Chapter 1: New Visitors
Once upon a time, there is a gorgeous town with people that's living together in perfect harmony. On this morning, someone is still not fully awake yet in one of the cottages in town. In a room, the person is still in bed; sleeping, "Quack," a duck came into the room.
Waddle to the bed, flapped its wings with a jump onto the bed, waddle to the figures' side; its' under the covers of the bed, "Heaven, it's time to wake up." The duck quacked but the girl didn't budge. "Heaven, it's almost 8:30 in the morning."
The girl yawned, "Just five more minutes' mom," she moaned. The duck has given her a serious look, the duck took a deep breath,
"Quack! Wake up!" it shouted,
"Quack!" the girl jumped and feathers appeared on her bed. "I am so glad that I don't turn into a duck,"
"Easy for you to say," the duck moaned.
"Mom," the girl looks at the duck. "Why do you to wake me up like that for in this type of morning?"
"You've forgotten about it, didn't you?"
"Forgot about what?"
"We've got guests coming and you are supposed to bring your friend over before noon, and that is in three and half hours."
"Quack!" feathers appeared again, "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" Heaven has jumped out of bed and started to get ready.
"I've tried Heaven but you still keep on saying, 'just few more minutes.'"
"Well yeah, but do you believe me?"
"Hey Duck," said a man's voice. "Is Heaven up?" before he got to the door. The duck can see that Heaven is only a half dressed. Heaven hurried as she possibly can, suddenly the door of her room has started to open.
"Quack!" Heaven panicked as more feathers appeared, "Dad!"
"Oops, sorry." The man closed the door,
"Heaven's up Fakir," the duck has sat down on Heaven's bed.
"Yeah, I've just heard." Heaven must get ready and everything,
Oh, I'm Heaven, daughter of Fakir and Ahiru the Duck but my dad calls her Duck anyway though. Heaven thought of introduce herself in her mind,
Yeah, I know that my mom is actually a bird but I don't know why about it. But somehow, she has managed to lay me as an egg and once I have hatched after nine to ten months. I was born as human like my dad; Fakir, he's a writer though and someday I wanted to be one too. Suddenly, Heaven is fully dressed, brushed her hair, and has her favorite necklace on around her neck and she is ready. "Okay dad, you can come in now." Heaven called out and then a man has came into the room,
"I can see that you've gotten dressed," Fakir smiled.
"Yeah," Heaven said nervously.
"And I have also come up here to tell you both that breakfast is ready,"
"Thanks dad," Heaven rushed down stairs.
While Fakir and Duck is still in her room, Fakir walks to the bed, picked the duck up and carry her in his arms. "I wonder why she suddenly stayed up so late last night that could make her sleep in?" Fakir wondered out loud,
"She's a teenager Fakir," Duck quacked. "Sometimes they can be late on something,"
"You're probably are right and I wonder who she got that from,"
"Fakir," Duck blushed.
Fakir lightly laughed as they both exist the room and went down stairs to eat with Heaven.
For a while, they have got lunch and everything ready. Suddenly, someone knocks at the door. "I'll get it," Heaven went to the door. She opens it,
(Won't forget how the irritating Autor in the story.)
"Good afternoon sir," Heaven smiled.
"Excuse me," he went pass her and went into the kitchen.
"Hey!" Heaven got angry,
"Excuse me," a females' voice spoke to her. Heaven turns around, she saw a girl with jeans, red shirt, black jacket and black boots. Her hair is black as crows, her eyes are bright red, and her skin is white as snow.
"I was wondering if you could direct me to the right house,"
"Raylynn," Heaven smiled brightly. "I was going to come and get you,"
"No need, I just got help by that man who has just went in because he knows the way."
"Well, I'm so glad that you are here." Heaven moved out of the way, "Please come in," she offered.
"Thank you," Raylynn walked in and Heaven closed the door.
Before they both could enter into the dining room, they heard voices arguing. "What do you mean that the crows are coming back?" said Heaven's father's voice named Fakir,
"There are a whole bunch of numbers of crows that are entering into our town, and seems that they are somehow attracted to something that has brought them here." The man answered,
"Crows?" the girls whispered as they begun to listen,
"We need to find out what they are planning to do," the man continues. "So we could see and find away to get rid of them before it strikes again," Fakir looks at the corner of his eye and saw the girls are peeping out of the door way and they both are listening to their conversation.
Fakir sighed. "Now this is not the right time to talk about this," Fakir changes the subject as he looks at the man. "We can discuss this in another time but right now, we were going to have guests here soon." Fakir crossed his arms,
"Fine, but if my son meets your daughter. You'd better tell him to watch his back," then the man has left the room, walked to the door, and out of the house.
"Count on it," Fakir mouthed as he sighed and cooled down a bit.
When everything has quiet down, the girls has come out of hiding and cam into the room. "Sorry with all the trouble that he has brought in here dad," Heaven apologized.
"There's no need for that Heaven," Fakir smiled.
"Quack," Duck quacked. "So are you going to introduce us?"
"Oh yea," Heaven cleared her throat. "Mom...dad...meet Raylynn, she is the girl whom that I have told me that she has lost all of her memory of her childhood, she's a great fighter in our school, and plus I have considerate her as a friend."
"Nice to meet you," Raylynn bowed.
"Raylynn, these are my parents. Fakir and Ahiru the Duck,"
"It's very nice to meet you too Raylynn," Duck's voice has brought out a smile.
"You weren't kidding about that your mom is actually a duck as in a bird," Raylynn looked at Heaven,
"I know right," Heaven smiled.
"Wait a minute..." Duck quacked,
"You've told her?" Fakir asked,
"Well yea, because she's my only friend that I've had and trusted." Heaven answered,
"I see," Fakir rubs his chin. "Have you told anyone about this when you're with someone else Raylynn?"
"No sir, I haven't." Raylynn nodded, suddenly the door has been knocked.
"Quack, oh...they're here," Duck quacked.
"Now remember," Fakir walked passed the girls. "Be on your best behavior,"
"We will," the girls answered as he went to get the door.
