdust's wounds disappeared.
Birchwisp stalked off the the medicine den.
"Oh." Jayshine flinched when she saw the blood on his back.
"Snowdust." Birchwisp grumbled.
Jayshine nodded, fixing him up.
Grayfire was no longer here.
"Did he wake?" Birchwisp wondered.
"Hm? Oh, yeah." Jayshine meowed, her voice muffled with bloody herbs and leaves.

Cherrykit purred. Her ginger-and-black tail waving. The tortoiseshell-and-red tom smiled, as Cherrykit bounded over to him.
"Hi Peachpaw!" Cherrykit mewed.
"Greetings, Cherrykit." Peachpaw repiled, a spark in his golden eyes.
Other cats looked at Cherrykit like she was crazy, but the little ginger she-kit didn't notice.
She followed Peachpaw into the brambles.
"We've been friends for two moons and you claimed that you were 10 moons,"
Cherrykit stated, "and yet, you're not a warrior. Why is that?" She asked, curiosity in her eyes.
Peachpaw looked away, refusing to meet her gaze.
"And," Cherrykit piped up, "you haven't grown or looked older or something."
Peachpaw sighed.
"I should trust you..." He murmured, "I am a FlightClan cat."
"Wh-what?" Cherrykit's eyes widened.
"Tell me," Peachpaw whispered, "What other cats you see that no cat notices."
Cherrykit recalled all the weird cats.
"Well there's Milkmask, Spottedkit, Gingerdoe, and you."
She whispered back.
"You all have a spark in your eyes." She murmured.
Peachpaw looked up.
"You mustn't tell a soul, swear on the sun and sky." Peachpaw warned.
"I swear that I won't tell a soul. May the sun as skies witness this." She stated.
"Good." Peachpaw smiled.
"Now let's play."
