*Sonic's POV*
"Shadow...?" I said as I saw he was starting to fall asleep once the movie ended. "The movie ended." I was blushing and I knew it since we were close to each other. His head was resting back but he was still holding me.

He hummed then yawned and stretched, letting go of me. "What?" He looked down at us and stopped what he was about to say. "Uhm. Right." He nodded and waited for me to get up so he could stand up.

"I have a question." I hesitated but said it anyways. He was picking up the trash we had left behind from the food so he wasn't looking at me. He didn't say a word but I knew he was listening. "Are you... being this way because of my family or because you like me...?"

He stopped walking but remained silent.

"If it's because of my family, then like I said before, I don't want you to treat me any different because of my title... But... I just want you to know... I think I like you, Shad." I was looking down at the floor now and closed my eyes. "I dont expect you to have the same feeling but I just thought you should know!" I blurted out.

"Stop talking." Shadow interrupted and threw out the trash. He shook his head. "Hedgehog, I'm not used to any of this." He confessed. My ears pinned down as I looked up again. "So don't push it. I'm already trying my best."

"A-alright..." I said and he nodded.

"I'll see you tomorrow then." He walked to the door then stopped at the door handle. "Dont tell anyone about this. Not yet, at least. Give me time."

I nodded with a big smile making him stare at me for a couple of seconds then he left.

Was I... dating Shadow the Hedgehog...?

S: Will you talk to Rouge?

Sh: What?

S: I know she helps you out a lot, and this is new to you. This is new to me too.

Sh: No.

S: I think you should.

Sh: I think you should go with the fox and get your head checked out.

S: You're mean.
S: It's just.
S: I know she'll bother you but she's always been there for you and she knows best how to help you. I'm barely getting to truly know you.

Sh: I don't think so.

S: You don't have to. But I don't care who you tell.

Sh: You don't?

S: No. But I'll keep quiet for you.

Shadow didn't answer back.

*Shadow's POV *
I put my phone down, hesitating to say anything but I saw Rouge was done with what she had to do for work so I decided it was best. I was new to these kinds of things and wasn't even completely sure if I actually had these feelings.

"Bat." I called out. "I need your help." I regretted that immediately.  Her head spun to look at me so quick, and she was even faster to reach me.

"What is it?" Her smile was very big and she looked very surprised too.

I stood up and walked to the windows and looked out at the forest, looking down at my phone to see if Sonic texted me again. "I think." I stopped, I was rethinking this, not sure if it was a good idea.

"Whats going on?" She walked closer since she noticed I didn't want anyone to hear and sat on my desk, one of her legs touching the floor. The door to our office was closed and I always made sure there were no cameras.

"Sonic likes me." I said and she laughed.

"Of course he does, Hun. That's why he's always bothering you, you need to let him be your friend for once." I could hear her messing around with the stapler.

"No." I stopped and took a deep breathe. "He has feelings for me." I still wasn't looking at her but I heard as she almost fell from my desk.

"He does?" She raised her voice then covered her mouth. "He does?" She asked quieter this time and I nodded.

"I think I like him too." I said quickly as I messed with my gloves, unsure of what to do.

"That's not funny, you shouldn't mess around with-" She stopped once she saw how nervous I looked. "Holy chaos, you actually do like him, don't you, Hun?" I slowly nodded.

"I think I do. I'm not sure..." I rubbed my face in frustration. "All I know is that I can't stop thinking of him and I actually let him get close enough to hug me. I don't feel hatred towards him anymore but I don't know... I don't know what to do." 

"Have you asked him out?" She said then suddenly shook her head and stopped. "Wait. Wait. Wait. Since when do you see him enough to let him hug you?" I remained calm at that question.

"After the day you made me spend with him, he wanted me to watch a movie with him and I had agreed that day since I was trying to figure out what he was hiding. I went and then front there we started talking, he wasn't bothering me as much so I agreed to see him the next morning for breakfast." I lied and she nodded.

"Have you asked him out?" She repeated and I shook my head. "Alright then. He already confessed to you, so the hard part is over. Go to the store and get some flowers and go see him."

"Bat." I gave her a glare but she crossed her arms.

"Make it right for him. A relationship is hard and there's things you don't want to do but they're worth it. You need to, Shadow. You've never liked someone and Sonic isn't someone who would break your heart. Get some flowers and ask him out." I knew she was right but I wasn't sure. "Whats bothering you?"

"I'm going to mess it up." I sat down on my chair and she rubbed my shoulder.

"You won't, Shadow. Just give it a try." With that said, I slowly nodded, agreeing with her.
