The whole friday had everyone excited about- illegally purchasing fireworks... BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER! Eda had bought a whole shit tone of them in the boiling isles and she wanted to take us to the beach in the larger neighboring city- where I currently am, to light them off and have a bit of a fireworks show. Mom had called the police department to ask permission, and since the area didn't have any immediate fire warning- no shit it's water for miles- we got green. Jumping up onto amity's back after practice she grabs my legs to hold me up, burying my face in her neck I mumble utter gibberish except-

"Yaaaayyy...hehe- frIdAYyy"

She chuckles lovingly but then asks worried

"Are you drunk??"

Snorting suddenly I raise my head and hug her neck slightly, my eyes pressing closed to the pressure my head is tormenting me with, I reply surprised and jokingly

"No..?? At least I believe I haven't had any champagne lately, just drunk on boredom "

Kissing her neck she ever so suddenly realizes I don't mean real champagne, stepping into the common room she heads upstairs and into my dorm room. Slipping off her back onto the bed I cover my head with my pillow,

"You look like you have a migraine hun.. is that why you weren't moving much?"

Nodding slightly the lights in the room turn off, the only light being from the slight cracks in the closed blinds. Giving a little peep when she hugs me close I loosen my grip on the pillow and close my eyes in comfort

"We have a few hours.. get some sleep and rest your head"

Placing my hand on hers I roll over carefully to face her, burying my face in her neck I hug her closer. Whining almost inaudibly I rub my face into her collarbone and hope to god the pain ceases, resting her hand on the back of my neck her fingers trap locks of short hair between them. Drifting into a somewhat peaceful sleep I smile. Behind my closed eyelids small fragments of memories float in small glowing orbs, just waiting to be seen again, until one forms into full clarity without my permission to.

Laying flat onto amity's bed as she read outloud the third book of the good witch azura series, I turn my attention to the drawing pad under my hand. Drawing tiny almost invisible love poems I sigh, amity looks over my shoulder causing me to draw a circle to start a head to make it seem like I'm just doodling, pushing the drawing pad to the pillows I flip over to my back and take a lock of her cotton candy pink hair into my fingers, her face covers in a heavy blush.

"L-luz, what are you doing??"

Blanking out my hand still twisting the lock in between my fingers, I see the ceiling start fading into one singular blob of white, not the annoying popcorn texture- as my eyes unfocus more and more.

"Luz..??"

Snapping back into reality I take my hand swiftly away, looking at her with a tired expression she looks at her clock

" you should spend the night here.. it's midnight"

I chuckle lightly and smile

"Do you think your heart can handle that amity?"

She laughs quietly and leans down, her lips so startlingly close to mine my heart goes just a little bit wild. After three skipped heartbeats she asks

"Depends.. do you think yours can?"

Shaking my head no I grab a new lock of hair and murmur

"Maybe not.. but I can manage.."

A smile plasters on her face as my hand slips to her undercut but returns to her cheek, a kiss places gently on my lips and I'm unsure if it's the dream's or reality. Opening my eyes amity smiles and says once she parts

"You seemed like you were waking up.. just thought it'd be nice if you woke up to something- more or less- expected"

Smiling gently I wrap my arm around her and press a second kiss to her lips, pulling her closer to deepen the kiss to something a bit more sexual, she presses a finger to my lips and says in a whisper

"Not yet.. wait a few more hours luz.."

Scoffing I say in a teasing manner

" you're such a cocktease- you know that right? Got me all hot and bothered then you just reject my intentions- the absolute audaci-DiDiDi"

Pushing me away playfully she buries her face into my shoulder, a giggle erupting from her. Smiling softly I rest my head on hers

" you can't really say that luz.. you don't have one-"

Her giggles swiftly change to laughter as I gasp in a fake manner, pulling her further into the loving embrace I bury my face in her hair.

"Mmh.. you're wearing that perfume I bought you last week.."

I murmur quietly into her ear to reply a comfortable, soft 'mhm..." as she buries her face into my shoulder.

Jogging to eda, barbecue lighter in hand I pass it off to her. Joining amity on the hood of my SUV I side hug her close, putting rose on my lap when she runs up to me I kiss her temple

"Miss me mi hija?"

She nods heavily then hugs amity, plugging my ears when eda lights the first aerial, both rose and amity copy me. Jumping when the crack of the firework finds a way past my fingers I laugh gently, a turquoise mixing in with a gold within the sphere. Going to light the second one rose decides accidentally not to put her palms over her ears, jumping a mile when it thunders out a boom she immediately starts sobbing. Pulling her into a hug I kiss her forehead and say,

"No no baby... it's ok- don't cry rose"

Carrying her to the passenger side door I open it and pop open the glove box, giving her a pair of headphone looking silencers I slip them over her ears. Kinda skipping back to amity she immediately raises an eyebrow taking the opportunity to abuse the power of the silencers

"What the fuck are you luz, a fairy? Hehehe- you're getting fruitier and fruitier by the day"

Sticking out my tongue childishly she pulls me into a kiss, parting from her I stare a long while into her eyes. It almost looks like her eyes are rotating rainbow in the fireworks... so beautiful.. breathing in the lingering scent of her perfume I find the scent very pleasant.

"I like to categorize myself as lucky charms"

Wrapping a thick crocheted blanket over rose as she watches she-ra I kiss her forehead,

"I'm guessing that you're staying awake with vee and maya, rose?"

Nodding gently she scoots into vee to get more warmth, chuckling softly she pats rose's shoulder. Walking upstairs I scan my room and lay my eyes upon a fucking goddess, the silky and lacey piece layering over absolutely no major length of her thighs, and the top just so tempting my fantasies.. all in a rich midnight blue- nothing is left to play with the imagination.. not even what's hidden underneath- the fabric flows with every curve of her body, driving my heart absolutely wild.

"There's fireworks luz~ I believe we're just missing champagne.."

Regaining my consciousness to at least lock the door, I strip off my shirt in one fluid movement before I go to cage her in

"Now.. where did you find this eye candy of a temptation?~"

I whisper the words quietly against the skin of her neck, causing the skin to get goosebumps wherever my breath lands. Gasping gently when my hands explore her stomach and sides, my lips press roughly to her neck. Carefully but swiftly swapping positions, she straddles me while my hands go from her stomach, to waist, then hips, and to find purchase on her thighs, all the while a slight smile on both of our faces. That same rotating rainbow fills her eyes within the dark room as the neighbors light more fireworks

"Jesus amity you look absolutely stunning!"

I say discreetly to her causing her to lean down and kiss me passionately, her tongue going into it's habit of trying to trap my barbell, while she slightly struggles to keep a steady pace to her breathing. Keeping one hand firmly onto her thigh I use my other to rest in between the back of her neck and head to push her further into the kiss, little desperate whimpers escape her.. not from my hand- but desperate to speed up what is to come. Moving my hand so adamant on staying on her thigh to her waist, I press her whole body even further into mine. A heavy deep 'ahh' escapes both our mouths as we part just ever so slightly but not loud enough to have anyone slam the door open. A thin gleam of sweat goes across our bodies to the continuing slightly rapid friction not even barely able to consider being 'half naked', the only thing covering us is on the top half and mine isn't even covering much currently being unzipped, and hers flows like a small cape around her, brushing against my stomach as my hands help guide her hips to the flow of the rocking motion. Burying her face in my collarbone as she gasps shakily I press my eyes closed to bite my lip, there's a slight appearance of a pale amber glow in between us, but it disappears as I lower her hips down again leaving no guess as to what spell I'd managed to conjure. Biting onto the skin above my collarbone slightly rough, I press my lips tightly closed to suppress a whimpery moan. Looking at me utterly exhausted I dissipate the spell causing her to lay almost instantly ontop me, her back curving inward as her panting settles down. Pulling her into a position close enough to be considered spooning I pull the covers loosely over us, the corner of the blanket folded over enough to just in case be pulled off us. Burying my face into her shoulder she murmurs a quiet 'mhh' as my embrace tightens

" I love you ami.."

Kissing her neck one last time she replies

" I love you too luz.."

Then we drift into a peaceful sleep.

Waking up to the sun halfway up my eyes travel each contour line of amity's body underneath the sheet, trailing kisses from her neck to her shoulder I murmur lovingly

"Goodmorning gorgeous.."

And pull her in close, thirty minutes pass and we both sit up at our own paces, sliding on a simple black tshirt after reclaiming my sports bra from the floor I pull on a long pair of dandelion yellow silk shorts. Looking over at amity the sheet slipping elegantly off her to just barely cover her lower half, she smiles at me

"Last night was.. amazing-"

She nearly gasps out the last word as I lean in for a soft kiss, smiling against her lips I say in agreeance

"Amazing is a word that leads from a slight to heavy understatement.. but yes.. it was very amazing."

Heading downstairs with amity comfortably in one of the pjs she gave me, I look over at the couch to see rose passed out against the also sleeping vee. Carefully removing rose to hold her in my arms thanking god once again the night had stolen any and all smell, I kiss her forehead

"Mor..ning.. mami"

She mumbles into my shirt returning to sleep once her arms wrap around my neck, pouring a cup of coffee for me and amity I sip the black death water strong enough to be considered rocket fuel. Swaying from side to side as rose begins to snore I lean my head down to listen to her breathing,

" you're an amazing parent mi hija.. it barely took her a second to fall back to sleep"

Mom's voice appears in the kitchen archway, looking at her I smile gently and place my mug on the counter, placing my hand on the small of her back to support her a little bit more I reply appreciatively

"Thank you mom.. I try my best to be despite my age"

Walking to me she guides a messy lock of rose's two inch hair to her half pointed ear- basically a witch ear but the tip is rounded rather than pointed.. looking at amity I smile gently at her, she leans in for a quick kiss then parts. Mom chuckles gently then joins our coffee line- god she's tiny.

"Today is going to be a good day.."
