~Dear Diary,~
~It's only been 1 day, 10 hours, 3 minutes and 55 seconds since I'd been cheated on, and Andrew has no problems moving quickly. He'd already deleted all of the pictures with me in them and pinned the ones with McKayla. I should have known better, I wish I had known better, I'm an idiot...~

Pic after pic, Andrew showed off McKayla like a trophy he won, and by all the comments people left, they were the new "it" couple.
I watched blankly as Andrew uploaded ever pic, and trying my best to close the tab, but every pic moved my cursor away, again, again and again.
Andrew's sweet smile only stabs me with cruel bitterness. I suppose it make sense why he choose McKayla over me, she's cool and I'm not. End of story.
I slammed my computer shut in frustration and threw a pillow on the ground. It wasn't fair, I know it wasn't, but that still didn't matter because I was the loser in this. A big fat, loser!
I laid down on my bed, staring at the ceiling, how could it be possible that my whole entire life ends up in shambles by one tick of father time?
A few days before I was on top of the world, nothing could stop me! But now? My self -esteem was lower than hell itself.
Even though it killed me inside, Mckayla gets a 10/10 on the "perfect" girlfriend scale, so I hope getting with Andrew was worth totally destroying our friendship over, but I'm sure it doesn't matter. Well, that's what I've been telling myself lately.
Maybe I shouldn't be so shocked that everything can be in disarray so fast, If the Roman empire can be destroyed by a single wooden horse, what makes me safe from disaster? I sighed again, I picked up my headphones and found the saddest song I could find while scrolling through Instagram, envying all of the cute pics of every single couple ever.
It still isn't fair, and it won't ever be fair. Hours passed by and mom opened the door. "Sweetie? It's time for dinner, come down."
"I'm not that hungry."
"Sweetie, please... Just come down." Mom pleaded. "We made your favorite, pasta and meatballs. Just come, please." Mom smiled, I sighed and put on my slippers. "Okay." Mom smiled and went downstairs as I followed her and closed my door behind her.
Dinner felt tense, like, way too tense. Everyone looked at me like a monster experiment gone wrong, even the maids gave me weird looks as well. I kept my head down and tried to eat my food as fast I could, the quicker I'm out of here, the quicker I could get to my room.
"So, honey, what's wrong? You'd been in holed up in your room all day," Mom mentioned as she drank her wine. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, it's just stuff." I muttered as I put more food into my mouth, if my lips were filled, I couldn't answer any questions that Mom had to ask, but the way she narrowed her eyes and observed my entire face, I need a different plan.
"Well, I heard from Mckayla's father that the two of you got into a disagreement yesterday, what was it about?" Mom asked. "I hope it wasn't anything too serious."
I wish, I wish we were just fighting about something dumb, like who won the most points at a video game, or what song from the Stoners is the best one? But it can't be that it will never be that again.
"No, actually. We did disagree. I wanted Andrew to keep dating me, she wanted Andrew all to herself." Layla spat her drink and coughed while Dakota looked at me and mom a couple of times as Mom's eyebrows shot right up.
"Excuse me?" Mom asked, her tone was rising up very quickly. "What?" Seeing that there was no point in hiding the truth, I told them the whole thing.
"So, Andrew's now dating Mckayla and I broke up with him." I spoke. Everyone got really quiet and looked at mom, she gave out a deep breath and grabbed her phone, stood up from the table and said, "I'll be right back."
She smiled and kissed me, Layla and Dakota on the head before walking up the stairs and closing the door as Dakota laughed. "Oh, whoever's on that line is fucked."
Layla smirked and nodded. "Yep. They're so screwed."
"Mom's gonna eat them alive." I shrugged, we all nodded our heads and finished up our food, I cleaned up my plate and locked myself in my room again, just to scroll on Instagram all over again when I still managed to see pics of Mckayla and Andrew again, their smiles mock me.
And just as I was about to stalk Andrew's account again, Mom opened the door, frames a few pieces of her hair before turing on the light. "Hey."
"Hey."
Mom goes and sits on the bed with me and sighs. "So, I called Mckayla's parents, let's just say some bridges have been burned." She chuckles and looks at my phone. "What were you doing?"
"Watching Andrew and Mckayla have a better life without me while I wallow in pity." I admitted. "I know it's not good, but I can't help it."
"You're right, it's not good, not at all." Mom sighed. "Look, I may not understand everything that goes on in that big brain of yours, but I do know that you're an incredibly clever girl with an even bigger heart, and I know you'll get the things you deserve. I promise." She put her hand on my shoulder and smiled, it was like a warm, cuddly bonfire sort of smile. I smiled back. "Thank you."
"No problem, baby." Mom nodded, she got up from my bed, left my room and closed the door. The sweet words that mom said put a smile on my face as I quickly grabbed my computer, pulled up Instagram and went to Andrew's account, I clicked on the block option and clicked yes, it was hard and extremely scary, but I knew I had to do it.
It seems like I'll be friendless for a while, but that's okay, I'll fine, I'm sure of it.
