Chapter 6: Crows Attacks at Night?!-Part 2

Act 2: A Deal or No Deal?

Inside of Fakir's house, the crows are still attacking them and they could barely see a thing. Mytho tries to hold them off, but he has started to huff and puffing. "Father!" the prince shouted, "There's too many of them and this is a small space to fight them, we must leave the house now!"

"My son," Mytho pushed one of the crows back. "You're right, we must go now!"

"Let's go," Fakir agrees as he took his daughter's hand and held her hand tight as he held Duck tight in his other arm. Then he, Duck and Heaven ran as Mytho, Miss Rue and the prince follows.

Outside of the house, Fakir, Duck, Heaven, Mytho, Miss Rue and the prince has made it out unharmed and they all are out of breathes. "Is everybody alright?" Fakir asked,

"I think so," Miss Rue answered.

"Wait," Heaven looks around. "Where's Raylynn?"

Suddenly the prince jumped a bit, "She was right next to me while we were inside,"

"Did she get left behind?" Mytho asked, suddenly they all heard laughter,

"Why don't you just go right ahead ad find out for yourselves, your majesty?" A man's voice answered, and everybody looks up. They all saw a man with silver hair, a scar across his eye; sealed shut and another is open with shiny red eye, his skin is tan and all of his clothes are black as crows. In his arm is around a person's neck and Heaven has recognized the person is,

"Raylynn!" Heaven shouted,

Raylynn gasped, "...Heaven..." she gasped again, "...Mytho..." she struggled to breathe as the man held her neck tight.

"Let her go!" the prince shouted,

"Let her go?" the man echoed to turn it into a question, "No," he nodded. "If I do that, she will be dead right there in front of you. We don't want that to happen, don't we?"

The prince clutches his fist as he barely growls,

"My son," Mytho turned to the prince. "Calm down," then the prince relaxed his fist for a moment and Mytho turned to the man. "Who are you?"

"Names Nyroc, Captain of the Crows." The man answered,

Raylynn gasped, Nyroc? Raylynn thought, Where did I heard that before? Suddenly, a red flash has run through her face. She has started to remember about a heart...blood...and crows. She has become terrified for a moment, suddenly her stomach has growled and her mouth has started to water. What? She swallowed a bit, What's happening to me? Nyroc looks at her for a bit,

She knows something when I said my name, Nyroc thought. But what is it? Then he looks at the gang,

"Why are you here?" Fakir asked,

"I'm here to look for our master of course," he answered.

"Your master?" Duck quacked,

"He's probably means the Raven," Miss Rue answered.

Nyroc chuckled, "That's correct Kraeche," Nyroc has brought out a smile. "Or is it Rue?"

"It's Rue," Rue has almost out a growl.

"Wait...Kraeche?" the prince looks at his mother,

"It's a long story," she answered him.

"That's true alright, but..." he held Raylynn's neck tight. "If you want this girl alive, you will allow us to hunt pure and innocent hearts so we could offer them as a sacrifice for our master. If we could find him,"

"What happens if we refused?" Mytho asked,

"This girl's heart will be offered as a sacrifice instead,"

The prince growled a little as he clutches his fist.

"Or offer up one of the kings' or the princes' heart in its place,"

Everyone gasped as they jumped.

"You got three days to give me an answer, or if you do it early. One of my Crow Warriors would give me the message," then black dust has surrounded him and Raylynn.

"No!" the prince panicked,

"Raylynn!" Heaven shouted,

"See you real soon," Nyroc's voice faded and disappeared without a trace with Raylynn.

When they are gone, the crows has retreated; left the streets empty and very quiet. When everything has quiet down, Mytho gave the sword back to Fakir. "Thanks for letting me borrowing the sword Fakir," said Mytho.

"Anytime," said Fakir. "It looks like that we've got ourselves a new enemy on the lose now,"

"I've believe so," Miss Rue nodded.

"What shall we do?" Heaven asked, "How are we supposed to get Raylynn back?"

"I don't know," Mytho tries to think. "But we never face them like this before," before Mytho says anything. Heaven looks at the prince, he's clutching his fist very hard and his eyes are glowing bloody red.

Heaven jumped a little bit, and she sees that the prince is not acting himself for a while. It is something else, but she doesn't know what it is or why he's acting this way.

"My son," Mytho turns to him. The prince has relaxed his fist and his eyes has stopped glowing. He looked at his father,

"What?" he asked,

"Are you alright?" he asked,

"It's nothing personal," he turned away from his father.

"Well then," he puts his hand on the princes' shoulder. "I want you to stay here and protect your fiancé,"

The prince looked at his father with his eyes widen with curiosity.

"Your mother and I are heading back to the kingdom. So we could get back up and armor and other sorts, but I want you to stay here and record any reports of any activity about the crows around this town before we get back. Could you do that along with your fiancé to defend for?"

The prince looks down, "Yes sir," he answered.

"Good," Mytho took his hand off of his sons' shoulder. "Fakir, would you..."

"I will do my best to look after him while you and Rue are gone," Fakir answered.

"Thanks," then a carriage with swans that pulls it has appeared. Mytho has got on it, "Let's go Rue,"

"Okay," Miss Rue replied as she quickly hugs her son. "You be good to Fakir, Tutu and Heaven."

"Don't worry mom, I will." The prince replied, then she went onto the carriage and sat down right next to her husband.

"We'll be back," Mytho told them.

"And we'll be waiting," Duck quacked. Then they have took off and disappeared into the night time sky, and everything has become quiet once again.
