~Dear Diary~
~Andrew and Mckayla have some chemistry in class, which I wish I could do better at containing it. Dead frogs are super gross and slimy, and I'd never want to see them, ever again!
I got the worst grade ever, and I hate myself! God, I feel like a dumbass, everyday just seems to prove to me more and more that I'm incompetent and everything I do will fail...
~I can't wait for school to be over...~

I'd never liked science class, I like Ms. Will, she's a great teacher but I don't like science class all that much. Especially when it's time for frog dissection. One of the nastiest things in school, ever!
As Ms. Will handed out the dead frogs on their silver tablet things, she said "You can work with a partner or by yourself, just record your findings and I'll grade you as normal."
Mckayla and Andrew were working at the table in front of me while I was in the back of the class with no tablemate, watching A+M having all the fun while a dead frog was keeping me comfort.
As I was cutting up the frog's stomach, I had to hold back from vomiting all over it. The assignment was that we were supposed to look at the stomach and identify all of the parts of it.
The lungs were underneath the heart, the gallbladder is underneath the liver, stuff like that. To be honest, all this stuff wasn't so hard. What was hard was watching Mckayla and Andrew doing the project, together.
"Hey," Mckayla snickered. "You wanna know what'll happened to the frog that got a paper?"
"God, what?" Andrew chuckled. "What did he do?"
"You know, he rip-it-apart, eh, eh?" Mckayla grinned as Andrew laughed at her. "God, you're a cornball."
"Shut up." Mckayla punched him in the arm playfully, "It takes one to know one, dummy." Andrew rolled his eyes as a smile appeared on his face, God they were so happy together, it was almost sickening to watch. I sighed as I tried to finish up the frog's belly. I hated feeling jealous, It was all so conflicting and draining all at once!
All I could do was watch and feel sick to the core, but as I was too focused on Mckayla and Andrew, I looked at my frog and saw how I cut open its heart by mistake and before I could do anything, Ms. Will told us to clean up and place the frogs on her table before leaving class.
With a heavy heart, I placed the dead frog to be graded when Ms. Will smiled and said "Rosetta, can you see me after class today?" The most dreaded words that could ever come from a teacher's mouth. I nodded my head and walked past Mckayla and Andrew's table, seeing a perfectly dissected frog, not one misplaced cut anywhere, it was just...perfect.
Mckayla and Andrew placed it on the table, Ms. Will nodded her head, after every single student gave their frog back up, Ms., Will gave a look to go outside of the classroom, my stomach was in knots as I walked, I bit my nails as I stood outside, thinking about all the worst situation ever.
"Ms. Hazel." Ms. Will said.
"Yes, Miss?"
"I just want to say, you're not in trouble by any means." Ms. Will assured. "It's just that your frog had a big cut on its heart. It was bleeding a bit.
"Yeah, I know. It's totally my fault."
"Well, it's fine, it's just that for, you'll lose points." Miss Will sighed. "You did finish up your paper, but seeing the mistake on your frog, you'll being a C+"
That's when my whole world came crushing down. "Oh, okay... That's fine, it doesn't matter." It so matters, Miss Will smiled and sighed as she walked back into class while I tried to not feel like a pressure was put on my chest.
I sat back down to my seat; Mckayla turned to me and asked me what grade I got.
"C+, what did you and Andrew get?" I asked, Mckayla smirked. "Just an A, I mean it's no big deal, it's only a matter of time until I managed the A, so don't feel so bad."
I glanced at Andrew, then back at her and just faked a smile. "Yeah, sure."
When the bell rang, Andrew and Mckayla were sure quick to leave the classroom, I packed my bag and left class as well, listening to music on my phone, watching everyone and everything around me.
Around the corner, I saw Mckayla and Andrew listening to music together with Andrew's air pods, while I was in total view, Mckayla smiled and waved at me as I passed by.
Looks like Mckayla managed to get an A, that's fine. I need to make sure she doesn't get my A. Well, I don't think she does...
