(POV Monica).

It has been a week since I started working for Jurassic park and to be honest If I had been told that a park had made dinosaurs as theme park attractions I would have called them crazy. But here I am in a park that has brought back Dinos as theme attractions and I get to work with them every day. 

My job follows a basic routine. I wake up at around 8 in the morning have breakfast then I start my rounds. Mr. Hammond had been kind enough to grant me my own private Living quarters here since I'm one of the few women who actually work here.

Anyways My Job is basically to go around and look at each each paddock to make sure the fences are still working and to make sure the Dinos aren't getting rowdy. Since my job as me so close to the Paddocks Muldoon Insisted I carry something more than  tranquilizer gun and a Luger So I Usually Carry an AK-47 I never want to kill the Dinosaurs Its just to scare them off If things get hairy during one of my Inspections.

I Usually inspect the Apatosaurus's Due to them Usually being the calmest and because I like to hand feed them sometimes. The triceratops are sometimes rowdy but they are usually the equivalent of excited cows whenever they get rowdy so they aren't to difficult to calm down. 

The Dilophosaurus Is a lot more aggressive then the herbivores and I have to wear face protection when I check Her paddock. I usually have to fire at least one warning shot with my pistol whenever she gets to close. I actually learned that most of the carnivores actually back up whenever I Holler at them in German My guess is because of how commanding the German language sounds It makes them feel slightly intimidated especially when you have an AK on your back.

Finally there's the T-rex. I Have Only seen once since I started working here but I decided to test a theory. During My studies of animal mentality I learned that some predators prefer hunting at night so One day I checked the paddock at night and got startled when The t-rex roared at me but it was the first time I had seen her and she was majestic.

Today was going just fine The Dilophosaurus had even left me alone. However when I Inspected the T-rex paddock she was pacing around constantly glancing at the fence that surrounded her paddock and that made me concerned I recalled a similar behaviour with the Triceratops two days ago. 

(Flashback).

I had been petting one of the Apatosaurus's when I glanced at my watch and I realized I had to get going to my next paddock Inspection.

"Sorry Girl I have to get going." I say giving an apologetic pet to the large Herbivore.

I had just began to drive towards the Paddock when Muldoon's Voice suddenly came on over my radio.

"ATTENTION ALL PARK EMPLOEES THE TRICERATOPS HAVE ESCAPED THE PADDOCK WE NEED ALL HANDLERS TO DROP THEIR CURRENT JOB AND TO MAKE THEIR WAY OVER TO THE PADDOCK AT ONCE."

Picking Up speed I raced over to the paddock Only to see a giant hole In the enclosures fence. But It made no sense The Triceratops had been completely calm when I checked them yesterday so what suddenly caused them to get rowdy enough to attack the fence.

Jumping out of my jeep I grabed the Trang gun and slung it over my shoulder before jogging over to the paddock enclosure where Muldoon was giving orders to the 20 other handlers who were available.

"Ok we need to split up and capture them all remember you may be able to coax them so try that before Tranqing them." 

"right." we all say before splitting up." 

I had decided to jump back into my jeep and follow some tracks that I saw leading to the west. I decided to go slow so the jeeps engine wouldn't spook them.

After 15 minutes of driving I spotted some rustling in the bushes. Turning the jeep off I stepped out with my Tranquilizer in front of me. However I had to jump out o f the way as a rowdy Triceratops attempted to impale me.

"HEY CLAM DOWN GIRL." I say while raising my hand in a calming gesture. She seemed to recognize I was no threat and calmed down. It took another half hour but I was eventually able to lead her back to the paddock where The handlers had just finished recapturing the others.

we had to stay there for the rest of the day while the construction workers rebuilt the fence. 

Just as the sun was setting Muldoon came up to me.

"Any idea why they were so rowdy today." 

"No I don't I checked them yesterday but they seemed calm enough so why they broke out now I have no idea." I say with a confused shrug

Muldoon went quiet after that but glancing around he saw that the paddocks electric fence power box was blinking red meaning something had happened to the power.

(End flash back 2 hours later).

I had just finished my inspection of the T-rex and was heading back to my small cabin on the far side of the Visitors center when I heard a scream.

Quickly Pinpointing the direction it came from And I raced over.

Arriving at the source I jumped out of my jeep grabbing my Tranquilizer and I was shocked when I saw two handlers on the ground staring at the dinos on the other side of the fence in fear.

"Hey you guys alright." I say while jogging over to help them up.

"Yeah were fine this happens all the time when ever we try to feed them." The handler says gesturing to the raw meat in a crate beside him.

When I went over to the fence one of the raptors Jumped at me startling me a little however I recovered quickly.

"Treten Sie sofort zurück, Raptor ( Translation: Stand down at once raptor). " I order while giving the raptors a sharp glare that makes the smaller one back up a little more and the big one growl at me.

The two handlers I helped out stared at me in Awe as I continued to bark orders at the raptors. 

"Kommen Sie jetzt einer nach dem anderen. Ich weiß, dass Sie Essen möchten. (translation Now come forward one at a time I know you want food). I say while picking up a piece of raw meat I toss at the small raptor. Slowly They all came up to me with the big one being the most hesitant to take the food.

After this Experience I took over the raptor handling and feeding something Muldoon wasn't fond of but he agreed after the two handlers I helped vouched for my skills.
