Star POV

As weeks ans months passed by my body was changing and very quickly which was worrying me a bit. I was huge that was for sure. I started to hate how I was looking and poor Marco was trying to keep me happy and positive throughout the time but all he received was my rude attitude. I was only 5 months and a few weeks along and I was so done with this. His kind already had their pups but I'm still carrying. Sometimes I wish I was a werewolf so this process could be done with. "Star? Are you okay? Do you need anything?" I groan "I'm fine Marco. Why dont you go for a run or something?" He pouts as he stalked closer towards me. "I cant leave you honey. Especially now that you--" "I'm what?!" He nervously chuckles "Just..have a lot of confusing emotions. You know?" I glared at him. "Dont sugar coat it Diaz. I'm emotional and a wreck. I'm ugly and fat and I just want to hide away from the world." He came close as he embraced me into his warm arms as his scent helped me relax a bit.

"You're not ugly star. You're beautiful and your not fat you are carrying life. Our beautiful pup let me remind you." He kissed my shoulders and neck as I sigh. "Marco.." he hums as he looks down at me. "I want to go back home." He chuckles "but we are home." I shook my head. "No. I mean my home at the castle. With my parents." His smile fades a bit as he looked confused. "But why? Did I do something wrong?" I shook my head. "No I just want my mom. I miss her a lot and now that I'm pregnant I want her near me." I started to tear up. "I miss my mother." He nods as he held my face. "Alright. I'll take you back. But you promise to come back before the birth?" I nodded as I hugged him "yes! I'll be back before it. I wouldn't want you to miss it." He smiles softly as I kissed him as he chuckles. "I'm just glad you're smiling more." I giggled.

Marco told his parents about my request and they said it was fine but I had to make sure I will be back before the birth. I was so excited to see my parents. It's been forever since I've seen them ans to let them know that their going to have a grandbaby makes it so much better. As we walked hand in hand I held my round belly as I looked at Marco and around. He really is quiet about me leaving for a few months. Maybe he's going to miss me? He can't be selfish since I chose him over the human kingdom. "I'm not selfish star." I blush forgetting he can hear my thoughts. "Sorry. What's wrong?" He growls softly "You're leaving me. My mate rather be away from me during her cycle then being with me." I stop as he stops as well.

"Well if you didnt want me to go then why didnt you tell me no?" He fakes laughs as he drops my hand. "If I say no..you would throw a fit and wont speak to me for awhile. I rather you be happy then be suffering for the rest of the months." I pout as he shakes his head. Marco's hair is getting longer and his beard is coming in. "listen star, you dont understand how hard this is for me. To let you go alone, without me? Unprotected? Its dangerous you know?" I sigh "I get that but I'm in a castle. They're thousands of guards and I'm always being watched. I'll be protected my love." I held his face in my small hands as he placed his on my belly. "Alright. I trust you. I just want you both to be safe. I made a promise I'll protect you both." I smiled "I know and you will."

As we reached the end of the woods I could the wall of the castle. Its been so long since I've seen this place. "I'm home." I smiled as Marco held me closer. "Anytying to make you happy Star." I giggled as we went towards the gate. "Halt. Who goes there." I pull down my hood "Princess Star Adeline Butterfly. Daughter of River and Moon Butterfly. Let me through." The guards nod as they let us pass. I smiled as I started to walk faster as Marco was quickly following "star slow down." I was too giggly to be back as I bumped into someone. "Oh my apologies!" I bow down as I look up I started to cry. "Star?!" "Mommy!" She embraced me tightly as we cried in the embrace. "Oh my sweet baby. Look how beautiful you look. Oh my!" She looked down at my stomach "Star? Are you expecting?" I nodded as I wiped my eyes.

"Yeah. I'm 5 months and 3 weeks along. Surprise." She smiled as she held my belly. "Congrats honey. What are you two doing here?" Marco came and stood tall and took a deep breath. "Your highness, Star wanted to spend the last few months with you in her childhood home. I had to make a choice to let her go so she'll be happy. So in doing so is it okay of she stays until then?" Mom nods "Of course. Marco you are also welcomed to stay too." He shook his head "I appreciate the offer but this was my mates request and I will give her space. I'll be back to get before the birth." Mom nods. "Oh, alright then. Thanks for bringing her safely." He nods. "Of course. Well I'll be heading back home. Bye star, see you soon." He nuzzled in my neck as he kissed the mark and finally kissed me. "Love you so much my sweet lily." I smiled and kissed back.

"Love you too my wild man." He embraced me one last time as I could feel he didnt want me to go. "Be good with your mother little one." He said as he held my belly. "Little pup will be alright. Take care Marco." He nods and smiles. "See you soon darling." After that he turned and ran out the gates towards the woods and he was gone. A piece of me was feeling a bit empty but I know he will be there for me. "Come on dear, let's get you washed up." I took one more look before they closed the gates.

"Alright."

A/n hello everyone. Sorry for short update I've been busy and sick again. I got to the point I went to the hospital to check what's wrong with me. Ugh I hate it. Anyways I'm feeling a lot better then I did on Tuesday. Also I got my new phone and I love it lol. Anyways hope you like this part and I'll try to write more in the next part. Bye guys!
