Once I reach the safe room one the guards who is standing at the door open it for me and walk in.
My entire family there. Mom was sitting at a chair by a cot while one of her maid doing her nails. Dad was sitting at the back doing some paperwork.
So I went to the back were Dad was and sat down at his left.
"Hi Dad." I said.
My dad look up from his papers and notice me in the safe room. And boy does he look mad.
Sometimes its fun to disobey Dad. Like this one time when I 13 I throw this prank on King Edward Of England. My dog Thunder pee and poo on him. Dad doesn't allow Thunder out of my room only for mealtimes or rebels attack. So Dad got so mad when he found out. I was grounded for a month and I wasn't allow to leave my room only for rebels attack other thwn that I was trapped in my room.
"Hello Maxon, finally you want to come to the safe room." Dad said sharply.
"Sorry Dad I was in the garden and I forgot the alarm went off so I got inside and ran to the safe room. I haven't bump into any rebels." I lied will some of. It was true I did heard the alarm and I bumped into America the rebel girl.
I can tell my dad wasn't going to buy my excuse at all.
"After we leave the safe room Maxon, I want to see you in my office." He said firmly.
"Yes Dad," I said and he nodded and went back reading his papers.
Then I notice thunder ran up to me and jump onto my lap.
"Hi buddy."
Thunder bark (it mean he says hello back).
I played with my dog until it was time to go. I decided to bring Thunder to Dad's office with me
Once I reach Dad office I knock on the door firmly like he taught me.
Knock with auditory, Maxon.
Stop pacing all the time, Maxon.
Be faster smarter and better, Maxon.
"Come in."
I opened the door and walk in to find him at desk doing paperwork.
Thunder started barking once he saw Dad. Thunder doesn't like my dad. Like nobody does except Mom and me. Will I don't know I love Dad or hate him.
I got to love him because he is my dad and he is raising me. Another part of me hate him because he wasn't there for me when I needed him. He is always working. And he loves to ruin my life and treat me like a child.
Thunder and I went to sit on a chair by his desk.
"You needed to see me, Dad?"
"Yes."
"Well what is it?" I asked and look him in the eye. My face was turning red because I'm nervous of what he is going to do with me.
"That was unacceptable! That you came late to the safe room! You could have got yourself kill if the rebels found you!" He scold.
"I'm sorry Dad."
"Just go to your room and don't come out. You're grounded for a week." Dad said giving me a glare.
"But Dad I just came to the safe room late not a big deal. I don't need to be grounded that long." I complained.
"Out!"
"But Dad!"
He jump up from his seated and pointed towards the door. I dob't need him to said it a second time.
"Come on Thunder lets goback to my room. I'm grounded." I said to Thunder and we got up and left to my room.
