(After spending time with Lana and getting to know the autobots. Even if they had to lie to Fowler, Miko, and Raf. About why he, Rouge, and Laura had come. Currently, Logan is flying the X-jet while Rouge sits in the co-pilot seat and helps him steer. Laura was with Arcee and Lana in the cargo bay. Where she was watching Lana train how to use her claws)

" ( Blocks Lana's claws and then weaves out of the way of five swipes from). You're getting better little sister. ( Tries to sweep and kick Lana only for her to jump over it and then tackles her to the ground as the two tussle around on the ground). But you've still got a long way to go." Said  Laura as she was kicked away by Lana. " Yeah, but I'm getting better and faster for shore. " Said  Lana as she clashed claws with Laura. 

" ( Listens to the sounds of claws clashing and then smiles. While landing the X-jet in the hangar). Hey you two, get ready. We've made it back to the institute. Arcee,  whatever you do. Do not transform and keep your energon dampener on. Hank has a scanner that will detect your energon signature." Said  Wolverine. " What about me, what do I do?" Asked Lana. " You could pretend that you are a clone like me but were able to get all three claws. Or you could mainly use your telepathic powers. Whichever one you choose, we'll play off of whatever one you choose." Said Laura as they exited the X-jet while Lan wheeled Arcee out of the jet.

" ( Walks through the institute with Lana right behind her. Then walks into Charles's office). Charles, we found her. I'd like you to meet Lana Darby." Said Rouge as  Charles went over to  Lana in his hover chair. " It is good to finally meet you, Lana. I would go into detail, but we are not the only telepath that's here. For now (Sends her an image of a room and the directions on where to find it in the institute). Why don't you get some rest." Said Charles. " ( Nods her head). Thank you sir, I will. " Said Lana as she left the office. " ( Looks at Rouge and then notices how her mind is on a certain subject). So, she is the new host for the primordial." Said Charles. " Yes, and she's happy with her new host. She's even helped the young girl learn how to control her power. Something she's never done with Jean. Speaking of that, is she here?" Said Rouge. 

(Professor Xavior)

" Yes, Jean has been adamant about learning Lana's location. Which power has she chosen to wield? I will need you, Logan, and Laura to train her in the danger room." Said Charles. " I don't know yet. Bet if she chooses the claws, we have a back story for her and I'm sure the phoenix will keep her mind protected." Said  Rouge as she left the office, while putting up a mental barrier. The minute she reached downstairs. The minute she spotted Jean and Scott.  " ( notices  Rouge walk through the nearby hallway and then runs over to her). Rouge, where have you been? You missed out on training. " Said Jean. " Sorry, I was hanging out with some friends." Said Rouge as she walked to the living room.  " ( Follows Rouge to the living room). Well, have you seen Logan I wanted to talk to him." Said Jean. "That's new, you barely even talk to him. Especially after what happened way back then."  Said Rouge as she turned on the TV and began to watch Ridiculousness. While Jean looks down with gilt. " So, he still hasn't forgiven me for what I did." Said Jean. " Nope, neither has Laura as you can clearly see." Said Rouge as she heard Jean walk away. 

( Three hours later. Lana joins Logan, Laura, and Rouge in the danger room. They along with Emma Frost,  were working to help  Lana utilize her telekinetic powers. However, overseeing the training from the viewing room. Was Charles, Jean, Scott, and  Storm)

"( Uses her telekinetic powers to help her jump from building to building while throwing objects like cars and spiked poles at the sentinels). So, these are the sentinels hu. I will say this. They sure do look tough. Maybe I can practice against these guys back at home." Said  Lana as she slid under falling debris and then came out the other side unharmed. " I must say, that young girl is doing quite well for her first time in the danger room." Said Beast. " Laura did help the young girl practice while we were on our way here." Said Rouge. " Indeed, I only wish that my goddaughter were here to train with her. Oh little Lana, I pray that you're somewhere safe." Said Storm, missing the quick pause that Lana had taken after hearing what Storm had said. Before quickly getting back into the fight to not draw suspicion. 

 " ( Watches Jean from the astral plane and then shakes her head after reading Jean's thoughts). So, you truly gave up a perfect life. For one that's so bleak." Said Phoneix as she warned Lana of the Sentinal that was still trying to attack them after Emma had thrashed it. " ( throws street pole to her left thanks to Phoenix's warning. And watches as the pole stabs straight through the sentinal). STRIKE, YOU'RE OUT OF HERE! ( Quickly dodges a car that was thrown at her and then watches as one of the sentinels aims at her). Hmm, I wonder if this will work. ( Waits for the sentinal to fire at her. Before quickly using her telekinetic powers to encase the beam is a sphere.  While skidding on the heels and balls of her shoes). Well, I guess it does work. ( Stops herself from skidding backward by putting a wall behind her and then presses the bottom of her left foot on it). Well then, you can half it back." Said Lana as she quickly flew at the sentinal and then slammed its cheast with the telekinetic encased sphere of energy. The momentum causes the two of them to slam into the other sentinal. Which therefore caused a massive explosion.

" ( Gasped at what she had just seen). Is she crazy, something like that is too dangerous. Especially for someone as young as her." Said Jean. " (Looks at the viewing room while focusing on Jean). Jean, calm yourself. The girl's fine. I can still hear her thoughts and they haven't wavered." Said Emma as everyone looked at the explosion to see Lana walk out of the fire unharmed. " Now that, was fun. But I will only do that as a last resort. It had a major kick to it." Said Lana. " For a telepath/telekinetic as young as you to be able to survive something like that. Your powers must be extraordinarily strong." Said Emma as  Laura high-fived Lana while Logan patted her on the shoulder. " Thanks, but as I said. That will only be a last resort. It still knocked her into a wall and that almost knocked me out if I handed caught myself." Said  Lana as  Logan called for the simulation to end. Which caused the room to change from a battlefield to a large white room.

( Once the training simulation was over. Logan and Emma went over to talk with  The professor,  Scott, Jean, and Storm. Lana and Laura sat down against a nearby wall and ate some sandwiches. Beast or Hank as his friends call him. Soon walked into the room and headed over to Logan's group)

" So, what do you guys think?" Asked Emma. " She did exceptionally well for her first time. However, I would say that it would be best for her to work on her long-range attacks. She is a telepath like Jean, Emma, and Psyock after all after all." Said Hank. " I agree, she did very well today. Her reaction time and her quick movement were well thought out in situations like that." Said Xavier. Come now, let us  leave the young ones to their alone time." Said  Xavior as Hank walked right behind him. " ( Places her hand on Logan's shoulder to stop him). Logan, I'd to know. If you're still mad at me for what I did that day. " Asked Jean which caused Emma and  Rouge to stop walking and turn towards them. " What you did that day Jean, you mean what you took from me that day. You took away my chance along with Laura's to have a family.  Giving our daughter up, before even had a chance to truly look at her. Spend some father-daughter time, with her. Then you move on and try to go back to living a normal life. ( Turns to look at  Jeean while removing her hand from his shoulder). What can I say Jean, you broke my heart that day.  Because of you I never got to truly know my daughter, your daughter Jean." Said  Logan as tears went down his eyes as he backed away from her.

" Logan I'm sorry, I thought. I just thought that I wasn't truly ready to raise a family. Not like you raised Laura." Said Jean as she looked away from him. Not realizing that her and Logan's thoughts were reaching Lana. Who had stopped eating her sandwich. " Well, maybe it just wasn't meant to be then. Out of our friendship, I hope you and Scott are happy together. You two seem to hit it off a lot better than we did." Said  Logan until he and those in the observatory began to get extremely hot. " ( Talks to Phoneix within her mind). Is what he said true? Is she my mother?" Asked Lana as a burning fire began to surround her. While also not affecting Laura at all. " Yes, she is. She was also my previous host before I found you. My sweet little bird." Said  Phoniex. This caused  Lana to let loose more of her power as the floor around her began to shake. While the Area round Laura didn't move at all. Thanks to Lana channeling it away from her.

( Those in the observatory room can only cough and sweat from the intense heat that they were feeling. It was made even worse when they heard a loud yell of rage. Before everyone in the room watched as Lan quickly flew at Jean and then tackled her. As the two then crashed through the ceiling of the observatory. This began a telepathic battle between the two. With Jean trying to get Lana to calm down while asking why she was attacking her. And Lana in a not-so-blind rage threw everything object she could think of at Jean using telekinetic powers. Lana even used her power to grab Jean and slam her into the ground outside. But not before tossing her out of the institute, which led them outside. The fight ended with Lana using a fire version of her telekinetic powers to pin Jean to the grass floor) 

"  YOU WEREN'T TRULY READY, THATS YOUR EXCUSE? YOU COULDN'T FULLY COMMIT TO A MAN WHO LOVES YOU, BUT YOU'LL COMMIT TO A MAN WHO WILL FOLLOW YOU AROUND LIKE A LOVE-SICK PUPPY!  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!  ( Raies her left hand up and then puts more pressure on  Jean).  THAT IS THE MOST WEAKEST THING THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD! YOU COULDN'T OWN UP AND TELL HIM THAT YOU WEREN'T TRULY READY, SO YOU WAIT UNTIL AFTERWODS TO SEND THE LITTLE GIRL AWAY BEFORE HER FATHER CAN TRULY SPEND SOME TIME WITH HER! ( Quickly waves her right hand as a recent flame flies from her hand and hits Scott which knocks him to the ground).  STAY OUT OF THS LOVERBOY, OR I'LL DEAL WITH YOU NEXT!" Said  Lana. " ( Watches her hit Scott and then tries to muster enough strength to break free. Leave home out of this. He's just trying to help." Said  Jean,  before gasping at the flames that are covering the girl's eyes. " OH REALLY, IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK? HOW ABOUT YOU READ HIS MIND AND THEN TELL ME THAT! (Quickly activates her right-hand claws and then covers them in Phoniex's fire. Before using the claws to block a red beam from Scotts Optic blast. Then looks at Jean with a glare).  DOES THS LOOK LIKE HE'S TRYING TO HELP, HU, HU MOM?" Said  Lana in anger.

" ( Gasp in shock at what she was just called).  You, you can't be. You're, my daughter. ( Looks at the three claws that are currently blocking Scott's optic blast). The daughter that I had with  Logan." Said Jean in shock. " ( Quickly runs outside with Psylockand gasps at what's going on). This has to stop before more people get hurt. Pysylock put Scott to sleep. I'll see what I can do for the girl." Said Emma as she used her Telokentic powers to enter  Lana's mind. While Psylocke used hers to put Scott to sleep. " ( Runs outside and then sees what  Emma is about to do). Emma no wait, you don't want to do that." Said Logan. " We can talk later Logan, right now. I need to focus and stop this." Said Emma as she entered  Lana's mind. " ( Feels someone enter her mind and then growls while walking toward Jean. Before speaking to the Phoneix). Deal with the trespasser, I've about had enough for one day." Said  Lana as she sheaths the claws in her right hand once Scott falls unconscious.

( Within Lana's mind)

" ( Looks around the mindscape). For one full of so much rage. This world of the mind feels  tranquil." Said Emma as she suddenly looked up. To see a woman in a black and red suit with a red fire birl emblem on her cheast.  Fly down in front of her and then land ten feet from her. " You again, we really need to stop meeting like this frost." Said Phoenix. " The phoenix,  but how? You're supposed to be wandering the galaxy after you left Jean's mind." Said  Frost as she tensed up. " To be quite honest, I never really left the mortal plain. The day I left Jean was the day she gave birth to the young girl whose mind you are invading. I wasn't going just to stand there and let her abandon a child. So I hopped from Jean's mind to this young one. We've become the best of friends. Now scram crystal." Said  Phoenix as she used her power to send  Emma out of  Lana's mind.

( In the real world)

" ( Feels the intrusion leave her mind and then looks down at Jean. Before giving off a quick scaph and then walks away after letting Jean go and knocking her out with a telekinetic attack. While noticing Emma get sent flying into the wall behind her). Serves you right.( Looks at Logan). Dad, I'm gonna go for a drive. Is that ok with you?" Asked Lana. " Sure thing hun, go cool off for a bit. I'll call you or have Laura come get you when it's time." Said Logan as  Lana nodded her head and headed to the garage where Arcee was waiting in her motorcycle mode. Once there,  Lana hopped on Arcee and drove off into the city.

( four hours later, in the living room of the institute. Scott, Emma, and, Jean have finally woken up from being unconscious)  

" ( Quickly looks around the room). Where is she, where's the new recruit?" Asked  Scott in anger. " What so she can knock you on your but again? You deserved that Summers. You attacked her instead of trying to de-escalate the situation." Said Rouge. " Yeah, you're supposed to be the leader and the first thing you do is to attack her. besides, she would have backed off once she got out what she needed to say. ( Looks at Emma). You ok Emma? Said Laura as Storm walked into the living room. " I'm fine Laura, I just never thought I would see the phoenix in that young girl's mind." Said Emma which shocked Jean, Scott, and Storm.

" ( Looks over at the professor). You don't seem surprised professor, why is that?" Asked Scott. " Because I have been looking for young Lana ever since  Jean told us that she had given the little one off to an orphanage. But I couldn't find her. That was until a couple of weeks ago, I sensed with Ceribro a strong mutant power that was equal to you, Emma, and  Madilyne's Jean. When I first zeroed in on it. I found our young  Lana battling soldiers with three sets of claws on both hands. Along with fire covering those same claws, just like they did today. That along with the strong telepathic powers that I was feeling. I knew it had to be her. So I sent Logan and Laura to go and find her. Though it seems rouge had decided to tag along." Said Charles.  " I did day that I wanted to be her godmother after all." Said Rouge.

" That you did Rouge, but now I see what Phoneix meant. When she said that she and  Lana had become great friends.( Looks at Logan and Laura). The week you were gone. You were spending the time that you never got to spend with her, weren't you? Even helped  Phoneix train Lana how to use her powers. Which is why she was able to make those quick decisions on the move." Said Emma with a smile. "That's right, and We enjoyed every moment of it. Though I think that's enough time for her to cool off. So I'll give her a call. Summers, don't antagonize her like you tried to do earlier. She was being lenient with you at that time. Because she only wanted to talk to Jean. and er both know that Jean can take care of herself." Said  Logan as he, Laura, Rouge, and the professor. walked/hovered out of the room.

" ( Looks at Jean). Are you ok, Jean?" Asked Scott. " How can I be Scott? the daughter I gave up on was in the building with me. And I couldn't even see the resemblance between us. Not only that, she's done the one thing that I could never do. Make friends with the Phoneix. I need some time to think. ( Gets off the couch and motions for  Storm to follow her. Before turning to look at Scott). Please, do not antagonize her. I am going to make an effort to fix what I had done that day and try to rekindle the love for her that I once had. I can not do that if you hold on to what had happened today." Said  Jean as she, Storm, and later Emma, left the living room. While Scott went back to lying down on the couch.
