Jack picked Katherine up and put her on the horse behind him. He climbed up and grabbed the reigns.

"I don't know if I wanna go back" she told him.

"Why not?" He asked calmly.

"I can't... I don't wanna get married" she said burying her face in his shoulder.

"What do you wanna do about it?" He asked.

"I don't know" she sobbed "I don't know at all" she sighed .

Jack stopped the horse and got off and then brought her down, they were near a creek in the woods.

"Katherine, I may not be the best person ever I get that I really do! Trust me I'm an asshole" he said and she giggled softly.

"And there's not much a guy like me can give  a princess that she doesn't have" he said. "But, if you marry me" he said clutching her hands "I can be your best friend"

She titled her head and listened to him closely to see what else he was going to say.

"I can be the best husband any princess could ever want, and I could be so good to you that no one could compare. And we can be happy" he told her. "We can have dogs and cats and babies one day of you want"

"We can make so many new good changes for schools and people and health care"

A single tear rolled down her cheek and he came closer to her "we both deserve to be happy and I think I could make you really happy. And you could make me really happy" he said.

"Please" he whispered softly as he moved closer.

"Yes" she spoke softly and he gently cupped her chin and kissed her. She held his other hand and kissed him back softly.

He pulled away from her and kissed her forehead then picked her up, put her on the horse and sat in from to lead the back.

When they arrived back the staff went to them and Jack gave them the Medda look.

A look his mother gave to him often when he was getting on her nerves.

Katherine was asleep in his arms and maids were coming to help. "Let her sleep" jack said as they followed . "Let Her Sleep!" He whisper shouted and they all walked back slowly.

Clara changed her in a nightgown and got some of the cuts clean and dirt off of her and then jack laid her in bed again.

"Good night" he said kissing her forehead and walking out of the room.

Katherine woke up with a warm blanket around her and closed curtains.

She threw her robe on and looked out the window, there were tons of photographers outside trying to sneak photos, more than usually.

"Close them" Clara said and she did just so. "Every since your- since last night there have been many cameras here. One maid leaked it to the press that you ran out of your fitting"

"Where's Jack?" She asked.

Clara smiled "in his room, he's taking breakfast in there, Medda and your father are talking with a a spokesperson for the royal family"

"Oh" Katherine said she didn't bother putting on slippers and just walked out of her bedroom in her robe and white nightgown.

She opened Jack's door and saw him with a pot of coffee and an iPad in his hands.

"Good morning" she said softly and sat down across from in at the  couch.

"Good morning" he smiled "how are you feeling?" He asked.

"Okay I guess" she replied and he shut off his ipad "yourself ?"

"Alright" he said "I have a meeting today with my uncle" he said.

"Oh when?" She asked and he looked at his watch.

"In half an hour, I have to leave the palace to do so... I should leave right now" he said standing up.

"Well I'll see you later than" she replied standing up.

Jack cupped her chin and kissed her lips softly. "I'll see you" and she blushed as he walked out.
