“She’s turning more and more into Lady Diana. She doesn’t look like the dull child she once was”-Felix

Anthanasia decided it was best to ask Felix for the keys of the topaz palace as it was a place which had been sealed by a past Emperor.

"The Topaz palace? Why would you want tp go there?" Felix inquired.

"I think there is a way to return his majesty's consciousness. But first I need to find out from the Topaz palace. You must know its a magical palace right?"

"Yes. But that's why I'm worried. Even His majesty never dared to enter there. Ever since I was a child I have been told about the danger of that palace" He said feeling worried.

"But it might be the only way to save His Majesty. As a princess of Obelia it is my duty to aim for the betterment of the Empire.

If the Emperor doesn't wake up soon  things will turn bad as I can't hold on to the throne as Emperor proxy for much longer.

The anti imperial family are already making a move and soon they'll come up with a way to take over the Empire's affairs." Anthanasia explained.

"But Your Highness' safety is the most important." Felix said.

"Felix, I know it is your job. And it may be presumptuous of me to say it is also because you care for me. Felix, I see you as a friend. So will you put your trust in me as your friend"

Felix bowed his head then knelt down in front of Anthanasia.

"I shall trust Your Highness. As being called your friend is the greatest honour for me"

"The honour is mine Felix." The warm air passed between the two as the breeze blew Anthanasia'a locks of golden hair.

Felix led her to the office belonging to the Emperor in the Garnet palace. She found the solid keys which were made out of gold and designed with Topaz.

As Anthanasia was about to leave she heard Felix mumble something.

"You're turning more and more into Lady Diana. Not just how you look"

"Pardon?" Anthanasia asked.

"Oh. Nothing" He said with a smile.

She quickly turned around and left as time was of the essence.

Now Lucas had to tell her everything she would do.

They both sat in the drawing room of the ruby palace. The air was tense coming from Anthanasia'a side.

"I've gotten the keys so what do I do when I enter the palace?" Anthanasia asked hurriedly.

"You can't just enter the palace. It isn't that easy. The moment you enter you have to be prepared. The topaz palaces magic  will mess with your mind.

Showing you the thing you have wanted blocking out verything that could take you back to reality.

I could have gone into it for you as I am the most powerful person in the world but only the imperial family can enter." He picked up the keys then clutched them to his hand.

"That is why I'm keeping the keys and you're not going in. I don't know why I even suggested it in the first place"

"Lucas!" Anthanasia jumped up trying to take the keys back from him but he raised his hand high in the air so she couldn't get it. She stopped trying then spoke.

"We will only be able to know how to cure the emperor from the topaz palace! Why don't you want me to go? If you're worried that I will make a mistake and not be in time to cure the Emperor-

"It's not the Emperor I'm worried about! I'm worried about you, you dummy! I said you'd lose your mind if you enter the palace yet you still want to go! If you're not strong enough you'll forget about your reality and forever be trapped in an abyss of your own dreams. What if you never came out! What if you forget about me." Lucas' through emotions unravelled right before Anthanasia as he looked at Anthanasia angrily. "You always put others before yourself, even putting your life on the line for that your idiot father who never cared for you! Maybe that is why I...

He took a pause and didn't say anything.

"Why you what?"

He took a deep breath then spoke calmly "Nevermind. But you're not going into the palace"

"Lucas I get that you're worried about me. But I am worried about Obelia. Very soon the nobles will find a way to take over the Emperors seat. If Obelia falls into the hands of the greedy nobles Obelia could be in danger"

"If you were to die, never come back or forget me Obelia will be in danger" Lucas' red eyes glowed as he clenched his hand. "I could  slaughter every single person and set the lands on fire if anything happened to you"

The air felt scary as Lucas spoke. Anthanasia took a step forward then held Lucas' hand.

In that moment it seemed that his anger had vanished.

"Lucas" She called out his name softly. "I will ask you something I have asked someone today. Will you trust me my dear friend?"

Lucas' eyes widened at word 'friend' which Anthanasia had never called him. He turned away as his face became a bit flushed then he faked a cough.

Unknown to him who was distracted Anthanasia slipped out the key from his hand.

"Fine. I'll trust you. Just this once."

Anthanasia smiled at Lucas' words then gave him a hug. "Just know I'll never forget you, Lucas. I will never forget anyone dear to me"

He was suprised by the abrupt hug but hugged her back as he felt warmth he had never felt all his life.

This was a very late update. Like 2 weeks late. Well it was because I was put on a device ban by my parents. But now I’m back! Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Though it was kind of rushed and probably has lots of spelling errors.
