Thank you for your help mate! As to my readers... Emjoy!

Kazuto and Asuna soon arrived at a warehouse.

"Why are we here, Kirito-kun?" Asuna asked. "I thought that we were going to be meeting Detective Kikuoka at a restaurant."

"He told me to come here with you," Kazuto told her. "He said that it was important."

They walked into the warehouse at a brisk pace, and when they saw an agent standing there.

"Mr. Kikuoka has been waiting for you, Kirigaya-san, Yuuki-san," the agent stated. "Follow me."

As the teens followed the agent, Kazuto asked, "Who are you? Why are we here?"

"My name is of none of your concern, Kirigaya-san," the agent replied. "As to why you are here, Mr. Kikuoka was tipped off 3 hours ago about this warehouse. He brought a group of men here, and what we found was... unexpected."

The agent didn't say anything else, which made Kazuto and Asuna anxious about what they would find. They followed the agent down the long corridor before they arrived at a door.

"Kikuoka wanted me to warn you that you won't like what you'll see here," the agent warned. "Please be careful not to break anything. This is a crime scene."

Kazuto and Asuna looked at one another in confusion, but nodded anyway. The agent opened the door and led the young couple into a room with dozens of computers and a large pod shaped object, filled with liquid that reminded Kazuto of the regen tanks in Dragon Ball Z. But it was what was in the pod that made the two freeze. Asuna in terror and Kazuto in anger.

"What the hell is this!?" Kazuto shouted, his eyes filled with rage.

"This is your daughter Yui," Kikuoka stated, wanting to temper the swordsman's anger. Asuna fell to her knees in tears at the sight of her daughter in the pod.

"Open it up, damn it!" Kazuto shouted. "Get my daughter out of there!"

"We've tried, Kazuto," Kikuoka sighed. "It won't open."

"What do you mean it won't open?" Kazuto asked, his fists clenched.

"It is locked mechanically, Kirito," Kikuoka replied. "We have no way to open it. Along with the fact that the glass is bulletproof, I am afraid that we cannot open it."

"Ah but you can," a voice said from the computer monitors. "Hello everyone, and to you my son. It's been a few days since we last talked."

Everyone looked at the monitors and saw Kayaba's face on the screens.

"K-Kayaba!?" Kikuoka exclaimed.

"I thought that Rinko told you that I was alive, Detective?" Kayaba asked Kikuoka, before turning to his favorite couple. "Hello my son and my daughter-in-law. How have you two been?"

"Father," Kazuto spoke, his expression serious. "How are you doing?"

"For a dead man?" Kayaba asked. "Pretty good. Now then, let me tell you this, only one of you can open the pod. But you must say your name, your full name." Kayaba looked at Kazuto. "Do you know your name, my son? If so, say it loud and clear into the microphone near me. I'm sure Rinko has already slipped up a few times, but then, I don't blame her. I nearly called you your biological name the few times I saw you in Sword Art Online."

Kazuto walked up to the microphone and said, in a clear voice, "Kenshi Akihiko, Dual-Bladed Swordsman also known as Kirito."

"Voice recognized," a female voice spoke. "Welcome Kenshi-sama. I am Cardinal. What would you like to do?"

"Open up the pod," Kazuto stated. "I want my daughter back. And send all the information you have on the World Seed as well as the scientists that were working under my father," Kazuto looked at the computer screen. "Kayaba Akihiko."

"Action recognized," Cardinal stated. "Pod opening."

The water drained out of the pod and it opened up with a slight hiss. Asuna then ran towards the pod and caught her daughter before the child hit the ground.

"You are welcome Kazuto," Kayaba smiled at his son. "We'll talk again later. In the meantime, be with your family."

Before the screens turned off, Kazuto said, "Goodbye father. And thank you."

Kayaba gave a small smile and the screens went blank. Kazuto turned back to his girlfriend/wife and their child.

Asuna had tears in her eyes as she gazed at her daughter for the first time in the real world.

"Yui," she muttered as she moved some of Yui's hair out of her face. "Mama's here Yui. Please wake up."

Yui stirred a little in her sleep as she latched her hands onto her Mama's shirt. "Mama," the child whispered, with a small smile.

"Let's get her to a hospital," Kazuto said, walking up to them. "I'll text mom and Aunt Midori about this telling them that we'll be home tomorrow at the earliest."

Asuna nodded and slowly got up, Yui in her arms.

"I'll give you and Yui a ride to the hospital," Kikuoka said. "Kazuto can ride on his motorcycle."

"Okay," Asuna replied with a smile. "Thank you, Mr. Kikuoka. You have no idea how much this means to us."

"I think I do, Ms. Yuuki," Kikuoka replied.

Later, at the hospital

Yui was lying down in a bed with her eyes closed. Her vitals were stable, she was just resting at the moment.

"I'm glad she's okay!" Asuna exclaimed.

Kazuto agreed, "Me too."

Kazuto and Asuna sat down on a couch across from where Yui was resting. They held hands and watched Yui, making sure that no one disturbed her sleep.

"You're really overprotective of her, eh?" Kikuoka asked.

"Yes," Kazuto began, "She's my daughter."

Kikuoka couldn't help but to let out a little chuckle.

Kikuoka thought, 'I never thought he'd be like a dad.'

Asuna gave Kikuoka a death stare and played off the laugh as a cough. He left the room and shut the door behind him.

Asuna giggled, "He's so annoying."

"I agree," Kazuto laughed.

Kazuto and Asuna had a laugh about it and it awoke Yui.

"Where am I?" Yui asked.

Joy filled Asuna's heart that her daughter was alive and well. She ran over to Yui to give her a big hug.

"You're in a hospital after being put in a pod," Asuna explained.

Yui mumbled, "I see, that's why I found it weird that I awoke outside of the cabin."

Kazuto stated, "You're here and that's all that matters."

Kazuto walked over to the hospital bed and joined Asuna in hugging Yui. They were both so thankful that their daughter was alright and not in harm's way.

"Uh," Yui started, "You can let go now."

Kazuto and Asuna yelled, "Sorry."

"It's fine, I just have to figure out why I was brought here in a pod." Yui pondered.

Silence filled the room. Kazuto, Asuna, and Yui were trying to figure out what happened and who's responsible.

"I think I have an idea," Kazuto stated, "I remember Kikuoka saying that he couldn't join SAO because he was investigating scientists that were working with Kayaba."

Asuna asked, "Did he give any names?"

Kazuto replied, "He did not. We'd have to do research on who worked with Kayaba before he died."

"Do you know who they are, Yui?" Asuna inquired.

Yui explained, "No, those memories were somehow blocked off for me."

"Well you were young when you were put in the pod," Kazuto stated. "So it makes sense for you not to remember. What about any other memories?"

"I remember that I was kicked around and shoved into a dark room." Yui recalled.

Asuna's fists clenched, she didn't want to hear that.

Kazuto asked another question, "Do you remember what happened after that?"

Yui stated, "That's where the memories end."

Kazuto sighed and Asuna released the clenching of her fists.

'What other clues can we find?' Kazuto pondered.

Asuna reached over Yui's shoulder and lifted the back of her dress and there was a number imprinted along with a name that wasn't legible anymore.

"Kazuto," Asuna began, "I found a number."

Kazuto looked over Yui's shoulder and found the number.

It read, 'Test subject 993462.'

"What do you think we can do with this number?" Asuna asked.

"Must be something to do with Cardinal," Kazuto muttered, a few theories popping into his mind. "Or even the World Seed. But what it means, we'll find out. I can promise you that."

The doctor then walked in and asked, "How are you three doing?"

"Could be better," Kazuto replied. "Yui hasn't been up for long in case you are wondering."

The doctor nodded. "I suspected as much."

The doctor then looked at Yui.

"What is your name, young one?" he asked kindly.

"Yui," Yui introduced herself.

"Are these two your parents?" the doctor inquired.

Yui nodded happily.

"Excuse me for asking, but Ms. Yuuki," the doctor began after turning to Asuna and Kazuto. "The last time the nurses here checked up on you, you didn't have any stretch marks and your mother and father didn't say anything about a pregnancy. Nor did it pop up in any of your blood tests. So my question is, how did you two become the parents of this child?"

Asuna and Kazuto looked at each other. Immediately, they turned away. Kazuto opened his mouth and then got a bit flustered. Asuna smacked Kirito on the head.

Asuna started to explain. "We were in a forest on the 22nd floor of Aincrad and we rescued an orphan living in the forest."

"So, you were in Sword Art Online?" the doctor asked.

Asuna and Kazuto nodded.

"I see," the doctor muttered. "So Yui here was one of the 10,000 players and one of the 300 that didn't wake up when the game was cleared, correct?"

Kazuto scratched the back of his head.

"It's a bit more complicated than that," Kazuto stated. "But essentially yes."

The doctor nodded, he didn't want to put pressure on a teenager about the SAO incident.

"I'll be off," The doctor remarked, "If you need me, call me."

The doctor left and shut the door behind him. Now it was Kazuto and Asuna, with their daughter Yui. Yui then turned to look at her parents and asked, "Is Aunty Leafa here too? What about Grandma?"

Kazuto chuckled and explained, "Your Aunt is at home. While Grandma is having a talk with Kikuoka somewhere. But I'll give them a call and ask them to come alright?"

Yui nodded.

"Don't forget about the others Kirito-kun," Asuna reminded him.

Kazuto nodded and walked out of the room to make the call.

"What about your Mama and Papa?" Yui asked her mother.

"They are busy at the moment," Asuna said with a small smile. "But I'll tell them about you and you can visit them when they are not so busy, okay?"

Yui nodded happily.

A few minutes later, Kazuto walked back into the room and said, "Sugu and Kaa-san are going to be here soon. I messaged the others over the group chat saying that we need to meet up in a few days."

Yui smiled happily as the small family of three enjoyed their time together.
