(Elisa showed her daughter around Manhattan for the next couple of days. Elina even asked if she could join her mother in working as a junior detective under her. So Elisa took her daughter to meet her boss. There Elina was given the usual registration and qualification test. Both of which, Elina passed with flying colors.  Once that was out of the way,  Elisa took her daughter to an event that was taking place not too far from Elisa's apartment)

" So what kind of event is this mom? Is it some sort of city-wide event where the people gather and mingle or is it a charity event?" Asked Elina. " A bit of both actually, but our job will be to act as part of the security detail until the event is over with. Oh and another thing, be mindful of your surroundings. A lot of the people here are on criminal pay roles. So whatever you do, keep an eye and an ear out for anything that may sound or look strange." Said Elisa. " Ok mom, I will. But how should I reach you if I see something strange?" Asked Elina. " ( Tosses Elian a radio and then watches her catch it). Use that if you ever need to contact me. Stay safe Elina." Said  Elisa as she walked away. " You got it mom, I can't wait to see what this event has in store." Said  Elina as she walked around the event, visiting every station as she went.

" Sir, it would appear that Miss Maza has brought someone with her. It seems to be a young girl and from the badge on the young lady. She seems to be a detective in training." Said a man wearing glasses and blond flat hair. " Interesting, maybe our new detective can make things a little bit more interesting if Maza is with them. I might as well go and say hi. Try and get a feel for our  friend." Said a man with brown short hair as he walked over to  Elina. " ( Looks around for Elina in order to check on her, then spots  Zantose walking towards her. Not this time  Zantos, you won't endanger my daughter like you did to my brother." Said Maza as she walked over to  Elina and Zanatos.

" (Looks to her right after spotting someone walking toward her in the corner of her eyes. Then turns to see the man with dark brown hair). Um, hello there. Is there something that I can help you with?" Asked Elina. " On the contrary, I know almost everyone in this city. Though I've never seen a face as curious as yours. ( Holds out his left hand for a handshake). My name is David Zanatose. I believe you've heard of me." Said Zanatose. " ( Feels something off about the man in front of her, then shakes his hand). Nice to meet you, as for knowing you. I can't say that I have. My name's Elina Darby." Said Elina as she used her adoptive last name out of caution and following the bad feelings warning. " It's nice to meet a new face to our illustrious city." Said  Zantose as  Elisa made it over to them. I could use your help with 

" Hey there cadet, there's something that I could use your help with carrying some boxes." Said  Elisa as she avoided eye contact with Zanatose. " Sure thing, I always love to help people." Said  Elina as she followed Elisa away from Zanatose. " ( Keeps her eyes looking forward ).  Stay away from him Elina, Zanatose is not someone that you should be anywhere near or associate with."Said  Elisa as they walked around. " Is that why I felt uneasy around him? There seemed to be an uneasy aura around him." Said Elina. " Yes, that's exactly why.  From now on, when you're involved in something and he's behind it. Do what you can to gather any evidence that will convict him." Said Elisa." Ok Mom, I'll be sure to remember that." Said  Elina as they drove home.
