( The next day, Lana was taken to a part of the desert. Were she was helped by Optimus Arcee and Elita to work on her mutant powers. To see what it was that she could do)

"OK, so you could read Megatron's yesterday.  Do you know what I'm thinking?" Asked Elita with a smirk. " ( Raises an eyebrow and then reads her mind. Before glaring at her). You do that and I'm getting Arcee to kick you after I throw it at you." Said  Lana as  Elita picked up a medium-sized boulder with one hand. " Ok then, try it." Said Elita as she threw the boulder at Lana. " ( Raises her left hand and uses her telekinetic power to halt the rock in mid-air). You asked for it. ( Watches Arcee trip up  Elit and then launches the boulder at her. Before watching as the  Boulder slammed into Elita and knocked her to the ground). I told you, though there wasn't any strain when I did that." Said Lana. "Probably because of the size. I mean it was small by our standards. But would probably take at least twelve strong humans to lift that thing." Said Arcee. "That's all well and good, but could you please get it off." Said  Elita as Optimus had walked over to help her. Only to stop once  Lana arrived and used her claws, which had the fire surrounding them. Destroy the boulder until nothing is left. 

"OK, so if your claws are similar to who I'm thinking of. Plus the fact that you took a bullet through your head. You're able to heal from any stab or bullet wound. Even someone trying to cut you in half wouldn't work unless it was a special kind of metal." Said Arcee as she quickly turned around to see  Elita stab her left sword arm into  Lana's cheast. " Really,  you didn't even let her finish. " Said Lana as elita took her blade out of Lana's cheast. " She didn't need to, I know who she's talking about. Which means you can take an ion blast from  Megatron and live. Even if it would take you a while to heal." Said Elita. " I believe that will be enough testing for one day. It would be best if we returned to base. Ratchet has made a type of Clothing that is specifically meant for you Lana." Said  Optimus as he, Arcee, and  Elita transformed into their vehicle modes. " What like a self-repairing function or highly dense clothing that can take a hit and not fall apart on me?" Asked Lana as she hopped onto Arcee and then put her helmet on. 

" Try all of the above. Ratchets spent no expense making it for you. ( Drives off by to base with  Elita and Optimus driving right behind her). His excuse was for the next time Miko pulls another one of her stunts. Like she did yesterday." Said Arcee. " That makes sense,  though now I feel special. However, ther is one thing. Remember, Megatron saw me live through a bullet to the head as well. Plus, when I read his mind. He said something about learning more about mutants and possibly trying to get one on his side. Since you guys have me." Said Lana.  " I take it, there are mutants out there that would be willing to join the Decepticons." Said Elita. " Thanks to people like Trask and people who don't truly want to live peacefully with mutants. Yes, many mutants would take a chance at terrorizing civilians and helping Megatron achieve his goal." Said  Lana as they neared the base.

(Meanwhile, over in a secluded area some were in the forest of Jasper Nevada. The X-jet has arrived, with a hitchhiker to boot) 

" Rouge, it still amazes me how you were able to sneak onto the jet without either of us knowing." Said Laura. " I've had a lot of practice when it came to Logan. Plus, I was there when she did it. Storm may ignore it in favor of praying that the child stays safe. But I won't just sit around anymore. I wanted to meet the little one for a while now." Said Rouge. " It might also help that she volunteered to be Lana's godmother. So, she's ok." Said Logan as he hopped onto his Harley motorcycle that was parked in the X-jet, right next to a car that Laura had bought for herself. " Well, come on then, let's go find our girl." Said Rouge as she hopped into the driver seat of the car, while Laura hopped into the passenger seat. Before driving off right behind Logan. Once he started up his motorcycle and drove off. They used a device given to them by Charles, to track where ever the signal of their target was currently at.

" This is a very nice style  Ratchet, thanks a lot. " Said Lana. " It's the least I can do after you took two bullets trying to save Raph from getting shot." Said Ratchet. " I still never thanked you for that  Lana,  so thanks. I owe you one now." Said Raph. " Don't worry about it. We're a team, right? ( Glares at  Miko). Even if some people would rather risk their lives to watch a live smackdown and possibly get themselves killed. Therefore leaving agent Folwer to come up with some sob story about how the wrecker Miko met a humanly demise." Said Lana as she suddenly felt someone bring her up in their thoughts. " I said I was sorry ok, I can't help it if I want to see a metal throw down." Said Miko. " You can apologize by never pulling something like that again for as long as you live. Or until Optimus says that they need our help." Said Lana as she walked over to Arcee and then used her telepathic power to let her know that it was time for a drive.

" That would be something to see actually come true." Said Ratchet as Arcee and Lana drove off and left the base.

( With Logan's group)

" (Receives a telepathic message from Charles). Yeah Chuck, what's up?" Asked  Logan. " The mind of the one we're looking for is, much clearer then it was before. It even seems your group is closing in on her. However, there seems to be a second set of thoughts within her own.  Once you reach her I will attempt to reach out to this second mind. To try and see what is going on." Said Charles. "Ok, and I gotta say, this new locater you and hank whipped up is very handy." Said Logan as he, Laura, and Rouge stopped at a fast-food restaurant. When the locater signal said that they were right on the target. " Looks like we're in the right place, now we just have to find her." Said Laura. " No, just think about her. She'll come to us." Said Rouge as  Logan nodded his head. Before the two began to envision images of a baby  Lana in their heads. While keeping the image of Jean hidden.

" ( Feels the same minds that were talking about her earlier. And then notices how the thoughts are right on her). Hu, well this is interesting." Said Lana. " What makes you say that?" Asked Arcee. " Earlier I felt three sets of minds, the interesting thing is. They were thinking about me and they were positive. Like purely positive." Said  Lana. " Can you zero in on them?" Asked  Arcee. Yeah, but once I do, you'll need to lower the tempo of your spark. It's beating enough to where my hinted hearing can hear it and if my dad is who I think he is. Then he'll hear it just like I can. ( Looks over and spots Logan as she feels the three pairs of thoughts coming from his group). because he's here and he's not alone." Said Lana as Arcee lowered the tempo and sound of her spark. 

" ( Notices a young redhead looking at them). Logan, I think I found her. " Said  Rouge as she walked over towards Lana. " ( Looks at the young girl that Rouge is walking towards. Then sends out a memory of himself holding a baby Lana. Which makes the young girl give off a look of shock). Yep, that's her. Come on Laura, let's go say hi to your little sister." Said  Logan as he and Laura walked over toward Lana. " ( Shakes her head in order to get rid of the look of shock and then looks at Logan). First question,  are those images that you showed me? Are they really of you holding me when I was little?" Asked Lana as Logan, Rouge, and Laura hugged her. "Yes, and it is a day. That I will never forget. As for your mother,  it's best that you not know about her for right now. She was the one who gave you up. Even went so far as to do it behind my back as well. " Said Logan, until he, Laura, Rouge, Lana, Arcee, Optimus, and Elita. Were dragged into some kind of firey realm. There they saw the professor and what looked like another version of Lana.

" Greeting everyone, I know four of you are aware of who I am. But for those that do not. I am called the Phoenix force, the embodiment of creation and destruction." Said Phoneix. "  So you are the other mind within young Lana. Why have you chosen to inhabit this young one?" Asked  Charles. " Because I did not agree with the choice her mother made in giving the young one away. Therefore, I searched for the girl's future and what it would be if she had me. It was there that I learned that this young girl would be the perfect host for me. along with one that I could call a friend." Said Phoneix. 

( Phoenix)

" So you're the reason why my claws can ignite on fire. ( Activates her left claws and then covers them in fire). I was wondering how that is possible." Said Lana. " That is because, unlike your mother who rejects me and chooses not to try and understand me. Your body grew used to my power, to the point you gained the ability to ignite your claws. As well as be immune to any type of fire. Not even the earth's core will hurt you." Said Phoniex. " (Looks over at the autobots and then focuses on Arcee). Judging by your color scheme. You're the blue motorcycle that my daughter was standing next to. My thanks for assisting her adopted mother with keeping  Lana safe." Said Logan. " It's no trouble at all,  I'm just worried about what June will think when she learns about this." Said Arcee. " It is for the best, that she does not learn about this. For she is among those who still question the existence of mutants. The only reason she didn't learn about it over the years. Is because I used my power to keep Lana's X-gene from activating. Telling her now could bring challenges that the young one is not yet ready to face. For now, Logan and his group will stay a while and get to know Laura as all fathers should." Said the Phoneix as she sent everyone back to the real world.

( Back in the real world)

" ( Opens his eyes and then smiles at Lana). Well, you heard the lady. Let's go spend some quality time." Said Logan as he hopped on his motorcycle while  Rouge and  Laura got in their car. " Sure, this is going to be one heck of a year." Said  Lana as she hopped onto  Arcee. Before quickly speeding off and away from the fast food restaurant. With  Logan,  Laura, and  Rouge following right behind in their vehicles.
