~Dear Diary, ~
~In all of those girl-power movie, friends can either make or break you as a person. And since I met Connie's friends today, I need to watch out for any weird behavior and shut it down as fast as I could, can't risk having a Mckayla part two~
~Speaking of Mckayla, her and Andrew seem happy together. Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't know why I was so against the idea of them being together! He's a dickhead and she's a huge cunt! It's a match for hell~

The doors opened as Connie held on to my hand tight, smiling as we rode on the escalators, I guess it's not every day your new acquaintance meets your bffs. It was hard to not feel at least a bit excited, but the big, same thoughts were all "What if they hate me?" "Am I gonna embarrass myself?" "Why the hell did I wear skinny jeans? These are my sizes and I feel like I'm getting pinched."
"So," I started off, "What are your friends like, exactly?"
"Oh, Casiah and Fontana are super sweet!" She replied. "I'm sure you'll like them! They're really cool!"
"Good, now the real question if it's mutual. ~" I thought as Connie kept dragging me along to the food court, we sat down in the booth seats where I saw Mckayla and Andrew from the corner from my eyes, they were turning their heads over, so I pulled out my phone to avoid any "smug" looks.
An alert went off on Connie's phone and as she looked up, she smiled. "Oh my god, there, Casiah's here!"
I looked up from my phone to see a girl that could pass as a model in black juicy couture pants, a purple hoodie and with braided pigtails. As she was drinking her smoothie, she looked up from her phone and smiled. "Hey Connie!"
Connie squealed and jumped out of her seat as she rushed over and gave her a huge hug. "Hi! I'm so happy to see you."
"Don't mention it, it's nice to be out." the girl smiled sweetly and patted Connie on the head, she looked up at me. "And this is...?"
"Huh? Oh, right, right. Okay." Connie cleared her throat. "Casiah, this is Rosetta. Rosetta, this is Casiah."
"Ah, so you're the Rosetta Connie keeps telling me about. Thanks for helping her out, it's pretty cool of you." Casiah gave me a nod. I smiled nervously and shrugged. "Oh... well, it's no big deal."
"Oh, I love your outfit by the way, the shirt's super cute." Casiah grinned, I smiled back and tried my best to not feel weird, she had to be one of the coolest people that I'd ever met in my life! Making sure that I don't act like a dummy was extremely important.
Connie was about to say something else, but that wasn't until everyone heard "Oh come on!"
We all whipped our heads around to see a smaller girl with red sneakers on the phone with someone and she looked pissed. "Oh! So, I'm the one who made you flirt with my sister? I'm the one! Ha, well I'm the one dumping you, bye!" She snarled and hung up the phone, she sat down in the seat next to me, cursing underneath her breath.
It was quiet for about ten seconds when Connie said "Huh, and Rosetta? This is Fontana." She giggled nervously. "Who's not in a good mode right now. "
"Let me guess, Rodney flirted with your sister?" Casiah asked, eating a few fries.
"Yes..." Fontana gritted her teeth, Connie sighed. "I'm sorry, Fontana. That has to suck."
"Psh, it's whateves. His loss anyway." Fontana rolled her eyes; she looked over to me and raised an eyebrow. "Who are you?"
"Uh, hi? I'm Rosetta. Connie invited me here to meet you and Casiah." I said, Fontana gave a glance to Casiah, who glances to each other in turn, then Fontana shrugged and smiled at me. "What's up?"
"Nothing much. Sorry about your ex checking out your sister, I know what it's like to get played by a jerk." I remarked.
"Yeah, guys like Rodeny suck, right?" Fontana exclaimed! "The day I see him outside, I'm gonna pop him like a ballon."
"Yeah, yeah. Right after you get with his brother?" Casiah joked; Fontana smirked. "Maybe."
I giggled and then a good icebreaker popped into my head. "If you don't mind me asking. How did you guys meet?" I asked.
"Nah, girl, I'm way ahead on you with that." Fontana smirked and leaned back. "It was back in elementary school, and I was totally killing it on the slides, I was the first person to had ever go down the slide in 3 minutes and 2 seconds! It was one of the coolest moments of my life."
"Wasn't for me, you slide down so fast, you knocked into me." Casiah pointed out. "And almost broke my sunglasses."
Fontana chuckled nervously. "Oh, right... Look, I paid you back, come on!"
"If by "pay", you mean a juice box and a half slice sandwich, then yeah." Casiah rolled her eyes as Connie giggled.
"Okay, then after that, I was there, telling Fontana how cool the whole playground thing she did was so cool! And after some time and Casiah learning how to not hold a grudge for long, we became the best friends you see us as."
"Wow, that's sweet." I smiled. We all got to talking about other stuff, like fashion and latest trends, it was nice to be in a group where I didn't need to put up a front or act like some "tough chick" to belong, it was a fresh breath of air that I'd haven't had in so long!
As we all kept talking with each other, I felt someone's cold, icy stare from across the room and of course, it was none other than Mckayla, the devil herself.
If looks could kill, I'd be dead right now, I don't know what her problem was, but I could only guess it's something around me being happy without her, because how I dare, I live my only life or whatever.
If she wants to be sour because I'm happier, she's gonna have it for longer, I'm tired of being miserable while she's out there, shining. I'm done with it!
