~Dear Diary, ~

~Whipped up a ton of sweet treats for me and Andrew for our movie night tomorrow night! I can't wait! I'll impress him with my fabulous cooking skills! A bit worried about some stuff that mom said, but I'm sure it's fine! Well, I'm guessing anyway.

The kitchen is one of my favorite places, whipping up sweet cupcakes and other things was one of the greatest things ever! And knowing that me and Andrew will be chowing down on some sweets, watching movies together and cuddling was enough to make me smile! I put hard work into my cupcakes, I mean, I have been baking ever since I was 4, and the practice didn't go unnoticed that's for sure. 

I was loading up a fresh batch of cupcakes when I saw mom walking down the stairs, yawning in her night dress. 

"Mm, hi honey. What are you doing?" She asked. 

"Making cupcakes for Andrew!" I squealed. "He's going to come over tomorrow and I can't wait for it, we're gonna watch a movie and hang out, the usual stuff!" 

"Oh, that's nice..." Mom nodded, she poured herself a cup of coffee and rubbed her head. "I hope everything's going fine with you two." 

"Yeah, of course they are. Why wouldn't they be?" 

Mom sighed and placed her coffee down, a good sigh that things were about to get a bit serious. "Well, it's just that honey, He doesn't really show up often. Like, when was the last time he came over?" 

"Mom, he comes over here all the time!" 

"Him walking you home doesn't count, baby." Mom shot back, I sighed and shrugged. "Okay, I know he doesn't come over too often, but he's a great guy! He really cares about me and the reason why he doesn't here too often is that he's usually really busy with stuff. It's no problem." 

Mom gave me her classic "Honey, really?" look whenever someone says something that doesn't make a lick of sense to anyone, but she nodded her head. "Alright, I'll take your word for it, sweetie. Just be careful, that's all I want." 

"Yes, yes I will!" I nodded. "And don't worry mom, I'll make sure to save some sweets and treats for everyone else, I promise!" I smiled.

Mom chuckled and finished up the rest of her coffee, kissed me on the forehead and walked upstairs. "Thank you, if you need anything, I'll be upstairs." Mom climbed up the stairs and closed her bedroom door, leaving me to all of my baking desires. 

And as I was baking, Andrew called me. 

"Hello?" 

"Uh, hey babe. It's me." Andrew said, "So, what's up with you?" 

"Nothing~ I'm just baking up some stuff to eat for our date tomorrow! I can't wait for it!" 

"Oh yeah, that. I can't wait, it's gonna be awesome!" He spoke. "So, what's the plan?" 

"Oh, it's pretty simple, and I planned it accordingly! You'll come in, we'll watch a movie, play some video games, then eat all the snacks! I even made your favorite cupcake flavor; Chocolate and Peanut butter!" 

"Oh, cool. That's nice. Can't wait. Anything else gonna happened?" 

"Uh, not really. It'll just be us together, so you better clear out your day! Unless you want to, of course." I chuckled nervously. 

"Uh, yeah. Well, it sounds cool. I'll see you soon baby, I love you." 

"Love you too!" I smiled and hung up the phone, then proceeded to make pink frosting with red hearts on top of his cupcakes, I called it "Blush Frosting." It's not one of my best names ever, but it gets the job done. 

Tomorrow is going to be the best day ever! I can't wait!
