Jerome's POV

I groaned when I woke up. I looked over at the window.

It was still dark out. I always get up early so I can be wide awake.

I jumped up and walk to my closet. Quickly changing into a suit and fixing my tie in a body mirror.

I squinted my eyes when I thought I saw someone behind me. I turned around quickly and looked around. Nothing.

I sighed and rubs my eyes. Yawning. I looked back in the mirror in my eyes widen. Then I turned around quickly again.

I thought I saw someone near my window. I step back from the mirror. When I looked back into the mirror the bedroom door flew open and I saw someone run down the hall.

I grabbed softly and started running after him. When I saw him turn I glance and ran faster he went into Michelle's room!

Mitch's POV

My eyes popped open when I heard my door slam shut then loudly lock. I set up quietly and listened.
It was quiet.

Was it just me? I rubbed my eyes. When I went to open the canopy but it's one open on its own. I sat there on the bed surprised. Then I looked up.

You could tell it was a guy by his figure but his face was covered. I scooted back slowly and then jumped off the bed on the other side.

He disappeared behind the curtain. Making my heart stop and beat out of my chest. Who was that guy!? I kept looking forward at the bed. Then I heard a banging on the door.

"Michelle! Michelle answer me! Open the door please!"Jerome yelled.

The knob was twisting quickly to the left and the right.

"Jerome-"!

My mouth got covered with the guys hand. Muffling my yells and wrapped it around me. Pinning them to my sides.

He turned and threw me on the ground hard. Making me loose my bresth. Then he sat on my legs and used both of his hands to cuff them around my neck.

He added small amounts pressure every second. Starting to choke me till I couldn't breathe.

I grabbed his wrists and kept trying to pull them away, but they wouldn't budge after my strength drained from me.

"Hello your highness. Good to see you again. But this time, I'm finishing you off"he whispered to me.

My face turned red, then blue while I still couldn't breathe. I was scared. Deathly scared. Was I going to die!?

Just as I started seeing spots, the door bursted open. Jerome and two guards came running in. They tackled him off me and Jerome kneeled beside me as I was gasping and coughing for air.

Finally I caught my breath and my eyes pricked with tears. Jerome sat against the wall and held me close, as I cuddled closer to him.

"You okay?"he mumbled to me as he kissed my forehead.

I nodded and the guards handcuffed the guys wrists behind his back. Then made him get on his knees on the ground. Then snatched his hood and mask down. I almost passed out.

Tears quietly fell down my cheeks. Jerome looked at me when a couple landed on his arm. He was confused.

"Do you know him Mitch?"he whispered to me.

He looked up at me and grinned. He didn't have the scar across his face the last time I saw him. Which was 10 days ago.

I nodded and got up I slowley walked over and kneeled in front of him. I touched his cheek softly.

He's not himself anymore. One eye was dark brown, the other a bright golden color.

"Why Adam?"I whispered.

He smiled at me and nudged my hand away with his cheek.

"I can't really say Mitch-elle", I looked more confused ,"There's no telling what will happen if I do"

His golden eye shined a little brighter. I frowned and stood back up. Jerome got up and hugged me.

"Friend?"he mumbled.

I hugged him back tighter ,"Was I guess".

He frowned and made me sit on my bed. He told the guards to make Adam stand up and they dragged him out. He looked at me.

"I'll be back in a minute. Just wait here. Okay"?

I nodded and moved and sat up against the headboard to stretch my feet out.

He smiled at me and left. Shutting the door behind him quietly. As if I was asleep.

I smiled softly then frowned. What was Adam doing?

We were best friends... he was basically my only friend. He also knew my secret but he really didn't care.

My eyes teared up and I quickly wiped them away. Then I laid down on my side and on top of the covers.

Finally I closed my eyes, and accidentally fell into a deep sleep.
