Chapter Four
Blood

Jungkook

Ever since that night, Lily's blood has been intoxicatingly sweet and the smell of it was driving me insane. I would never think of hurting her so I hunted animals to quench my thirst and to somehow get rid of my obsession with her blood.

I presume her friends only hunt animals too. I picked up on Kyra, Skylar and Dianna being vampires from the first day of school. They never smiled or ate at lunch and I couldn't hear their heartbeats because they didn't have one.

Lily

Jungkook started taking me out on dates and he's been over my house a couple times, this time being one of them.

"I'm bored!" He flopped down on my bed like a starfish and the sight made me laugh.

"Yah! Move over! I need to finish this book!" I said as I pushed his shoulder so he could get off the bed.

"What is it about?" He looked over my shoulder at my phone causing my cheeks to acquire the beautiful redness known as blush.

"Well, it's about a girl with ice powers and a boy with fire powers that are frenemies but secretly like each other. I'm just waiting for him to confess."

"You're a fanatic," he laughed as he shook his head causing me to roll my eyes at him.

"And I'm proud of it."

He went back to lying down with his hands under his head.

"Be my girlfriend?"

"What?" I turned around to see him smirking. That arrogant bastard!

"Be mine?"

"Yah! You can't just ask that!" I got a white, fluffy pillow and whacked him sending feathers everywhere. He quickly hit back so we got into a pillow fight. He's too weird.

"I'm hungry. Do you want anything?"

"Melon bread." he smiled at me.

"Bread? Are you serious?"

"Yep"

"Creep"

I got up and headed to the kitchen. I looked for melon bread in the cupboard and found it and some spicy ramen.

"Oh ramen!"

Minutes later, a hot, spicy ramen in a white bowl was in front of me just waiting to be devoured.

"Yum yum"

I climbed the stairs in happiness of my spicy ramen but when I arrived at my room, I noticed that Kookie was gone.

"Hmm, that's strange. Where the hell could he be?"

Jungkook

Since I had nothing to do while I was waiting on Lily, I started doing push ups to pass the time. As I was at the 7th one, I got a whiff of a sweet smelling scent of blood. It must be Lily's.

Smells so good. Can't resist

I spotted a window two feet away so I dashed to it and jumped through. I had to get away from her blood or else I would hurt her. That was the last thing I would want to do.

A rabbit!

The poor rabbit didn't get a chance to run away as I had already sunk my sharp fangs into its skin, tasting the sweet blood that made me full.
