*Song above goes great with this chapter!*

"I call her the devil Because she makes we wanna sin And every time she knocks I can't help but let her in."

Adeline

Panicking on a dark street with no one around is a horrible idea so I run forward, stopping just where the wall is, she just went right through.

I place my hand on the wall only it falls forward and totally disappears behind this fake wall. I pull my hand forward, shaking out the small jitters I feel as I examine my hand. I still have all my limbs at least that's a plus, right.

Taking a deep breath and closing my eyes, I walk through the wall. Expecting to smash my face into a brick wall, I meet nothing but air. Opening my eyes, I am met by yellow cat eyes.

"I thought you'd never come in." Bast laughs. "Come on the club is just behind this door." She walks to a large metal door, like in the movies with a small slot that slides open so you can speak through and see from the other side.

She stands in front of it, I think she's about to knock but instead she writes the same symbol from before into the door with her blood.

I hand out my arm but she shakes her head, "Nope not this time succubus."

"How encouraging?" I watch the door, when nothing happens I assume no one's coming.

I raise my hand, ready to open the small hatch but I stop when it opens with a loud bang.

The eyes behind the door flash, the orange and yellow swirls move like lava, as they study the two girls on the opposite side.

"Sowoak aaosokr na bo." His voice was grating, a guttural almost brittle sound of jumbled words. It most likely sounds that way because of his face, I would say he's a werewolf with all the hair but his face is smashed back like a pug or one of those cats.

I look at Bast confused, what in the world did he just say, that language was none known on earth from what I can tell.

Bast replied almost immediately, "Ar kaoslo." She would speak this weird language.

"Are you going to explain any of this Bast?" I'm pretty sure not even google could translate this one.

She turns to me, "He is speaking Rok and he said we have to reveal ourselves to him."

I folded my arms, still confused, "What?"

She sighs, rolling her eyes that are now nothing but a bright yellow, she points to her eyes, "Reveal dumbass."

I guess that makes some sense, "I don't really know how to do that."

She groans, rubbing her forehead, "You had to of seen your eyes do something, I've seen it. What triggers your eyes to go all glow stick?"

Death mentioned that my emotions triggered it and I knew for a fact that he was right, "My emotions."

She smiles, "That should be easy enough." Before I knew it I'm being smacked in the face, my head whips to the side, the pain a small tingle across my cheek.

"I am sick and tired of you people hitting me." I growled.

"Get used to it," She grips my chin staring into my eyes. "See it worked." She pulls my face toward the door, showing the weird thingy behind the door my eyes.

He closes the small door, then a loud click comes from behind as Bast let's go of my face.

She turns to me with a wink, "We are in baby."

I rub my cheek, "Yeah, woohoo."

The door swings open, the hairy wolf like creature stays behind us as we walk inside.

She jumps up and down as the sound of music begins to radiate of the walls around us. I touch the wall beside me, the slight vibrations that comes off of it tingles my finger tips.

The guy that let us in, is far from gone, leaving us to venture into this 'club'. The lights above us disappear leaving the hall to pulse with light ahead of us. A mixture of fluorescent colors leak from the doorway as we come closer and closer. The sound of music intensifies as does the new sound of people talking and shouting.

"My gosh Adeline smile, do something other than wear that pitiful frown." She twirls around, as she enters the multicolored lights, they dance on her tan skin causing her yellow eyes to reflect the light.

I smooth down the feathers that aren't even loose from my skin but I do it out of sheer nerves, I have no clue what waits for me beyond that threshold, it terrifies me.

"Who are we looking for again?" I hide my nerves the best I can.

She stops, facing me in a dramatic twirl, "Well here's the thing I don't really know who he is but," She holds up a finger before I can scream at her. "He comes here often and the owner, the one who in fact invited us guarantees that he will be here tonight."

I could strangle her right about now, she has lied to me not once now but twice and now she doesn't even know if this guy is even here let alone exist. "Do you atleast know the damn owner?"

"There is no reason to be upset Adeline, I've got this and yes I know the owner just follow my lead and nothing will go astray."

I narrow my eyes, not believing what she says, "Everything is already astray Bast, I thought you had this all figured out and let me guess this owner you know so well wants something in return. What will it be this time, my soul?" Why does everything I do lead to more and more wants and takes, why does it have to lead to him being right. He warned me and I just brushed it off like some stupid joke and by the look of Bast's face I'm right, this owner wants something.

"You aren't totally wrong he does want something but no he doesn't want your soul, he knows you're human and demon so he wants you to do something for him. He hasn't told me but I'm one hundred percent positive it's nothing serious."

This time I do hit her, my fist connects with the right side of her perfect face, it barely leaves a mark on her smooth skin but the satisfaction of hitting her is all still worth it.

She raises her hands in defense, "Alright I deserve that but no more we have to go before we miss him, are you done." She challenges.

"No I'm far from done Bast, let's just get this over with." I was tired of being around this damn demon.

We followed the lights and the sound of music, letting it drown out everything even our thoughts, when we finally reach the actual club what I see is beyond what I thought it would be.

No one bothers noticing the two newcomers, they look entranced by the sound of the music playing overhead, like nothing existed but here.

"Bast I don't feel well." I don't even realize I'm walking forward and into the crowd of people who sway to the music and the beat that seems to come from the floor. It travels up my legs and in the pit of my stomach, reaching the back of my neck to rest at my lips, the feeling of floating is all I feel as the music captures every part of me.

Someone takes ahold of my hand, guiding me away from the mass of people, "No Adeline, come on this way." Snapping out of my daze, I peer over at her, she doesn't seem affected by the sound, the sweet lullaby of music.

She takes us to the bar, where a man with four arms mixes drinks vigorously, Bast smiles when he spots her, "If it isn't one of my favorites, how's it going Bast."

Bast slides into one of the stools, her small frame leaning forward, "I'm thirsty Jax, how about a drink for me and my new friend."

The man known as Jax turns his head to me, his long dreads sway to the beat as if alive, he lifts his head, a rather human greeting, "Nice to meet you."

"Likewise, the names Adeline." I do as Bast does, I casually slide into one of the stools next to her.

He half smiles, I guess he could be hot if you ignored his two extra arms, "I would shake your hand but I'm a little busy."

"None taken." I return his smile.

Bast leans slightly forward practically on top of the counter, "Do you know where I can find Calio?" Im guessing thats the guy that owns the place, seeing as though she doesn't know the other guys name, the one we really want.

"Haven't seen him yet, usually he comes just when this place gets going, by the look of this place he should be here anytime."

The drinks he made for us are set down in front of us, the glass cup is filled with a light blue liquid, I pick up the glass and watch as the color changes to an emerald green color. I turn to see Bast's glass, the liquid turns a bright pink, "Why so nervous Miss Adeline?"

I set the glass down, the color turns back to a light blue, "It changes color to match your mood, cool I guess."

He raises one of his brows at me, "You guess huh, not fascinated by my party trick, I'm shocked, I thought you humans were more easily entertained."

I snort, "Well this human, is not so human, and it's much more willing to beat you with your extra arms if you insult it again."

"Adeline!" Bast shouts, she glares at me as I glare at the freak behind the bar.

Jax doesn't turn to her as he speaks, "Oh don't worry Bastet, I have had worse things said to me, I didn't realize your friend here was a succubus. It's always fun to play with one especially one whose inexperienced."

I ignore him, looking to Bast, "Can we just go look for this guy already?"

"Yeah, sorry Jax." She jumps from the stool, seeing as its practically the length of her.

"None taken kitten," He focuses back on me with a smirk, "Come back soon, I promise to behave next time."

I scoff, leaving the bar and away from the creep behind it, I don't bother scanning the crowd knowing I won't know anyone or thing here.

"He should be here soon, we just have to wait and seeing as though you were so rude back there we have to find somewhere else to sit." She storms away from me like some child with a tantrum and into the crowd of people who dance to the song.

I push forward, my stomach full of butterflies as I pass people and creatures who mingle and grind. I ignore the hands, the claws that graze my exposed skin and I try to ignore the lure of the song.

I escape the mass of bodies, finding Bast with her hands on her hips, "Took you some time, I thought I had to go in there an fetch you."

I'm about to reply when someone steps in first, "Puqab."

I face the man with the snow white hair, it reaches his shoulders cutting off in awkward ankles. His white clouded eyes seem to see right through me as they stare intently at me. He was older maybe in his early thirties, a good looking guy who just stepped out of lord of the rings.

He raises a hand out toward me, "Raaba juax wa." Why does everyone have to speak some odd language?

"I'm sorry but I don't understand you." Even though I'm sure he wanted me to come with him.

"Bastet your friend is as beautiful as you described her." His English is smooth, soft to one's ear, like a sweet caress.

"It is wonderful to see you once again Calio." He is the one who owns this place, the one who wants something from me.

"You must come, I have a place for us to sit, to speak, privately." He walks away not waiting for an answer.

Bast follows him without question so I follow along behind her, its not like I have anywhere else to go.

Calio stops in front of a sheer red curtain, he parts the fabric holding it open for Bast, she enters swiftly. I on the other hand hesitate, the man stares down at me, a ghost of a smile graces his lips before he speaks, "Do not be frightened young one." I bite my lip taking the two steps it leads to reach the curtain, I pass entering the enclosed area. It contains a curved plush couch, the red color matching the curtains, it also has tables with bottles of different colored liquid and other places to sit. It screams privileged.

I sit beside Bast, afraid of sitting anywhere alone.

"Thank you for inviting us Calio, I am sure you are very busy with your club, so I appreciate it. Well we both do."

He sits near me, a seat away from being too close, "I have to admit, curiosity has gotten the best of me."

Bast grins, "What did you need from Adeline, you mentioned something about her doing something for you."

"Yes of course, I simply have never met a succubus and one who is attached to her humanity." He leans forward, reaching towards the table he retrieves a small vial like the one Meeksha gave me. "This my dear is called starlight tea, I want you to take it."

Meeksha however gave me moonlight tea, something that would shield my powers, I had a bad feeling that this one did the opposite. "What if I refuse to take it?"

"Then you will leave, without ever returning, without ever finding the one you seek." He hands me the vial, the liquid is a shimmering yellow color opposite of the pale silver almost blue one I have.

I take the vial from his fingers, avoiding touching him, "What will it do to me?"

Do not take the tea Adeline. I wince, hearing her after so long as made the whole experience worse.

Why not?

I do not know what it will do, it could kill us.

You're just scared it might kill you.

Fine then, take it.

So I do.

The vial crashes to the floor as the contents burn my throat, Bast screams my name as I clutch my chest. I think I'm about to die when it stops leaving nothing but the new sense of being awakened for the first time since I died not a couple of weeks ago.

I look to Calio, but I see him differently, I see him as this white demon with horns and sharp fangs that leave his mouth. His skin is pale and etched with symbols that line every piece of exposed skin. He is far from human.

I back away, "What did you do?"

He stands, I try to back away but my back hits the back of the couch, "I released you." He lifts me from the couch carrying my writhing body as I try to break free of his grasp.

"Let me go." I yell, only it comes out as a growl.

He pushes aside the curtains, lifting me slightly away from him he tosses me to the group of people who are oblivious to what happens around them.

I hit the ground with a loud thud, the ground vibrates underneath me as I try to stand. I breath heavily as the sound of the music grows louder, the sound of the heart beats around me grow faster, I close my eyes letting all the sounds and smells consume me.

What's happening to me?

He...he did something. I can't control anything Adeline. I could barely hear her, as if she wasn't really there.

My eyes open and close several times before everyone becomes nothing but energy, nothing but food.

As if possessed I stand, walking into the crowd of people, wanting them to be with me.

I feel hands graze my sides, my back, my neck, everything and I don't want them to stop. I raise my hands above me swaying with them, I groan softly as someone pulls my hair releasing it from above my head and letting it cascade down my back. All I feel are hands, warm and cold, touching and grabbing, pulling and tugging at me.

I want nothing more than to feed, the craving, the deep hunger is everything to me, everything I need and want.

I drown in the sound and the touch once again, this time I don't feel the need to come back up.

Soft lips touch my ear, grazing it with their breathless sigh, "Wake up my pet."
