Flashback...

Ragini and her troops were hiking up one of the many mountains in the Himalayas. "Ok!! Everyone the people are somewhere here! Split up and find them! But most of all DISABLE THAT BOMB! Suresh, take your group to the left side of the mountain. Rajesh take yours to the right. I will be at the top keeping watch," said Ragini as her troops saluted and followed her orders. Ragini hiked up the mountain and kept watch. Suddenly, a knife was thrown in the direction of Ragini and was about to hit her when someone came in between. That someone was a very close person to Ragini. "Harsh!!," she yelled worried running to his side. Ragini called for troops to take him to get medical attention as she searched for any sight of where the knife came from. She was very eager to find those people as now they have hurt her Harsh(You will find out more about Harsh in the upcoming parts). After Harsh was taken away Ragini went back to eyeing her troops and looking for any possible direction from where that knife could have come from. That's when a few gun shots were fired from the side of the mountain. She felt a searing pain in her shoulder as she had been shot. She lost her balance as someone from behind pushed her. She tumbled down the mountain accumulating more injuries. She fell down a hole and hit her head on the hard ground loosing consciousness...

When she woke up, she found herself tied to a chair. Her shoulder was paining to a great extent, and waves of dizziness came washing over. She was in a cave with a small opening at the top which she had fallen from. "Looks like someone came around," said a man dressed in black, his face covered with a black and white mask. He was wearing the same necklace that Swara now had. "Who are you, and what do you want?," asked Ragini stalling for time as she secretly cut the ropes that tied her to the chair. "I am the leader of this group of people you are after. The mastermind, who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. You are probably wondering why I am doing this. I'll give you a hint, It's connected to something that happened a long time ago...... and to your past," said the man walking around Ragini, eyeing her like a hawk with hungry eyes wanting revenge. "And what do you want from me?," asked Ragini. The man pulled out a knife, and used the tip of the knife pushing into the bullet wound moving the knife slightly around making the wound worse. Ragini grimaced in pain. The man laughed, "Isn't it clear? I want you to suffer. I want you to feel the pain of reality..... I want revenge," said the man pulling the knife away, as she whimpered in pain. She finally managed to get out of the ropes when the man wasn't looking. The man turned around, only to notice Ragini was out of the ropes. He clapped his hands and goons came out behind him. They started attacking her. While she was handling the goons, one random goon came with a rod from behind and smashed it on her head causing it to bleed profusely. Ragini felt herself losing her balance, her vision was slowly blurring. She somehow managed to fight off the goons. "You fight well I must say," said the man. Without another second to spare, she knocked out the man giving a blow to his head. She found the closing system to the bomb behind her. "Rajesh and Suresh, I found the closing system to the bomb.  I am disabling it as we speak," said Ragini into the walkie talkie cutting a few wires in the closing system. "That's great!," said Rajesh through the walkie talkie. "Ok, I disabled the bomb. I need some backup, the people are also here, I am...," said Ragini when the man came behind and hit her on her shoulder, Ragini yelled in pain. "Ragini! Are you ok?!? What's going on?!?, " asked Suresh. Before Ragini could reply the man grabbed the knife he had, and stabbed Ragini in the stomach. Ragini fell to the ground wincing in pain, as she clutched her side to stop the bleeding, but it only got worse. "You'll be lucky if you survive, good luck in finding me!," said the masked man as he escaped, disappearing into the cave. "Ragini!! Can you hear me?!?! Come in!! Ragini where are you?!," asked Rajesh. Ragini reached the walkie talkie and with great difficulty she managed to say, "I am in a cave close to the edge of the mountain.  I-If I don't make it, t-tell Ranveer and Mohini, that I love them," said Ragini before blacking out. 

Ragini woke up with a bright light shining into her eyes.  As her eyes adjusted to the light, she looked around and found herself in a hospital bed. She had a horrible headache, her shoulder was throbbing, and most of all she experienced unbearable pain near her stomach. The doctor came in a few minutes later. "How you feeling Ragini? You were in a bad condition when you got here," said the doctor writing something on his clipboard. "I feel horrible," said Ragini groaning in pain as she tried to get up. "Take it easy, you need to rest," said the doctor helping her lay back on the bed. "Hahaha, we all know how she is, she won't take rest till she gets that man," said a man by the name of Karan walking in. (Karan, you could say is like Ragini's boss, like a general of a general. I guess something like that.) He walked up and sat on the stool next to the bed. "Either way, she has accomplished a lot. Great job on your mission Ragini! Now you must take rest, no excuses," said Karan with a smile. "But.. what about the man and..," started to say Ragini when she was interrupted by Karan, "Don't worry about it. We will handle it. You can take over the case, but only when you are in a better shape," Ragini gave a small nod. "Anyways, even if she tries to do any action episodes, the pain will take over. Especially those stab and bullet wounds of yours," said the doctor bringing forward a knife. "This was the knife that was found in Harsh's body. I believe another one like this was used to stab you, based on the ridges of the bade," said the doctor handing the knife to Karan. Ragini then glanced at the calendar, and realized she had to go. "Karan, I will have to go back to Mumbai... It's Mohini's birthday," said Ragini. "I am fine with it, but do take care of yourself. Do wish Mohini from my side as well," said Karan. "Ragini, you can go, but it is critical that you take extreme care of yourself. When you go back you don't want to make the wounds worse, so please stay away from action episodes of any sort. Also, your stab wound may start to pain in a few days time, contact me once you start feeling pain, I will then need to carry out some more tests. But until then, please take care!," said the doctor. "If you get the chance, take a look at the knife. I believe it holds a very important clue," said Karan placing the knife on the side table.

End of Flashback

Ragini was looking at the knife with those words in her mind, "The knife holds a clue," she couldn't help but feel, that she had seen the knife before.....somewhere deep in her past. Tears just kept streaming down her face. Harsh... he gave her everything, and now he is gone.... and it's her fault. She felt a little soreness near her stomach, she knew the pain killer was starting to wear off. The Maheshwari family and Ranveer soon came in to check on  Ragini.  Ragini  hid the knife beneath the bed and pretended to be examining her ankle which was in a brace, due to the fall in Himalayas. Ranveer sat next to Ragini and chuckled, "Guess Mohini was right about you hurting some part of your leg," he said. Ragini gave a hesitant smile. "Anyways, what did you do this time?," asked Ranveer gesturing towards her ankle. "I broke it," said Ragini in a quiet voice avoiding eye contact. She was trying to avoid conversations, as the "vision" she saw of Swara and Laksh and Ranveer getting shot had really disturbed her.

The Maheshwari family and Ranveer noticed her silence. "So when was the last time you hurt this leg of yours?," asked Sanskaar hoping to cheer her up. "I sprained my ankle about a month ago. And what do you know, I hurt it again!," she said with a pout. Sanskaar laughed and gave a Ragini a side hug. Ragini winced in pain as she felt some more pain, due to her stab wound. Sanskaar noticed and became a little worried. "Are you...," but before he could say Ragini held his hand tight pleading with her eyes that he say nothing. Sanskaar stayed silent. Meanwhile Ranveer and everyone else realized that Ragini wasn't ready to talk about what happened downstairs. "Soo I guess we should get going, maybe we can talk tomorrow morning. Goodnight," said Swara. They all wished each other goodnight and dispersed into their rooms. Sanskaar stayed back, "Umm Ragini... can I talk to you for a second?," asked Sanskaar. Ranveer left the room to let them talk.

Once Ranveer left, Sanskaar turned to Ragini with worry on his face, "Are you ok? What happened?," he asked. "Sanskaar, I haven't told anyone about what happened at Himalayas, but I will just say we were attacked and in that process I was stabbed," replied Ragini. Sanskaar was shocked. "Well don't you need to consult a doctor?!," asked Sanskaar, slightly frantic. "Look, I can't do anything about it. The doctor already gave me a pain killer, and it will slowly wear off. The doctor told me to contact him once that happens, so he can do some further tests. Apparently some other injuries were caused from the stab. Just please don't tell anyone," said Ragini. Sanskaar was having mixed feelings. "But why don't you tell Ranveer about it?," asked Sanskaar. "Ranveer already has a lot on his plate, I don't want to worry him more. He has been going out of his way to help me with everything, now if he finds out I was stabbed.... I don't want him to do more than what he is already doing. You know, he blames himself for my condition. He feels he wasn't there for me when I needed him most, when in reality I am not even around to be there for him," said Ragini as a tear escaped her eye. Sanskaar immediately hugged her as he saw tears stream down her face. "Shhh, don't think like that. Trust me... he understands...," said Sanskaar trying to console her. Ragini let all her feelings loose and sobbed in his embrace. Ranveer who was walking down the hallway heard her sobbing and saw her in Sanskaar's (brotherly) embrace. He and Sanskaar had no idea how hurt she was, not physically but emotionally.
