Sister Who?

Warning: if you are allergic to words such as heck or hell, then I pardon for accidentally tripping your wires. If you don't mind.... then proceed!

At this point, Jacob was annoying the heck out of me. After simply asking my place as his brother, he proceeded to try and act more superior than I was. Ignoring him, I stayed in my room the rest of the day. Once night fell, mostly everyone was inside, just in case something happened outside. Just outside my window, I saw something move. At first I thought it was some sort of dog, but then it changed, disappearing into the forest.

It's a Shadowed One I thought

Quickly changing, I put on some jeans and a simple T-shirt. Just so I would be noticed, I put on a black cloak, draping it over my shoulders. Pulling the hoodie over my head, I walked through the dark hallway, later bolting down the stairs. One I reached the outside. I followed the direction that I saw the black figure go through. It could've just been an animal, but you never know.

I soon found a small path, lined with recently broken twigs and fallen leaves. Just after a few minutes, I heard a shuffling nearby. Crouching behind a bush, I watched as the figure came back, looking around. Just as the person turned around, I reached forwards, grabbing the hoodie and  pulling it down.

Gasping, the figure turned around, her long brown hair glowing freely in the wind. I gasped too. It was Emily.

"What the heck are you doing here?" She said, anger filling her voice.

"I could ask you the same thing."

"Idiot."

"What did you say?"

"Forget it."

I knew this was my moment to shine. Grabbing her wrist, I turned her around so that our noses would touch.

"I- I.... s-stop that." I could tell she wasn't happy.

Crashing my lips on hers, I felt her flinch as our lips touched. After a short moment, she was pushing me away, muttering something about "not supposed to be doing this."

Just as I let go, she kind of drew away, like if I were some sort of disease.

"Relax.... it was only a few seconds." I said.

"Y- you kissed me..."

"Yes.... I did."

"Your not su- I'm not supposed to kiss you."

Sighing, I sat down on a log, looking up at her. I could tell she was still angry, even though she enjoyed the kiss.

"What are you going to do about it?" I asked, wanting to see her reaction.

She just stood there, looking into the distance.

"Prince Mike?"

"Yes..... Emily?"

"Why the hell did you kiss me?"

"Because..... I like you"

Wow. I never thought I would say that to a girl.

"You sure about that?" She asked, staring into my eyes.

Oh the view..... She reminded me of an angel. In fact, I think she was an angel, until she smacked me, right on the cheek.

"Show me you truly like me and aren't just playing around." She snarled, words caked with venom.

"Okay then." I said, standing up.

Pulling her into a hug, I tried my best to release all my emotions on her, thinking of how beautiful she looked. Then I sighed.

Lemons

Then, something rustled in the bushes. In just a second, something cold was placed around my neck. Judging on how thin the blade was, it was probably a dagger. Considering the angle it was held at though, the person had very little experience.  Quickly turning around, I grabbed the person's wrist and twisted it around. The person, who I supposed was a male, winced in pain, dropping the dagger.

"Who are you and why are you here?" I ask, switching to a monotone voice.

"M-my name is A-ardon"

His heart rate suddenly started to increase rapidly. I twisted his arm even more.

"OKAY Okay! My real name is Martov, and I came for the girl." He said still in pain.

He had no cloak on, but I could still tell that he blended in well. With rugged blond hair and lively green eyes, he almost beat my looks. Thing is, I already won the jackpot....

"Why do you need the girl?" I asked, holding on to her.

"Because, my master told me and he is on his way....with his minions."

With that, he loosened out of my grip and ran away, leaving me in confusion.

"Did that just happen?" Emily asked.

"I could prove it by kissing you." I replied.

"Jerk."

"What?"

"Nothing....."

At one point, we were bickering so loudly that neither of us noticed the sound of horses coming our way.

"Looks like someone finally has a girlfriend." A gruff voice said.

Both our heads whipped around to face the stranger.

"Who are you?" She snarled, something  she was getting very good at.

"Aww. You don't remember me?"

"What? No!" Both Emily and I were confused.

"Oh Emily... you've changed so much. I remember when you were just a little tadpole. My little tadpole." He said, dismounting his horse and walking towards us.

Then I smelled what I never though I would never smell again. Death. It didn't reek, but it sent shivers down my spine. When I was little, right when my mother went missing, Jacob's father did too. Years later, we were told by a man that he was dead. The man, he smelled just like the goon in front of me. Thinking back on it, Death was the scent of a pure Shadowed One.

"Wait.....stop."

Still holding on to Emily, I backed up, pulling her behind me.

"What's wrong?" He asked

Slight amusement was plastered across the boys face, complimenting his black hair and purple eyes.

"You.... You're a Shadowed One aren't you?

He chuckled.

"And? That doesn't mean I can't spend time with my sister..."
