Luke's POV

I wake up to my sister squealing. I sigh and groan because it's only 6:00 a.m. After changing, I rush to knock on my sister's door to see what the fuss is all about.

"What the hell do you want Luke?!" Zoe demands.

"Just let me in, Zoe." I roll my eyes and cross my arms on my chest. Shes exaggerates a sigh and opens her door.

"What, Luke." She sounds annoyed.

"Why are you squealing?"

"Oh nothing. Just Autumn falling in love with prince charming. No big deal." She says with a smile.

"What?"

"Yea..you see her parents arranged for her to marry a prince and they're falling in love already! Crazy stuff, huh Luke?" She says with sass.

"Yea...so crazy." I speak my words with clenched teeth. Damnit. Why couldn't she fall for me?! Ughhhhh. I feel more mad than ever at this news.

A couple hours later and Autumn shows up for Zoe. I decide to lay low. Maybe she won't notice me.

"Where's Luke?" Autumn asks Zoe.

"In the kitchen!" Damnit, Zoe.

"Luke!!!" Autumn runs up and hugs me.

"Autumn.." I say with no enthusiasm. She pulls away.

"Whats...wrong?" she questions my sudden coldness.

"Oh, nothing." I shrug but my face says otherwise obviously.

"Oh Luke! You can't fool me!!" She exclaims cheerfully.

"Can we...talk in private, Autumn. Please?" I ask hopefully. She nods and I take her to my room. "I'm just upset about you falling for a prince..." I trail off.

"Why?? What's wrong with royalty?!" She demands.

"No no no! That's not the problem. You see..." Confess your feelings already, you coward. Be a man, "Autumn...I really like you. Alot. I've like you for years. I just kinda wished the feeling was... Mutual. I'm sorry."

"Luke...I-I don't know what to say. I'm sorry...I need to go think for awhile about this. Excuse me." She hugs me and leaves in a hurry. I hear our sliding backdoor shut and know she's gone to the lillypond in the backyard. She didn't seem to take it that well...sigh. I'm so stupid. I should've told her sooner. Before all this complication...
