Memaw was looking through the possible outfits to wear for her date tonight, because me and everyone else, but Memaw, knows about her date.

Mason said that be was taking Memaw out to the restaurant on the water, because he said he loves the way the sunset, the water, and the moonlight reflects off Memaw.

Marcie chose a really pretty red dress for Memaw to wear on her date with Mason. Memaw just wanted to look good for Mason, because this man treats her as if they were married.

As we were getting Memaw ready, the doorbell rang, so me and Memaw went downstairs to see the flower delivery man standing there with two dozen red roses in his arms.

"Hi Ms. Loretta". Our flower delivery man named Patrick said

"Well, hi there honey". Memaw said with a smile as he smiled back

"Ugh... Delivery for Ms. Loretta Lynn". Patrick said as he could not stop staring and smiling at her

"Why thank you honey, these must be from Mason". Memaw said as Patrick put them in her arm as she signed the paper for the delivery.

"Ohh Memaw, those are beautiful!" I said as I walked down the stairs with Mama

"Oh mama, these must be from Mason". Mama said

"They are". Memaw said as she smiled

The note on the roses said:
"To someone as special as you, should have a night out.
Roses are red
Violets are blue

"I have never had something as sweet as this in my entire life". Memaw said

"You deserve everything Mama". Mama said

"Thank you baby". Memaw said as she hugged Mama

"You're welcome Mama". Mama said

"I'm so excited for my date". Memaw said

"You should be and me too". I said

"You deserve a night, just for you". Mama said

"I hope that restaurant is good, because if it is, then I will take y'all to it". Memaw said

"Okay". I said

"I better go put these in water, before they die out". Memaw said

"Okay". I said

Memaw went and put her flowers in a vase with water and added some sugar, so they would not die out.

"I'm so excited about my date tonight!" Memaw said as you could here the excitement in her voice

"You should be, it's going to do you a lot of good to get out and have a nice time". Mama said

"Jenny, I hope you know that this does not mean I am replacing your daddy in anyway". Memaw said

"Oh no mama, I know that". Mama said

"I loved your daddy with all my heart, but it's time for me to get out there again, not just dating, but other things". Memaw said

"I know that Mama and I want you to get back out there, not only the dating scene, but just being on stage with your band, us, and your fans". Mama said

"I have another idea!" Memaw said

"I would love to hear it!" Mama said

"How about I do events and start touring here". Memaw said

"Yes! That would attract a lot of people to come visit here and come to see Harrington and it's value". Mama said

"Well honey, I hate to end our mother and daughter bonding time, but Mason will be here in a little while and I want to be prepared when he gets here". Memaw said

"It's okay Mama, I understand you're so excited about your date". Mama said

"If you and John are not busy tonight, then why don't y'all go out and have dinner or something fun". Memaw said

"That sounds like a great idea! I will have to ask him". Mama said

"Maybe, if John wants too, y'all could come to the restaurant where Mason is taking me, because I have no idea what restaurant he's taking me to". Memaw said

"I will have to see if he wants to go, but we're not going to sit real close to you and Mason, because you don't need any chaperones". Mama said

"It's whatever y'all want to do". Memaw said

"I will go and see if Alex and Analeigha feel like going out". Mama said

"They probably will, because they have been wanting to go on a date for a while now, but they're always so busy, that they never get anytime between the two of them". Memaw said

"Yeah, they're always so busy with work, that they never find the time to do anything, you know, just the two of them". Mama said

"That's how I was when I was queen". Memaw said

Memaw looked at the time on her watch as she realized what time it was

"I better go get my purse and wallet". Memaw said as she went upstairs
