A week later
Kenji walks down the dark and musty stirs to the dungeon and comes up to the two guards. The guards instantly come to attention as he walks up. Kenji gave them both a large bag of gold then told them to scram for a while. He then opens the cell door and kicks Kai's legs to wake her up. Kai woke with a jerk as she scrambles to her feet.

"I dont know what you did with her that day you took her but now she won't shut up about you." Said Kenji.

"All I did was show her my world as a thief. She enjoyed it. She wants to be with me,even if I am a thief." Said Kai.

Kenji growls and pulls out a dagger, driving it into Kai's sidegut. Kai gasped and coughed up blood. Kenji leans in,pulling Kai close,leaning into her ear.

"With you gone,kida will be all mine. Don't worry I will take good care of her" smirked Kenji as he pulls the dagger out. "Have fun bleeding out,thief."

Kai holds her side,her chains jingling as she falls onto the pile of straw. Kenji smirks then laughs as he slams the door behind him and leaves. Kai heavily panting as she tries to make the bleeding stop. She whimpers as the blood continue to stain her clothes along with straw. She didn't want to die,not without saying good bye to kida first.
