Third Person's Point of View

After a night of a lot of thinking, Chanyeol found himself buying the whole mall for Baekhyun for a day. Why? Because the certain tall man was up all night trying to search of better ways to discipline a kid that is definitely not in wikiHow. He then jot down notes and the thing he noticed was his and Baekhyun's relationship. Their start wasn't good and neither is their present so Chanyeol wanted Baekhyun to somehow open up to him just so maybe... Just maybe disciplining Baekhyun would be much easier.

"Are you sure this isn't an apology for almost firing Lucas yesterday?" Baekhyun eyes Chanyeol after pulling his lollipop out of his mouth.

"Nope, I'm just bored—

"So you rented the whole mall for a day? Jeez Park, you spend money worse than I do." Baekhyun joked and started roaming around the mall.

Before Baekhyun can move an inch, a loud voice and footsteps were heard.

"Baekhyuuuuunnnniiiieee!" Luhan shouts and Chanyeol sees Baekhyun's face lit up after seeing Luhan and Kyungsoo.

"Hey Baek." Kyungsoo smiled at Baekhyun and hugged him.

"So let me guess, Chanyeol forced you two to help me shop, right?" Baekhyun asked the both of them but they shook their heads

"More like we were invited and we were willing to help you shop because we are Shopping Goddesses." Luhan claps his hands and before Chanyeol could move an inch, the three friends ran to the Gucci shop.

Baekhyun's Point of View

I was not that stupid to know that Chanyeol was just doing this as an apology but what makes me feel guilty is that it wasn't really his fault that he got angry. I did something wrong so if he rented this whole area for a day, then I should also treat him a thing or two.

While Luhan and Kyungsoo were looking for a turtleneck that suits me, I made my way towards Chanyeol who was on his phone scrolling on Instagram.

"Uhh... Here." I reached out my black card to him but I think he doesn't understand

"You can use this to also buy yourself something and this also serves as an apology for getting you angry two days ago and the days before that." I shyly said because I wasn't really the type of person who says sorry....

Chanyeol smiles at me and tells me, "It's fine Baek, I think I was being too harsh on you but that was against the rules and I don't like it when someone breaks it." Chanyeol explained and pushed my card away from him.

'Normally he would get this chance to keep it to prevent me from buying everything but... What's this?'

"Let me atleast buy you some casual outfits Yeol. Aren't you tired of always wearing a suit? You're at a mall right now Chanyeol. Not a meeting so just let loose a little." I laughed because he was literally dressed like he was going to an office.

"I'm fine with—" Before he could finish I cut him off

"Agree or we're going home." I glared at him and he laughed.

"Are you the boss of me?" He asked me and I was still acting all serious and I crossed my arms

"Okay fine but after you buy something." He stood up and I pulled him towards Luhan and Kyungsoo.

"So I found this pink turtleneck but we thought that this brown turtleneck suits you better." Luhan gives it to me and I uttered a thanks before looking at Chanyeol.

"Hey guys, help me find some casual clothes for Chanyeol." Luhan and Kyungsoo laughed

"Finally, Chanyeol's getting casual clothes." Kyungsoo jokes and I grinned

"I do have casual clothes... I just don't wear them." Chanyeol replied and I can see that he also knows that we were only joking.

"Well then, let's start."

After a few hours of buying Chanyeol clothes plus a few more hours of buying Luhan and Kyungsoo's things and a few more hours of buying our beauty products which Chanyeol could not relate to, we were off to the salon to get our hair colors and hairstyles changed.

A few more hours and we were finished. Even Chanyeol changed his hair color. I don't want to admit it but it made him look hotter than usual.

Our looks:

Luhan changed his from a jet black hair to a soft brown

Kyungsoo changed his red hair to a golden brown

Chanyeol with his red swept back hair
'Dang he looks like a total daddy'

But I'm still the hottest

"We've all got some good glow-ups but Chanbaek had the greatest." Kyungsoo admits and Luhan agreed

"Chanbaek?" Chanyeol asked

"Oh it's our ship name for you two. Chanyeol and Baekhyun , Chanbaek." I thought Chanyeol was going to disagree with this silly idea but.

"I like it, sounds nice." I don't know why but I feel my cheeks heating up. Why the fuck is it so hot in here?

"Hey Baek are you blush—"

"Let's get going cus' it's getting very hot over here." I cut Kyungsoo and speed walked towards a random way.

Third Person's Point of View

Luhan and Kyungsoo quickly followed Baekhyun and they just missed Chanyeol's small smile as he saw get flustered.

"So what are you guys getting?" Luhan asked them as they were eyeing the different food stalls in the food court.

"I'll go there." Kyungsoo pointed at the food stall that sells rice cakes, ox bone soup and ramen.

"Me too. How about you two?" Kyungsoo asked Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

"I'll be at that store." Chanyeol quickly points out the food stall that sells bulgogi, japchae and bibimbap.

They all looked at Baekhyun who was busy eyeing the stores. This was definitely a new experience for Baekhyun since he never got to be a normal kid and always ate continental food. The only Korean food he knows is Kimchi fried rice.

"Baekhyun.... Byun.... Baek." Chanyeol taps Baekhyun's shoulder getting him out of his thoughts

"Hmm? Oh.... Uhhh...... I actually don't know anything here...." Baekhyun's voice gets quieter at the last sentence and looks down with reddening cheeks not ready to face any kind of embarrassment.

"Don't worry, we'll help you!" Luhan and Kyungsoo beamed and so did Baekhyun.

'Is this really what having real friends feel like? Because this sure damn is nice having people who really want to get close to me not because of my status or profile' Baekhyun thought to himself.

After some minutes of introducing Baekhyun to the foods with the help of Luhan, Kyungsoo and Chanyeol, Baekhyun sees himself buying all of it.

"Uhh Baek don't you think you bought too much?" Kyungsoo awkwardly laughs seeing so many main dishes, side dishes, stew, soup and kimchi.

"Nope, this is just enough for all of us." Baekhyun says and beams with joy at all of the food in the table.

He rubs his hands and licked his lips making him look like an excited kid to Chanyeol.

"But Baekkie I just started my diet today~!.... Never mind, I'll just start next year." Luhan whines and they all laugh and started digging in.

After hours of eating, they look at Baekhyun who just came back from the rice cake stall holding his fourth ddukbokki (spicy rice cake).

"Jeez Baek, for a fit person, you sure are a big eater... and a mystery." Kyungsoo tells Baekhyun shocked at how much Baekhyun's been eating.

"Hey, it's not my problem that the foods are delicious." Baekhyun shrugs his shoulders and started eating again.

All of them are already full except for Baekhyun who keeps on buying food using Chanyeol's money and Chanyeol can just feel his money running out.... Jk he's too rich

What caught Chanyeol's eyes were the sauce on the side of his lips. Before Baekhyun could ask for a tissue, Chanyeol carefully places his hand on Baekhyun's cheek and uses his thumb to wipe away the sauce before getting a tissue and wiping his thumb.

For the third time, Baekhyun blushes.

"It's too spicy! Hoo!" Baekhyun exaggerates and Chanyeol quickly gives him a cup of water while Kyungsoo and Luhan were just quietly watching their favorite Korean drama in front of them.

Baekhyun fortuitously holds Chanyeol's hand instead of holding the cup letting Chanyeol's hands stretch out to help Baekhyun drink. When Baekhyun realizes that their hands are entangled, he quickly lets go of it and luckily Chanyeol had a tight grip on it. He stood up and excused himself to the comfort room. As he got there, he stands against the wall and holds his chest.

"I probably have a heart problem." Baekhyun thinks as this feeling was very foreign to him but whatever it is, he doesn't want the ecstatic but warm feeling on his chest to leave anytime.

"Bye guys! Thanks for the ride home!" Kyungsoo thanks the both of the as he exits Chanyeol's car and gets dropped of at his house. Earlier Luhan was also dropped home.

Now that both is gone, it's only Chanyeol and Baekhyun left with an awkward silence.

"So... Did you enjoy today?" Chanyeol asks Baekhyun who was just looking outside the window enjoying the scenery of the city in front of him.

"Of course!- I mean.... yeah, I did. It just made me realize that I've got so much to learn about the world." Baekhyun states

"Well, it's good to know that you enjoyed and I just observed how your attitude improved." Chanyeol tells Baekhyun

"I don't really feel a change but it just feels nice being surrounded by real people." Baekhyun honestly speaks his thoughts.

"What do you mean by real people?" Chanyeol asks Baekhyun with a questioning look in his face.

"Since I was a kid, I've experienced a lot of people just trying to get close to me because I'm the prince, I'm rich and I have a high status and it really irks me. There's so many hypocrites and people who treat me like I'm really really vulnerable always surrounding me with guards and all of the security and even putting a tracker in some of my clothes- like what you did before- or maybe you're still doing it right now. I just sometimes wish to be a normal teen for a week and know what it's like to use public transportation, go out with my friends without paparazzis, have no security with me and be able to cross a road without fearing for anyone who would kidnap me or something like that. That's why I also escape back in the castle. Yeah it's my home and I love it but I've only got my cousins to hang out with and it's always too quiet. Dad's with investors while my mom is monitoring the country and all of that. Well, there's Alfred who's my butler and also my best friend but besides them this is the first time I really got to experience so many things." Baekhyun's ted talk made Chanyeol change his mind about Baekhyun

Yes Baekhyun had a bit of trouble with handling money and drinking habits but then Baekhyun just never got to be a normal teen. Unlike him, he did have some paparazzis since his parents are close friends with Baekhyun's parents but never really had that much of bad experience with people and never really feared for his life and had that kind of security. It just that Baekhyun's been misunderstood and now, Chanyeol wants to help Baekhyun experience so many things.

"And maybe I did change for the better and that's because I have a good master." The car abruptly stops and Chanyeol blushes at Baekhyun's statement. 

The smaller didn't fail to notice the redness of Chanyeol's cheeks and smirked.

"Is my Channie blushing just because i called him master?" Baekhyun pouted and Chanyeol started to drive again.

Baekhyun scoots closer to Chanyeol with his breath ghosting on Chanyeol's right ear sending tingles towards the taller's spine.

"Or is my master thinking of dirty thoughts?" Baekhyun says in a sly voice and bit Chanyeol's ear teasing him.

"Not now you midget, I'm still driving damn you." Chanyeol holds Baekhyun's face and pushes him away making Baekhyun laugh his ass out at Chanyeol's state.

"Hey Chanyeol, thanks for today. I really appreciate it." Baekhyun softly smiles at Chanyeol who smiled back softly

"No biggie Hyun, I also needed a day off and you also gave me some presents so I enjoyed it myself." Chanyeol grins showing his pearly white teeth

"Well I'm going to sleep now." Chanyeol was caught off guard when Baekhyun suddenly hugs him and buries his face on his chest leaving a warm sensation flush Chanyeol's system.

Chanyeol plays with Baekhyun's hair and kisses his forehead.

"Get a goodnight sleep tonight my prince. We'll have a busy day tomorrow." Baekhyun nods and detached himself from Chanyeol and both of them felt a bit disappointed but nonetheless both muttered goodnight and fell asleep.

The smile on their faces were etched until the morning and the both of them got a good sleep.
