Autumn's POV

I practically jump in joy at this news. No instructor, no rules, no precision, just relaxation. I rush upstairs and into my room. I throw on some yoga pants, a white crop top, and I change my bun to a messy bun. After that I decide to call Liam. After the fourth ring, he answers, "Oh um hey babe I thought you were busy today like usual." I sigh happily, "No, I get the day off school and my parents won't be here till noon and I was wondering if you wanted to come over till they arrived?" He makes a strange grunt sound, "Well...Um you see the problem is I'm a bit preoccupied." A feminine voice interjects, "Liam? Who are you talking to honey?" Liam stutters, "N-nobody baby just a bill collector. I'll be there in a minute." Liam's...cheating on me? But I never thought he'd... he said he'd never... "Who the HELL is that?!" I yell on accident. "I um it's just um..." He hangs up. Well now my day's officially off to a bad start. With hot tears rolling down my cheeks, I decide to call my best friend Zoe. "Hello? Autumn? Are you okay, you sound like you're crying?" Zoe asks panicked. I tell her the whole story. "Awe darling I'm so sorry. He's a jerk anyways." She pauses, "If you want you could hang out with me today." She suggests. I nod and then realize that she can't see me. "I would love that. Can I come over?" I reply. "Of course you can girly. Oh, and my brother says hi." Then she hangs up.

I pack my things for Zoe's house-Jellybeans, Popcorn, Movies, ect-and I take the keys to the spare truck because I'm 18. Then I head over to her house.

I arrive at 11:00 a.m (30 minutes later). I grab my sack of fun things and head up her italian style small porch and ring her doorbell. A happy to see me Zoe greets me with a smile. "Autumn!! Come in babes!" I laugh at her nickname and walk into her living room, plop down on the carpet, and toss my bag to her. She opens it and inspects my goodies. "Ooooh Disney movies!" She smiles. "And your favorite-Jellybeans!" I add as she continues to sift through the stuff and walk into the living room, sitting by me. Zoe and I have been friends since kindergarten. She moved here (USA) from Australia. She knows what it's like trying to get away from the crowds and having to live up to people's expectations. She knows because her brother is
famous.

I watch my best friend as she walks over to the dvd player and puts in Aladdin. Then, she suddenly, randomly, tackles me in a hug. "I've missed you so much fall leaf!" I laugh, "I've missed you too, Zoe-bear!"

I reach into my bag as she adjusts herself beside me and I pull out popcorn. "Hey I'll go make us some popcorn, kay zo?" I say. "Kay." She replies, absorbed in the movie. I walk out of the room into the kitchen and place the popcorn into their overhanging-the-stove microwave for about two minutes. Then I stand there leaning againsy the fridge and hum to myself. The popcorn is almost down when I see a shadow looming over me. I turn around and grin. "LUKE!!" I yell and smile. "AUTUMN!!" He laughs and picks me up in a bear hug. He's been like a brother to me for as long as I've known Zoe. And he's really protective.
