They say once every thousand years, a savior is born. And whatever they save, is up to them. Whether it be a person, or a kingdom, it was their choice. People say in a legend long ago, there was a beautiful maiden who was saved by a very handsome prince. But what did the prince save her from? A dragon? A criminal? No one knows. Except for a small family of three. And the Prince of Abitarea, and his helper. The Prince had saved a maiden. Or...that was the out look. On the inside, she, was a he. His name was Edward. The Prince had fallen in love with Edward. And Edward? Why he had fallen in love with the Prince. The Prince's name was Roy. And together, they saved one another from their deepest fear. Loneliness. The Prince now looked to his lover, and placed a soft kiss on his lips. "Right here..." He mumbled. Golden eyes looked around at the grassy hill. "Here? What's there to see....? It's pitch black." Ed replied bluntly, causing Roy to laugh. "I know. Here's my surprise." He replied. Roy pulled something from his pocket, and Ed flinched away, out of reflex. Over a year of constant abuse can harm a person. Roy held his hand gently, as he stepped down on a knee. "Edward Elric..." He begun. Ed raised an eye brow. "Ever since you saved my life, I could never stop thinking about you. Your beautiful golden hair, your soft, yet alert shining eyes. It was all there. Especially your smile. Your beautiful, beautiful smile. It....enchanted me. And, I'd love to wake up every morning to that smile. So, would you make me the happiest man alive....and marry me?" It was something emotional for Ed. He'd never been treated such way. Not since his mother had passed away. Overcome with emotion, he wrapped his arms around Roy, and hugged him as he nodded. "Yes. Yes I will." He replied. Roy smiled, and kissed him softly. "I love you.", "I love you too."
Their story wasn't exactly like the legend, but it's still the same. Inside and out. And that, was their happy end.

       And they lived happily ever after
