Luke's POV

We watched two other movies before the girls got restless. Zoe went to her room to get ready for some date and I decided to get up. I tried to stand but I felt a weight on my shoulder. I look over and see Autumn's head resting on it as soft snores drift from her lips. She's so beautiful. I sit there playing with her hair until she wakes up. She quickly notices she's leaning on me and she looks up at me. "Oh, why hello Luke! You make a very comfy pillow!" She giggles and I can't help but smile. "Oh, thanks. I just love being a pillow." I laugh softly. Then there's silence and we just stare into each other's eyes. She clears her throat and stands up quickly. "Oh my gosh look at the time! I really need to get home now!" She frets. "I could drive you since Zoe's busy?" I offer. She nods and gives me a tight hug. "Thanks luke!!" She smiles and runs out the door and to my car. I run after her. We ride in comfortable silence until I ask her a question, "So, Autumn...not that I don't love surprise visits from you, but might I ask why you did today if anything specific?" "Well um I had a day off school so I decided to visit my best friends!" She shrugs but her face says otherwise. "Mhmm. What about your boyfriend? Does he know you have a day off?"I push. "W-Well um y-yea but he has some uh errands to do. Yea.." She stutters and suddenly her eyes fill with tears. I pull over into an empty parking lot but she doesn't seem to notice. "Can you please tell me, Autumn-bear????" I ask and reach out to rub her arm. She just sniffles and looks away. I rub her arm softly until she breaks down and tells me about how he's a cheater and such. She stops at the end and just sobs. I envelope her in my arms and she cries into my chest until my shirt is soaked. I rub her back until her sobs just turn into whimpers. She grips my shirt in her hands tight. "Autumn love?" I softly ask. "Yea?" She sniffles. "He doesn't deserve you. You're worth a million diamonds and counting. He's worth a pile of dirt." She laughs quietly and nods her head. "Are you ready to go home now?" I ask. "I have to." She replies and lets me go. I buckle her in then buckle myself again and we ride to her house-mansion practically-with me comforting her the whole way there and trying to make her laugh. I succeed. We reach her place ten minutes before noon. "Thanks Luke. Gosh I love you, you goofball!" She exclaims and wraps me in a hug. Damn, I wish she knew how much I love her. Then we part ways as she runs into her house to get dressed before her parents arrive. I drive home.
