If there was anyway to wake up prince hair gel aka Jack better than throwing a bucket of water on his face Davey would surely do that, but alas there was not one... yet...

"Get up!" He yelled throwing the cold water on the sleeping prince.

"What the fuck do you want? It's morning!" He groaned grabbing the clean dry pillow to the side of him.

"Jack it's 12:30 in the afternoon, Katherine needs you in the hall to help her pick out stuff for the engagement party tomorrow" Davey reminded him while opening the curtains.

"Nope!" Jack then buried himself under the blankets and held onto the bar of the bed.

Davey threw the blankets off and tugged at the soon to be king's feet trying to pull him from the bed. "I'm. Not. Losing. My. Job. Because. You're. A. Sleeping. Teenager. Who. Stayed . All. Night . On. Your. Damn. X-Box!" Davey said pulling harder after each word.

"I was not on my X-box, I was watching porn!" Jack laughed from his bed.

"That's worse" Davey said under his breath "you're hopeless" he sighed and then there was a knock at the door.

Davey smoothed his vest and opened it to see Clara, standing there with her glasses on her nose.

"Katherine and his majesty Joesph as well as her majesty Medda are awfully worried about Prince Jack, he was suppose to be down two hours ago" she replied.

"I'm sorry he's being an overly emotional teenage emo right now" Davey said throwing shade at the young ruler.

"Katherine is like that - wait isn't he 21?" She asked.

"What's you're point?" He laughed "would you like to help?"

"Sure" she smiled and came in the room.

They both grabbed the blankets off of him and threw it to the ground then she grabbed a brush near by and tickled his arm pits.

He laughed and tried to get them to stop until he fell on his back off the bed and Davey threw water on him.

"Wake up!" They yelled at the same time and she looked at Davey.

"Thank you" he smiled.

"You're welcome, jack please make sure you come down stairs soon" she replied and walked out.

"You heard her lets go!" Davey told him as Jack flipped him off.

Katherine was sighing as she looked out the window, her father and Jack's mother where currently looking over China for the dinner tomorrow.

Katherine had a cup of tea in one hand and a random plate in the other, acting like she was doing something.

The door opened and Jack came in, slacks ironed, shirt buttoned expect for those two at the top, and hair combed, gum in his teeth and a "I'm only here because I have to be here" look.

"There's my boy" his mother said, her red hair flowing as she turned her head.

"Good morning- errr, afternoon Mom" he said hugging her.

She kissed his cheek then rubbed the lipstick off of it with her hand and he shook hands with Joseph.

"Good afternoon your majesty" he said.

"Good afternoon your highness" Joseph replied.

Katherine waited from him to say hello to her yet he never did. Angrily she "dropped" a plate on the floor. "Oops" she said half heartedly.

As their parents were looking at floral arrangements Katherine was sitting on a settee with her flats off on the floor and her book in her lap.

"Whatca' reading?" Jack asked popping up behind her.

"Oh lord!" Katherine said jumping "gosh jack must you sneak up on me like that?" She asked as he came around the seat and sat on the other side.

"I'm bored and Davey took my phone" he smirked.

"Then go help" she shooed him off.

"No what are you reading?" He asked.

"Just a -"

"The Selection by Kira Cass ?" He said with a laugh and the book in his hands.

"Hey!" She said grabbing it back "it's not funny and it's a beautiful story" she replied.

"My old girlfriend liked that book, something about a prince looking for a gorgeous girl to marry and one who was good in bed" he said smirking.

"I like it because it's about a young woman fighting for what she believes in and not tearing down other based on their looks!" She shot him a glance "and unlike you Maxon actually treats his bride to be with respect" she snapped.

"Unlike Katherine, America isn't some little kid" he said, she glared at him then stomped off.

He rolled his eyes and sat down on the settee to himself.
