Chapter 2
Aurelia stares at the dark forest that surrounded the kingdom. It was closed off from anyone ever entering. She knew why, but it was the permanent annoyance of everyone treating her like she could break at any moment. Like the most delicate of flowers, she despises.
A knock sounded from the closed door. She rolled her eyes, sitting more comfortably as the silence came over the room again. Yes, she locked it, keeping the creature and everyone out.
But Aurelia let out a frightful scream as she felt the sudden creak of her closed closet door open. With her hand on her chest, she turn glaring at the man she hated from the very moment she saw him.
He stops his movement, two dresses in hand as he cluelessly glances at her for a full second before going back to his search.
"You got to be kidding me" Aurelia shouted her hate fisting her hands at her side "have you any respect, no man is to enter a lady's room without her permission, an unmarried woman at that" she huffed with her glare on his back, he didn't stop what he was doing nor acknowledge her.
"What mannerless creature you are" she began to say but stop as he looked at her coldly before placing the dress he pick out on the bed.
"I knocked" he spoke taking her off-guard at the sudden note of his voice. it held Aurelia's attention, leaving her breathless, the foreign feeling of wanting to hear it again.
She cleared her throat pushing down that confusion of feelings, glaring straight at him.
"Well I don't care the slightest, just get out," Arelia said firmly turning her attention back to the window but she never felt him leave even as the seconds turn to minutes he stayed.
"Are you perhaps deaf sir" she questioned him wasting no moment of glaring.
Lord Oberon stares at the little princess before him, her anger only amusing. He never once face a lady who was hotheaded or easily angered like her for all the ladies only tend to flirt and bat their eyes at him.
It made him uncomfortable even the idea of being in the presence of one but she strangely calm him in a way. In a way, he doesn't understand
Aurelia stomped her feet frustrated like a child who didn't get what they wanted. She never usually acts like this but the tight hold grip on her chest was driving her to anger.
She blackout for a second feeling the tight let loose grip on her waist, a sudden warmth spread across her chest it caught her off-guard that she fell out of the grip.
She was shocked to feel life in her chest the feeling so foreign yet so nice. Her head whipped around meeting his emerald eyes that tend to brighten when he looked at her.
Her only emotion came through, the anger is intense that she avoided his waiting hand.
"Don't you dare touch me again", she shouted "ever".
He stood straight hand at his sides, staring at her still on the floor. Although she shouted her command at him, he ignored lifting her bridal style and then carried her to the bathroom.
She surprisingly froze at his sudden gesture, the confusing mark on her face when he place her on the bathroom plush mat.
"dinner," he said turning away only to disappear from her sight and hopefully from her life. The door slammed shut knocking her backward further into the bathroom.
His single saying word became a blur command, going over her head. She had no intention to invite the warmth spread of her family. It made her cringe especially at her mother who pretends to say the most unrealistic things yet she treats her like a monster.
Aurelia approaches the mirror staring dead at herself in the glass watching the anger as it slowly went. She quickly looks away not wanting to see herself any longer, hating the shine of her hair and the dullness of her eyes.
"What am I doing here again?" She mumbled under her breath as she stared at the bath uninterested. Releasing a breath she walks back to the door attempting to open it but it only seems to click more locks.
"What kind of sorcery is this?" She attempted to pull again but it clicks another lock. "Let me out you vile creature" she screams cursing, even more, the anger that vanishes returns once again. How could a simple lock on the door turn to a dozen?
With no answer to her screams, she felt her body heat up the more she stood there. The more she felt the sudden pain increase throughout her chest.
Unknowingly the faucet slowly turn on, the quite sound of water running matching her harsh breathing
