"so they lying to us" shiro said with his arms crossed annoyed.

"yeah when i hack urr i um asked to look at smile files from the last planet we saved i found a certain file with this wanted poster, someone willing to pay big cash for her and he wants to make her his bride .. the wanted posters was sent out from this planet" Pidge said with a serious stone and rubbed her neck as she nearly told the leader about her hacking a planet they have truce with. 

"then the space thugs could be trying to save the girl and trying to stop the man who after her, they not here for war but to save" Hunk said surprised as Pidge just nodded. 

"shiro, this girl was a princess from this planet before they started to get killed, i think the children Pidge help save might be the ones fighting this planet trying to save their fellow friend from a cruel fate" keith said with worry and shiro nodded to say he agree. 

"then why dont we just go save the princess" Lance said with a grin and everyone rolled their eyes at him. 

"if this planet was keeping the wanted posters from us then I'm sure they wont just give up the princess or stop hunting her down even if we did speak with them, we need to make sure the princess is safe and keep her away" shiro said with worry and the others nodded. 

"but how this photo is a couple years old and was taken at a time when she was known as a princess, she might have changed after seeing her whole life turn into war and death, she might have gone into hiding and changed her looks to stay safe" Hunk said with worry. 

"why dont we try to talk with one of the space thugs, since this town wont tell us anything and keep acting nice, they the only ones who can tell us what really going on" keith said with a hand on his hip. 

"sounds good to me but how do we reach them without this planet knowing and without them thinking we been sent to kill them" lance said with worry. 

"why dont we send out a fake signal saying we caught the princess and is taking her to the woods for pick up, I'm sure her friends will show up to save her and the planet wont even know about it since we can say we just gonna go on patrol" Pidge smirked with a hand on her hip and the team grinned. 

"Pidge get working on that signal in the castle, keith go with him and make sure no spies are following you two, we cant let anyone see you going to the castle, i go speak with allura and tell us we just gonna go on patrol later tonight, lance and hunk i want you to go buy a cloak that make one of us look like the princess from behind" Shiro ordered and everyone nodded. 

"who should we use as the princess, we dont know her height or size" hunk said with worry.

"i do it, you four look way too manly for your own good, i still got a growing body so they have to look at me twice before seeing I'm a fake, plus any girl would look tiny with four strong men around" Pidge smirked and crossed her arms. 

"and this is why we call you the brains but i was hoping to put keith in a dress" lance laughed and ruffled Pidge hair. 

"Idiot we all be wearing our armour tonight, even the person who gonna ware the clock would have armour under" Keith sighed and they all started walking their own ways.

LATER THAT NIGHT.

The five was walking with Pidge in the middle, making her look like a prisoner to any outside eyes. She had the cloak on covering her face and armour. They walked deep into the woods and felt eyes on them, they knew they were being followed and was heading towards a trap just liked they hope. 

Soon people jumped down from trees and surrounded the paladins aiming weapons at them. The five paladins just lifted their hands up peacefully and pidge kept her face covered just in case things go bad. Shiro order her to stay as the princess in case they try to kill the other paladins before they could call a truce, this way they could use her as a shield to keep the thugs back. 

"I'm shiro the black paladin voltron and i wish to talk with your leader" shiro asked in a clam voice trying not to scare those aiming weapons at the group. "where is the princess" one boy who wore a brown clothes and a muddy green mask that covered all his face asked. "she right here but we wish to make a truce and find out what really going on here, we know this planet people are lying and wish to find the truth" Lance said with a calm tone but yelp when something poke his back and he looked to find a tip of a sword. "oh man we going to die" hunk panic and the others rolled their eyes. "I'm surprised it took this long for him to freak out" Keith sighed since he knew Pidge was dying to say it but couldn't. 

"we know the people sent you to kill us, why would we trust you" the muddy green mask man asked with his fighting staff aimed at keith since keith was glaring. "fuck it, look jackass we here to help the princess and her people without the planet finding out .. if we wanted to kill you then your body would be limp by my feet already .. if your got time to fight over who to trust then you dont care about the princess safety or helping her" Keith hissed and grabbed the mast man fighting staff. Keith was gonna say more but was stopped when pidge grabbed his hand and shook her head under the hood making him stand down and the other three paladins sigh since keith just lost his cool. 

"nice going mullet" Lance smirked and keith just crossed his arms. "is now a good time to panic" Hunk asked with worry and shiro sighed at his team. 

"I'm sorry about my friend and i dont know how i can prove our trust to you and your group but we do wish to find out more about this planet and what going on here" shiro said with a small worried smile. 

"no need to prove yourself, your friend just proved trust .. he seemed more worried about protecting my sister then trying to win us over" the mask man said with a small laugh and keith looked at him like the guy was insane.

"Pidge" Keith said with worry as Pidge pulled the hood down after she knew her friends would be safe from danger and stopped acting like the princess since she knew it was wrong to lead them on.

"its not right to give them false hope" Pidge said with a smile and keith just nodded not noticing the mask man looking at pidge.

"follow me, its not safe to talk here since the people go on patrol to hunt us down" the mast man said with worry and told the paladins to follow them.

"welcome to our little base" the mask man said as he led them into a cave with a hidden entrance. He lead the paladins into a side room made in the cave and  closed the wooden door after Pidge enter since she was the last one. He walked to the table and took his mask off. The team was shocked to find him looking just like Pidge. 

"the name matt and I'm the leader of the rebels" Matt smirked and hand his hands on his hips as the others look at him stunned. 

"sorry but do you have a little brother" hunk asked as he picked up Pidge making her yelp a little and stood her next to matt making them all look the two over. 

"no but i do have a younger sister, she the princess that lotor wish to  make her bride" Matt hissed and Pidge frowned at hearing the name Lotor again. 

"Lotor, he was a prince here .. why would this planet help him" Shiro asked shocked since they remember their old mission on the planet once before and remember meeting Lotor. 

"no clue, he was given a seat on the rebel escape ship like everyone else you see in this cave, he took power of the planet somehow and now he put a wanted poster out for my sister after finding out she escape alive all those years ago .. she in danger again" Matt sighed with worry. 

"dont worry we here to help you and the princess but we need more info" pidge said with a small smile trying to pretend to act cool and as a stranger to her older brother since she looks like a dude right now and the others think she a guy. 

"thank you" Matt smiled and Pidge smiled back. 

"do you have any clues where the princess could be" lance asked with a small smile. 

"no clue, i was told my sister died many years ago and then all of a sudden someone said they had prof of her being alive and lotor sent those poster out .. we tried to destroy the planet weapons shed and tried to stop the posters being sent out and to ruin any clues he finds about her but seem to have failed since a inside spy told us lotor already found her" Matt said annoyed. 

"he found her" Keith said shocked like the others but Pidge was more scared then shock. Did he find out Pidge was Katie and that why voltron was called or has an innocent girl just been bought to her doom in Pidge place. 

"yeah, we were hoping to find my sister with you after hearing the signal since he would be bringing her out tomorrow, tonight is our only chance to break her out safely or we have to go into battle tomorrow" Matt said with a frown. 

"leave saving your sister to us" shiro said with a smile. 

"no she my sister, i wont leave her in the hands of others again" Matt yelled and Pidge grabbed his hand. 

"you and all the other children who was sent away from the bloody war must not fight anymore, your families sent you away wanting their children to live and be free .. dont waste their sacrifice and die on them ... let us find your sister" Pidge said with a true smile shocking Matt since the guy next to him remind him so much of his sister. 

"I'm trusting you, please safe my sister" matt asked and Pidge nodded. 

"we better head back, allura be ending the meeting soon and the people might wonder why we not back from patrol yet" Hunk said looking at the time. 

"it looks like we running back" Lance sighed and Pidge moaned. 

"dont tell me you cant handle a little running" Keith smirked at his friend as they walked out the cave. 

"I'm a hacker and not a runner, just leave my pass out body by a tree" Pidge sighed as they started running and Matt heard the others laugh at Pidge comment. 

"i wonder" Matt smiled and watched them run into the woods soon not being able to see then anymore.
