Autumn's POV

I scramble to get my underwear and bra on, along with a freshly pressed dress. I quickly comb the knots out
of my wavy light brunette hair. Then I run down stairs to greet the door. Mt parents greet me with a bow and smile. I let them enter and they put their shopping bags in the foyer. Then they sit in the living room. I quickly gently shut the door and scurry to the living room. I gracefully sit on the loveseat across from them. "Have you finished your school work and cleaned the house?" My mom asks sternly. I nod, "Yes mom." She smiles and relaxes into the chair. Then my dad talks, " Have you prepared dinner? And have you called grandma?" "Yes, dad. All done. Supper awaits you in the dining room. It's fresh and hot." I exclaim. He nods approvingly and stands. "Your mother has some news for you, dear. I have to go change into dinner clothes. I'll see you at dinner." He pats my head and leaves the room. My mom delicately folds her arms in her lap. "We're going to the palace tomorrow night for dinner with grandma. Formal. We bought you a new ball gown today for the occasion." "Okay. Thank you mom." "Let's get ready for dinner, darling." She says. I nod and rush up to my room.

Liam's POV

Autumn rushes in her bedroom door and plops down beside me on her bed side with a sigh. By the time she's come in I have pants on but I'm still shirtless. I rub her back softly then wrap my arm around her and pull her to my side. She leans on me and closes her eyes."Shhh babe it's okay. I'm here for you." I comfort her in whisper because I heard their whole conversation. She pulls me into a hug and I don't resist, wrapping her in my arms. After a few moments of silence she pulls away. "I gotta go get ready for dinner. I'll see you tomorrow?" I smile gently "Yes. Tomorrow before you leave."And with that I leave out her window with my shirt in hand. I hear her sigh and close the window.
