Royce and I slept the rest of the night and a little into the morning before Caitlyn woke us up.

"Come on! You have to talk to your parents!"

"Yeah, yeah! I'm up! I am up!"

"Then hurry! I want to marry you as soon as possible!"

"The wedding isn't for a few days! I made sure to plan for this!"

"I still need a dress! So do you! Royce and whomever he loves need tuxes as well!"

"You are so right! Royce! Rise and shine!"

"Ok, ok. Let's go!"

We quickly got dressed and made our way to the throne room, where my parents are most likely lurking, and ran in. The guards pointing their stick things at us.

"Darling! You're home! The wedding is still on!"

"It is still on on one condition!"

"And what is that? Hmm?"

"That we get to marry whom we choose!"

"Never. We are doing this to combine our kingdoms!"

"We still have Princess Diana and Prince Leonaddo! They can marry!"

"They won't be King and Queen!"

"Then Royce and I can rule side by side! We don't need to be married to rule a kingdom, Mother!"

"Who do you want to marry, anyway?"

"I want to marry Caitlyn, Mother."

"Your handmaiden? And who says she wants you back?"

"I do. I asked her last night."

"How dare you go against our orders-"

"No! How dare you ignore my feelings for some political reason that can be changed! You are not a Queen anymore! I am! I decide what happens when! And I am marrying her!"

"Fine. You and Royce may rule by each other's sides. But you may not marry Caitlyn in two days time."

"How dare you-"

"Let me finish! You will marry as soon as your dresses are made. I do not like the fact that you want to marry her, but you are correct in saying that I am not the Queen any longer. Does Royce have any marriage requests?"

"Yes. Carellios from Yorteska."

"How far did you both travel?"

"All of the kingdoms we got reach."

"I think your determination is a good enough reason for you to marry the people you chose. You have a week before the wedding. Get measured and fitted. The portraits will be put together into one big portrait to show the joining of our kingdoms. Your siblings will still be married, so we have a successor to the throne and other things."

"Makes sense. Now go fetch Carellios, and I'll get Caitlyn for the wedding!"

And we got fitted, and everything was perfect. We got all of the bridesmaids, our close girl relatives, and the groomsmen, all our close guy relatives, and had the parties accordingly.

Our bachelorette party was the bomb! We went to the bar and got wasted and had a few laughs before the slumber party. We did all of the sleepover festivities, including chatting about gossip from our kingdoms before actually sleeping.

I never did find out how they got here so quickly. Oh! They were coming for the original wedding that was postponed for this one! I forgot.

I just hope the wedding is as perfect as Caitlyn herself.
