Amity looks at me extremely confused as I keep on sliding the clothes over in my closet, finally finding a frilly kinda lacey blouse with a whole shit ton of flowers on it. Holding it up to her chest I pull it back and look at the size, handing her the shirt I pull the lightest pair of pants from her backpack. Turning around I see her staring at the blouse a hint of happiness in her eyes, giving her the pants I say quietly.

"Try in on- I think you might like it"

Sitting down onto the bed I turn to face away from her just to give her a bit of privacy, turning around once she says giggling 'ta-da!' I snicker slightly, walking up to her I adjust the strap to fit her better and slip it so only one of her shoulders is covered.

"You should really wear brights more often... you look good in them"

Looking at the blouse she smiles gently her eyes radiating an immense love for the item of clothing, swiftly kissing me she hugs my neck. Laughing gently I hug her waist and pull her closer, resting her forehead on mine she says in a quiet murmur

"Thank you luz.."

Looking at her I ask quietly

"Wanna go to the beach? There's only a few more weeks til winter comes.. and it'd be a very calming walk.."

She immediately nods having seen the beach on the way home yesterday, picking up dads jacket I look at the back to see a perfect line going down the back. Slipping it on I hand amity my hoodie which she gladly takes, heading downstairs I walk up to mom.

"Can I borrow the SUV mom? Me and amity are going to go walk around the beach"

She waves her hand to the key holder beside the garage door, smiling gently she nods.

"It's yours anyway luz- you don't need to ask"

Hugging amity I kinda jump in a circle taking her with me, blushing heavily she pats my head and silently asks me to set her down. Rubbing the back of my neck I blush softly and mutter 'sorry am-' before going to pick up the keys, smiling at amity she takes my hand in hers her thumb rubbing the top of my hand. opening  the garage door I open the passenger door for her

"Special ladies first~"

She raises an eyebrow obviously not realizing the date, getting into the driver's seat I buckle up and press the garage door button above our heads. Driving down the road I rest my head on her knee, handing her my phone I say quietly

"You get full control of the playlist"

Taking my hand back to the wheel so I have both on again I take the turn to the beach, the sound of sorry by justin bieber fills the car.

"No- turn this shit off. I know I said you had full control but I KNOW you're playing this to spite me-"

Laughing lovingly seeing I've caught her she switches it to our current favorite- rock bottom by hailee steinfeld, smiling gently at her I shake my head as I chuckle. Pulling out onto the hard packed sand I kill the engine and take her hand as we meet at the front, walking up to the tides end I slowly walk the edge with her

"So.. I really enjoyed spending Saturday with you sunflower.."

She looks down at my hand gently holding hers, her face going slightly red. Turning to face me she presses a kiss to my lips her arms hugging my neck, smiling gently against her lips she parts from me

" I did too.. but I'm so fucking killing Jennifer for making you cry-"

Sweat suddenly beads up on my face, chuckling nervously I say quietly

"I don't think you'll scare her as easy as dean baby- she's too much of a ditz to realize when someone's threatening her"

Amity laughs gently her eyes glimmering at me, side hugging her I suddenly raise my hand to measure our height

"You liar! You gave me those pjs because you didn't like the material! I'm taller than you now!"

She looks at me and smiles brightly, kissing me she says quietly

"No.. just not my style- I'm into longer shorts.. not booty shorts-"

A slight breeze flows gently across the sand forcing amity to shiver, pulling off my jacket I place it comfortably over her shoulders

"Oh how clique luz noceda~"

Gripping the leather gently she folds the front over itself, wrapping my arm around her waist I watch a starfish from the tide wash inch it's way back to the rushing waves. Spending a long while walking the waters edge I look out at the sun

"It's a beautiful day.. "

Looking at amity I stop walking and grab both her hands, she smiles at me her cheeks covering in pink.

"Today is a very special day am.. I'm glad I get to spend it with you"

Her face shrouds in confusion causing my face to slightly drop, her eyebrows turn upward to complete her confusion.

"Why is it special..?"

My heart kinda cracks a little, looking at her hands for a moment I go to look back up at her,

"It's the first birthday you're gonna spend with me and my family- maybe and co.- plus the extra at the fair!"

She snorts softly seeing I mean maya, playfully hitting the back of my head as we walk on she says chuckling

"Chill it luz- your bakuhoe is showing.. so- you thought of bringing the crew to the human world?"

Blushing in a guilty manner I rub the back of my neck, looking down I mumble

"I promised Willow she'd get to see vee-"

She looks at me with a smile and replies

"Funny story.. I did too.."

Amity looks down at our hands firmly intertwined and sighs heavily, looking at her I feel my heart melt slightly

"You must really want to put a ring on my finger ami.. you've been staring at my left hand all day"

She laughs gently her face covering in a blush, pulling away she covers her face shyly.

"So?.. like you don't ms. Non-traditional- getting us both dressed up in- CUTE clothes. To walk on a beach."

Resting my hand on my hip I look at her with a smile, sitting on the soft dry sand amity sits in front of me her face looking slightly desperate.

"D-Do promise rings count as.. non-traditional..?"

Thinking about our current ages I shake my head no, she sighs relieved her face going to a pink and not her original bright red. Raising an eyebrow I ask quietly

"Should I stand am? Or do you want somewhere more romantic?"

She gasp kinda offended and playfully punches my shoulder, standing up to dodge her attack I giggle as she pouts

"HERE- is fine luz.."

She pats her back pockets slightly and reaches into one, her face slightly irritated with the search. Blushing heavily seeing she has an actual ring and not our ring pop ritual I hide my face, looking at her through my fingers she smiles gently

"Ring pops- however delicious.. are getting old and don't last long- so when I found the grom crown within the deep realms of my closet, I kinda decided to ruin it to take form of something more.. appealing to the eye?"

She stand up to take my hands away from my face, my face covered with a shy cheesy smile that threatens to break from it's form to something even more cheesy. Looking at the ring I remark with a chuckle

"It looks like a ring pop- just a less edible smaller ring pop.."

Clenching my hand gently I say in a whisper almost inaudible

"It fits perfectly.."

Taking my hands in hers she makes a funny face like a sort of 'no shit' kind, laughing softly I side hug her.

Looking at the afternoon sun I stand up, she looks up at me as I lift her up. She smiles knowing what's next, racing me to the car I swiftly pick her up at the legs. Swinging her leg over she sits on my shoulders,

"Let's go get "and co." buttercup I bet they miss us outside of texting"

Setting her down beside the passenger door she gets into the car, getting into the driver's seat I start the engine, backing up out of the sand and onto the asphalt I start the drive home. Resting my hand on her thigh comfortingly she places hers ontop mine, side glancing to see her hand I immediately jerk my eyes to the road- fuckkkk.. she made matching rings-  taking the turn to my street I pull into the driveway and into the garage, turning off the car I pull the portal key out of my Letterman. Heading into the backyard I open it up at the forest to hide it, stepping through into the owl house I immediately freeze when I see eda all touchy feely by caressing moms thigh.

"EW GROSS- could you have at least went to YOUR room eda??-"

Shielding my eyes I walk out the front door my face covered in an embarrassed blush, walking through the market place I take the turn to Willow's place. Knocking on the door one of her dad's opens the door, smiling gently at us I say

"Is Willow here? We want to take her and gus to the- what's going on this October?... OH the fair! In the human world, if that's alright mr. Park"

He nods gently and calls up the stairs

"Willow, your friend's luz and amity are here!"

There's a loud scuffling upstairs by two people, both Willow and Boscha are down the stairs. Willow hugs us both in a tight hug squealing excitedly,

"Hey Willow! It's been forever how have you beeennn... YOU SLY DOG!"

looking at Boscha wiping a nude lipstick off her cheek I smirk heavily at her, blushing heavily at me boscha gives me the bird and follows us outside. Explaining the fair to them I take the turn down to gus' house, not even knocking on the door gus is out the door extremely excited

"LUZ! AMITY! OH MY TITAN you're back!"

Laughing gently I hold up my hand and stick my head through the open door to see mr. Porter wondering what the hell is going on

"Is it okay if I take gus to the human world for a couple hours? We're celebrating amity's birthday"

Giving me a thumbs up I close the door and walk the long ass stroll back to the owl house, willow picks up my hand and asks loudly

"YOU'RE ENGAGED?!!"

me and amity immediately say embarrassed, my face so red I look at amity to hide my face.

"They're just promise rings!"

Walking through the door I see that mom is no longer being fondled, sighing I open the portal door and ask mom

"So- mom, eda... are you going to the fair or do I have to be carpool? I got enough seats in the suv"

She looks at me then eda and says smiling

"I'll join you in an hour with eda and king mi hija hooty wants to show me this- thing under the house"

Looking at amity I push everyone through the portal, saying in a over exaggerated singsong voice I wave

"Have fuuuunnn~"

Closing the portal once me and amity step through I look at her worried, she looks at me concerned

"They're doomed-"

She nods gently and takes everyone to the living room, going to the stairs I yell up them since mom isn't home

"VEE get your ass down here! Come and socialize with other teenagers"

Laughter comes from upstairs as I pull off a surprisingly convinced raven caw up the stairs, vee walks down the stairs with maya in tow her face looking confused at the new seventeen- and fourteen-  year olds.

"Okay-... this is happening- the house is a coven-"
