Chapter Nine
Again

It has been one month since the mishap between the two lovers and now Jungkook was engaged to Park Chaeyoung (Rosé).

"Jungkook?"

To Jungkook's surprise, the girl was kind and humble. He was pleased when they had first met. She didn't like the prince as a husband as she already had a boyfriend but the queen scouted her for her beauty, status and kindness. She was told to break up with her boyfriend but she didn't listen.

"Yes?"

"You should go to Earth tomorrow. The wedding is in a week."

"Oh ok. I'll be going soon."

Jungkook wanted to go back to Earth to see his friends for the last time. In the future, he would be too busy to even think about going back. He could only hope that Lily would forgive him.

Elle

"Lily, you have to get up"

"No, just l-leave m-me alone!"

Lily had been cooped up in her room ever since she had come back from the vampire kingdom. She had told me about it when she got back and Skylar, Kyra and Dianna told us for the first time that they were also vampires.

Everyone had tried to get her out, even the boys but none of us were successful. In the night, we could hear her screams of 'Why am I so useless?', 'Why can't I help him?', and 'Why can't I love you?'. All we could do was hug and comfort her. The other girls and I were staying in my room but the boys couldn't stay as there was no more space.

"You've been in there for one whole month! You need to get up off your a** and go to school before I beat the living daylights out of you!"

"But-"

"Lily Avendale! You come out of that room right now!"

"Fine"

I heard a click before a blonde-haired Lily in purple pajamas came out with a fluffy purple blanket around her small frame.

"Wow, she came out of hiding"

"Leave me alone! I'm not in the mood"

"And it's our job to get you back in the mood"

"I left him Elle! He won't come back and he's probably found another girl"

"Just don't think about him. You need to go to school! So take a shower and get dressed cause you're filthy"

"Thanks for that" She rolled her eyes at me.

Lily

Through the month, the only thing on my mind was Jungkook and how I left him. I'm such a horrible person! I should have fought back.

Who am I kidding? I can't take on a vampire! She'd suck me dry!

I went into the bathroom, stripped my clothes and got in the shower. I turned on the shower and felt the semi hot water pelt down on me. I grabbed the shampoo and started lathering my blonde hair enough to get all the dirt out. I rinsed my hair gently, being careful not to tear out my hair. I did the same with the conditioner. I lathered myself with the coconut body wash I got from Elle last Christmas and washed myself off. I turned off the water, already missing the feeling of it on my skin. I stepped out and covered myself with my bathrobe. I went into my room and looked for an outfit in my closet. I finally found a large lavender sweatshirt, light blue ripped jeans and Adidas sneakers. I put my hair into a messy bun and wore my nerd glasses.

"Are you finished?! You take too damn long!"

"Yah!"

"Hurry up! We'll be late!"

"Fine!"

We drove into the school's parking lot and I could only wonder how it's become like this.

"See, isn't this nice?"

I looked at her with a glare that immediately shut her up.

"My bad!" We walked into the school and were greeted by Taehyung.

"Lily! You're back!" Taehyung said.

"Yea, so love being here" I tried to make it sound as sarcastic as possible since I didn't want to be here. It reminded me too much of him. Too many memories were in these hallways.

"Are you feeling any better?" Dianna said.

"Not really, but I'm trying to move on so......."

"We'll be right here if you need us"

Hoseok walked up to Dianna and kissed her on the cheek while wrapping his arms around her waist.

It always hurted me to see them together. I couldn't talk to Elle since she started going to Taehyung's house and Skylar was always with Yoongi. Every time everyone is together, I feel lonely since Jungkook isn't here.

Ring!

"We'll be going now"

They went before me since I still had some books to take out. I was about to take out my Chemistry book when I got turned and slammed into the locker beside mine.

"Hey Lily"

"Kookie?!"
