Okay. Here's the deal. I'm writing a songfic for the song, "Only A Memory" by Icon For Hire and the ship is Natepat and I LITERALLY CANNOT decide what to do for the life of me. This is the first time I've actually had writer's block and I have to say, it's much more annoying than my problem, which is having WAY too many story ideas. But I think I've narrowed down what I want to do down to two options. But please, if you have ANY ideas, LET ME KNOW! I was told to make this as emotional as possible and I really want to follow through with this.

Alright, here are the ideas that I've figured out. By the way, all of these ideas take place in Nate's point of view but if you like any of these ideas and think that they would be better suited for Mat, let me know and I'll consider it because I'm SUPER desperate.

1. Nate wakes up with no memory of what happened the night before to find Mat laying shirtless on his bed. With a raging hangover, Nate soon figures out that Mat is another one of the guys that he's had a one night stand with and its his final straw. Throughout the course of the fic, Nate will be questioning his identity and Mat will try and help him because he finds that he has fallen for him. At the end, well, that's a secret. ;)

2. Nate wakes up to hear Mat asking him if he slept well. Nate, chained up to the wall, wonders why he allowed himself to fall in love with such a monster. Throughout the course of the fic, Nate will come to terms with his demons and try to escape the man that he once loved.
