(AN: I was debating whether to do this chapter or a Jurassic park 3 chapter However I decided to do this one to show Monica's more caring side since that hasn't been shown in a while. Jurassic park three's events will be mentioned in the next chapter but not in detail like teh last two films anyways enjoy).

Lex and Tim were Immensely depressed and Joh Hammond could easily Understand the reason why. There parents had died in a car crash and they were both taking this loss hard This only made their mental state worse servants had reported that there was more than one occasion where the two kids were contemplating suicide and having extremely restless nights. 

John noticed these problem arose 4 years ago after the whole Jurassic park incident he had got them treatment but after news of the whole san Diego incident went live he noticed the trauma begin to resurface.  Tim was handling that abetter due to his love of dinosaurs still remaining. 

However Hammond knew that he couldn't care for his grand children for much longer he was getting old and was ill they needed a family to help them out of this mess teh problem was their other relatives were either struggling to maintain there own families or just straight up didn't want two kids heavily infected by trauma. 

So Hammond turned to his last hope for his grand kids.

"I can lend money anything please I beg of you."

"Hammond calm down And breathe we will take care of your grand kids I can reassure you of that."

"I know you can It's just I'm so worried about them their trauma has only grown more severe and with the loss of their parents and rejection by various family members and close friends I fear things may take a turn for the worst."

"Ok I see. I'll contact My daughter and She'll come get them. However you better get them prepared."    

"Thank you carol I won't forget this." Hammond replied with a smile.

Shortly after hanging up Hamond requested that his grandchildren be brought to him.  Immediately a servant found them and informed them that their grandfather wished to speak to them.

"Lex, Tim I wanted to speak to you regarding a very important matter. Doctors Diagnosed me with a disease and I'm already quite old so I fear that soon I may no longer be with you."

Hammond wanted to inform them of his condition first largely so they would be aware of it and be a bit more willing to go with their new family when they arrived.

Tim was saddened but Lex looked like she was about to lash out.

"REALLY YOU TOO. IT SEEMS THE UNIVERSE IS JUST MOCKING US NOW. FIRST MOM AND DAD AND NOW YOU DID YOU REALLY INTEND TO LEAVE ME AND TIMMY ALONE. IF THAT WAS YOUR PLAN WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST LEAVE US ON SOME ORPHANGE'S DOORSTEP HUH." Lex screamed in between sobs as she ran off.

"Lex." Tim called out preparing to run after her.

"Tim please stay I have more to say I'll have an aid find her." Hammond replied clearly troubled by Lex's words. 

He then proceeded to tell Tim what would happen within the next few weeks and the servants did eventually find Lex. She had locked herself in her room and the servants could hear her sobbing. 

Eventually a helicopter landed near the Hammond estate and out steeped a young woman.

"Greetings mam I can guess your here for Lex and Tim right."

"Indeed may I ask where they are."

"Yes Tim Is with Mr. Hammond and Lex has barricaded herself in her room." 

"I see take me to Lex first." 

"Yes mam."

When they arrived at Lex's room they found It was still locked but fortunately the woman was able to pick lock it.   

"GO AWAY TIM I WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE." Lex screamed not even bothering to turn around as the door shut behind the woman.

"Lex It's me Monica." Monica replied walking towards the crying young girl.

"MONICA." Lex cried out turning to face the young woman who she immediately crushed in a hug her tears staining Monica's shirt. "Is it really you."

"Yes Lex I'm really here I promise." She replied stroking the girl's hair. 

Monica was eventually able to coax the girl out of the room however that didn't mean Lex was ok with it she continued to stay glued to Monica's Hip as she brought her back to Hamond's study.

"MONICA." Tim cried out rushing to hug the young woman.

"Hey Timmy." Monica replied with a smile. 

"Thank you Monica for bringing Lex back now then Lex while it's true I will be gone soon I can reassure you that you will be well taken care of by your new family."

"Who?" 

"Your hugging her." Tim replied with  a chuckle.

"What?"

"yes it's true my mom and dad got a call from Hammond requesting us that we adopt you to help you both cope with your loss and trauma." Monica replied with a smile. 

No words were needed as Lex started to cry again while Hugging Monica tighter. 

eventually a few weeks later Monica was escorting Lex and Tim to  AU Austria. where they saw a large estate near the forest. 

"welcome To my home kids." Monica stated smiling. when the copter landed the two kids and Monica walked out as staff rushed to help the kids move their belongings into the estate. 

ON The helicopter platform stood Monica's Mother Carol Von Zyger.

"are these the kids Monica." Carol asked warmly 

"Yes Mother." Monica replied while gesturing for Lex and Tim to come forward. 

"This is Lex and this is Tim." Monica stated while pointing to each kid who in turn hid behind Monica.

"Now Monica don't hog them to your self Let me see my new children." Their mother chided playfully.

rolling her eyes she reassured them that her mother was harmless. 

It took a bit of time But they eventually warmed up to carol who wasted no time in showering them with motherly love. 

They eventually heard Barking and they turned around Just in time to see Monica get tackled by two wolves.

"SPARTAN, PANZER DOWN BOYS." Monica yelled while being licked to death by the two wolves.

She eventually introduced them to Lex and Tim who were a bit scared of them but Panzer and Spartan sensing they weren't a threat rubbed their bodies don their legs and shortly after Tim was playfully chasing the two wolves.

Eventually night fall came and Lex and Tim were escorted to their rooms. 

(Pov Lex).

I was running running from what you may ask simple A t-rex and Raptors I called for Tim and Monica but neither came. Eventually the dinos caught me and I woke  up screaming with a cold sweat. 

MY door was thrown open two minutes later and there stood Monica in a T-shirt and shorts. 

"Lex what's wrong I heard you screaming."

I couldn't speak at all I just hugged my knees on my bed.  Monica eventually came over to me  and Hugged me while rubbing circles on my back. 

She then began to sing 

"Hush Little Zyger don't be afraid
Though the rain and Thunder may boom.
Know you are safe here in your room.

Remember Your family will always comfort you 
NO Thunder or beast will get you so long as I am here.

We love you NO matter the hardships
so Hush release your woes and I'll help you maintain control.

SO Hush Little Zyger don't be afraid
Sister is here to chase those fears away.

After Monica finished singing I relaxed and Managed to go to sleep But Before I fell asleep I saw Monica get a spare Blanket and Pillow and fella sleep on the couch In my room.

From then On Mom Comforted Tim whenever he had a nightmare and Monica Always comforted me. Monica Loved Us both equally It's just Tim hit it off a lot better with mom then I did and Monica was already close to me.

I was very happy to be a part of  a family again and I'm proud to say I am now Lex Von Zyger Younger sister to Monica Von Zyger.
