I grabbed my phone and Memaw handed me a piece of paper that had the gentleman's name and number on it and I typed his number in my phone, but Memaw stopped me as I was about to click the call button

"What if he doesn't want to go out with me?" Memaw said

"Why wouldn't he?" I said as I grabbed her hands

"I am not a spring chicken anymore". Memaw said

"It's just a date, and if he did not like you, then he would not have given you his number". I aid as I leaned into her

"Okay, call him". Memaw said as I clicked the call button on my phone

The three rings came, and then, this southern gentleman voice came on

"Hello?" He said as Memaw's face turned red and she smiled

"Hello, is this Mr. Mason Kennedy?" I said as Memaw smiled

"Yes this is, may I ask who's calling?" Mr. Kennedy said in a really polite southern gentleman voice

"Yes, this is Queen Analeigha Reninsky-Montgomery of Harrington Kingdom". I said as Memaw smiled

"Oh well, hello Queen Analeigha". Mr. Kennedy said as I smiled at Memaw, because her face blushed bright red

"Hello to you too Mr. Kennedy". I said

"I met someone there the other night, she was really sweet and kind, she also took my breath away too". Mr. Kennedy said as Memaw looked at me as I looked at her

"Yes, she's really sweet and really nice too and she's quite the breath taker". I said as Memaw slapped my leg

"Do happen to know who she is? and I may have seen her before". Mr. Kennedy said

"Yes, I do, because she is my Memaw and you might have, because she's the Queen of country music". I said as he gasped

"She is your Memaw, no wonder why you look so much like her, and yes, I have seen everything she's done, from tours to her events she has every year". Mr. Kennedy said

"Why thank you Mr. Kennedy, you are quite handsome yourself". I said as Memaw smiled

"If I can or if I am allowed too, may I speak with Loretta?" Mr. Kennedy said as I could see his expression in my head

"Yes, of course you can, because she's right here beside me". I said as I handed her the phone as I went to get up, she grabbed ahold of my blouse and sat me back down as she held her hand over the phone, so Mr. Kennedy could not hear us

"Analeigha, I can't do this all by myself, please help?" Memaw said

"Okay, anything for you Memaw". I said as I sat back down to help her, because she was quite nervous about talking to him

"Hello?" Memaw said as she put my phone back on speaker phone

"Hello Loretta?" Mr. Kennedy said

"Yes, it's me honey". Memaw said, because she says that to everyone she talks to

"Loretta, I hope you don't mind, but how would you like to go on a date with me?" Mr. Kennedy said as Memaw looked at me and I nodded my head and smiled

"Well, Mr. Kennedy, I would love to go out on a date with you". Memaw said as she smiled

"Oh Loretta, you don't know how happy you just made me". Mr. Kennedy said

"Not as happy as you made me sweetheart". Memaw said beaming with happiness

"Loretta, you may call me Mason". Mr. Kennedy said

"Well Mason, where would you like to go?" Memaw said

"I will make those plans sweetheart, so you don't have to worry". Mr. Kennedy said

"Okay honey". Memaw said

"Well, I will pick you up Friday night at 5:00 p.m.". Mr. Kennedy said

"Okay sweetheart, I will see you Friday night at 5". Memaw said

"Okay darlin', I can't wait". Mr. Kennedy said

"Me either honey". Memaw said

"Bye Loretta". Mr. Kennedy said as she smiled

"Bye Mason". Memaw said as my phone clicked off of the call

"Oh Memaw, I am so happy for you". I said as she smiled really bright

"Me too baby, me too". Memaw said as she danced around with a smile
