*Sonic's POV *
(2 months later)
"Shadow...?" I whispered as I woke up in the middle of the night. Shadow had his arms around me as we slept, my belly was big now and it made it impossible for me to run or defend myself so I always spend the whole day at our house. We had both sold our houses and bought a bigger one, with more security and a bigger yard, closer to the city since we wanted for our pups to be able to make friends easily.

I had woken up because I had felt uneasy and scared. I felt like someone was watching us sleep. I sat up concerned as I glanced around the room but it was very dark. I couldn't see anything. That is until I saw a pair of white eyes staring at me from the corner of the room.

"Sh-Shadow!" I yelled as I watched as Fleetway launched at me. I moved my arms in front of me hoping to protect myself but Fleetway got on top of me.

He was soon on the floor as Shadow immediately woke up and kicked him off. Shadow had no time to check on me as he started attacking Fleetway on the floor and as I was about to get up and grab my phone to call the others, I was suddenly trapped on a glass cage.

"What the-" I hit the glass and looked behind me as Eggman laughed out the windows and ordered Metal to take me.

"Sonic!" Shadow yelled as he tried to get closer to me but Fleetway punched him in the face and made him get back into the fight.

I was being dragged off by Metal as I could hear Shadow shout out for me. "Let me go!" I punched the glass but couldn't even make a scratch.

"I would stop if I were you. All this stress isn't good for the pregnancy." Eggman smirked.

It was a while before I noticed that we weren't heading to the lab, he instead took me to a bunker where he left me in a dark room. I couldn't help but feel scared and confused on to what Eggman was planning.

"What do you want to let me go?" I decided to ask. Soon the lights turned on and the glass cage opened to set me free.

I didn't recognize where I was but it looked like a house. There was a door which was opened and lead to a fully functional bathroom and shower. There was a kitchen, a table, a couch, a bed. I realized what was going on now, they were going to leave me here.

"What do you want?!" I shouted this time. I couldn't see where they were at until suddenly I realized there were speakers on the ceiling. The walls were not wood or brick but a stronger material. There were 'windows' which I was sure was where they were watching me since I didn't see anything through them.

"This is what you get for telling the world who you were, Sonic." Eggman sounded from the speaker system. "Fleetway came to me with this plan. I get rid of you and that pup of yours by keeping you here, you won't be able to stop me anymore." He laughed. "And Shadow and your family will die trying to find you. They'll do anything for you, like give their royal status to someone like us to get you back."

My ears pinned down and I rubbed mg stomach feeling the twins kick. Eggman didn't know there were two of them.

"They will never do that." I chuckled trying not to freak out.  "And I will find a way out of here, Egghead."

"Oh really? Because you can barely move and I know you will do anything to keep that pup safe. I control everything here and I know you're almost due. After it's born, you'll do anything to keep it alive. I finally have you." He laughed then turned off the system.

I growled and punched the window. "Let me out of here!" I yelled but gave up after a while.

Time didn't work the same down here, there was no knowing if it was day or night or to see if Eggman was messing with me when he turned off the lights for 8 hours. We had a clock but I was unsure if it worked properly since Eggman or Fleetway had changed it back one day. I was unsure how many days had been and if anyone was even looking for me.

I hadn't seen Eggman or Fleetway since they trapped me in here and I wanted it to stay that way but I started to feel pain in my stomach and suddenly I knew I was going to need help. I was going into labor.

I knocked and knocked on the window until a camera appeared next to me. I was holding my stomach in pain and was crying as I tried to stay standing up. The pain was unimaginable and wished that Shadow was here beside me. I begged Eggman for help and he didn't even fight back. He sent in a doctor to help me but I was put to sleep before I could even move any more.

By the time I woke up, I couldn't move, my stomach felt sore and as I looked down, I saw I had gotten a c section to help deliver the pups. I started to panic when I didn't feel them beside me and froze when I saw Fleetway standing at the end of the bed holding both of them.

"Two of them?" He asked with a smirk. "This makes it so much better." He laughed and put them down on a crib then rolled it beside me. "Dont worry, we won't hurt them." He said with a laugh still then walked away.

I let tears run down my muzzle and grabbed my pups, they were beautiful. It was a boy and a girl, the boy looked like Shadow but with blue stripes and with green eyes. The girl looked like me but with Shadow's eyes and red stripes. I couldn't help but hugged them tightly and close to me as I could. I cried, wishing Shadow was here to see them. I felt so alone and depressed.
