A/N I know this chapter is really short, but I had to split up the last chapter so it wouldn't be too long
Minhyuk Park:
I should probably tell them. I glanced at Steph and Santiago nervously. We had just settled down after getting some distance from the camp. You can't hide it forever. Plus you can just part ways here if it all goes wrong.
"Hey, I have to, er, tell you something. Here goes nothing.
Come on, being gay isn't that big of a deal is it?
Steph narrowed her eyes at me.
"What do you mean you're gay?" My father bellowed, slamming a nearby vase to the ground.
"I knew something was wrong with you." My mother stood in front of me, hand raised.
Just do it.
"I'm sorry, I'm gay." My voice was drowned out with a sudden crash. Guards had leaped out from behind us.
Bang.
I looked over in fear just as Steph fell to the ground, her shoulder blossoming crimson. Fucking help, you dumbass. I made an attempt to grab my machete only to watch in dismay as Steph kicked it away. What the hell?
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" Steph's voice sounded shrill as she directed her rage towards me. I told you it was a horrible idea to tell them. What have you done?
Across from me, Santiago staggered, blood dripping from his leg. Without thinking, I began to move towards him. Just as quickly, I felt something prick my neck. A dart. My eyes widened as tears began to blur my vision.
"I hate you!" Santiago's dark eyes had filled with hate, blood shining in sharp contrast to his bronze skin.
I hate you
"Fag."
"Who would love you?"
"You are no son of mine."
My thoughts began to swirl as my energy melted away. Through my fuzzy vision, I watched as Santiago wrestled himself away from his attackers before tackling the one holding Steph.
"FUCKING RUN!" The girl immediately bolted away, red hair flying behind her.
No.
Don't leave me.
I don't want to be stuck here.
In despair, I watched as Santiago collapsed to the ground, blood oozing from his side.
No! Please move, come on!
Desperately, I pulled against the guard holding me with no avail. I can't move. San's limp body was the last thing I saw as my vision blacked out.
