Anna's POV

"Better?"

I was breathless after I opened my eyes

"Yes...Thank you"

He's gonna be the death of me.
His eyes makes me feel like I'm drowning, his smile makes me feel like I'm para jumping without a parachute and the way he looks at me...makes me feel like I've been knocked out; dead.

So you can see why he'll be the death of me.

"Anna?" He whispered my name

"Hmm" was all I could get out of my mouth

"I'd really love to take you out"

"I-I don't think..."

"For once stop thinking. Just take a risk" he interrupted "I cancelled all my afternoon appointments to take you out. I took a risk even though I wasn't sure you were gonna say yes"

A moment passed.

I sighed "Okay"

He smiled at me and I smiled back.

He wore his jacket and took his phone.
"Lets go" he held my hand as we made our way out of his office.

We reached his office door when a man in suit barged in. He was tall like Matt, his hair was brown and tosseled unlike Matt's. His face was also well chiseled. He looked hot, but not as hot as Mr. Hot.

"Nick" Matt said

"Claire just called my assistant. She said you cancelled all your appointments and meetings"

"Yeah"

"That's unlike you Matt" the guy said

"I have something important to do"

"What has become more important than work?"

"Nick, meet Anna. Anna meet Nick, my friend and partner"

That was when the ignorant oblivious asshole looked my way.

"Hi" he said and looked back at Matt "So what has become more important than work?"

"This girl right here" I heard him say

I looked at Matt. Who looked at me like he really cared.

Matt's POV

She looked at me. And at that moment I knew I would never let her go, ever. I cared a lot about her and I've never cared for anyone as much as I care about her right now.

I would never let go of her. I don't want to loose her. She's mine and only mine. No one else's.

"So you're going out with her?" I heard Nick say

I looked at him and if looks could kill, he'd be dead.
"Her name's Anna"

"Right. So you're going out with Anna and ditching work?"

"Pretty much. Work can wait"

"And Anna can't?"

"No she can't"

He scoffed.

"Do you have a problem you'd like me to know about?"

"No" he said

"Then if everything's fine, you can move away"

Nick moved away from the door as I drew Anna out of my office.
We got into the elevator and went to the basement.

When we reached the basement. We got to my car. I opened the door for her, she got in. I went round to get into the driver's seat. As I started the engine she asked

"Where are we going?"

I looked at her and smiled "It's a surprise"

"Okay"

We finally reached. I hope she'll love it.
"We're here" I said

I got out and opened the door for her. I held her hands as we walked to the entrance. It was quiet at first but immediately we got throughout the door it was so noisy.

I looked at her to see her expression and it was not good. She didn't like it.

Damn.

Anna's POV

I was speechless as we entered the gates.

He brought me to a carnival.

When he said he wanted to take me out, this never crossed my mind as one of the places he'd ever bring me. He never stopped surprising me.

"If you don't like it we could go somewhere else" he said

"I love it" I looked at him smiling

"You do?" He looked surprised.

"Of course I do"

He smiled

"C'mon let's go check it out" I pulled him further inside

We went to every store, we played every game. He won me a blue and pink teddy bear. We had so much fun.

"Wanna see something great?" He asked me a few hours later

"You know I do" I was smiling

He smiled "Come"

I followed him. We got to something that looked like a tall building and a tree house. It was a tall tree house inform of a building or anyway you wanna put it.

"I know you're afraid of heights but we have to climb up"

I sighed "Is it gonna be worth it?"
He smiled "I promise"

That was all it took. I went up the stairs of the tree house. Block stairs not wooden. A few seconds later we reached the top together and I made a mistake of looking down.

I breathed in. He held my hand
"Don't look down, look at me"

I looked at him and I forgot everything.
"Come see" he pulled me around the tree house, more like building. Then we got to a spot and he stopped, smiling at me.

Then he pointed at something in a distance "See"

I looked at what he pointed at and my word.

It was a live concert happening on the other side of the carnival. The song sounded familiar but I couldn't see who it was. They got to the chorus and I knew the song and the artiste.

Kiss Me Slowly by Parachute.

I looked back at Matt with a huge smile on my face.

"A concert"

He nodded "Wasn't sure you were gonna like the performers"

"I love Parachute. Their songs are amazing"

"I know right"

"You like them too?"

"Yea" he smiled

A moment passed as we stared at each other.
"Thank you"

He became serious. He leaned closer as he put his fingers in my hair.

This was it, he was gonna try to kiss me for the second time today.
I wanted him so bad back in his office and now, I want him more.

I looked into his eyes and swallowed hard. He looked at my lips and back into my eyes. His second hand was now behind the small of my back pulling me a little closer to him. Our faces was now really close. On an impulse I closed my eyes and felt soft lips on mine. I parted mine a little and that was all it took for him to get all the access we both needed.

His kiss was soft and gentle at first then it rapidly became hot and demanding. I moaned when our tongues touched. He groaned and pulled me tighter to him as he pushed his tongue deeper into my mouth. We were soo close, it felt like we were made this way. His hand surveyed my back and the other pulled my face closer to his for him to get more access. Which I didn't think was possible cause we were kissing so hard there was no space left. His kiss was making me hot and I wanted more but I didn't know what more was.

I'd never kissed anyone like this. Just to put it plain and simple. I'd never kissed anyone. Yeah I'd dated a lot of guys but they never made me feel the way I wanted to feel with a guy, the way I felt around Matt.

I could hear Parachute sing Kiss Me Slowly in the background.

My legs were turning to Jell-O, I quickly placed my hands on his shoulder for support. Slowly and gently he stopped the kiss and I opened my eyes after ten fast heart beats.
He looked at me with tenderness. I looked at his lips and licked mine.

"Don't do that" he whispered

"Do what?" I looked in his eyes

"Look at my lips and lick yours. It drives me crazy"

"Oh"

"You drive me mad every time" he pushed my hair away from my face "I have to ask you something"

"What?"

"I know we just met and all, and this is just our second date but I can't wait anymore, I need to know"

"What?"

"Would you...be my girlfriend?" He said slowly

I smiled
"Matthias O'Connell is asking me to be his girlfriend and not ordering me to be"

He looked away. I reached up to touch his face and face him back to me.
"Who am I to say no"

He smiled and crushed his lips on mine. Heat and Passion all wrapped in one. A perfect delivery order.

He pulled away.
"Lets go"

I smiled and held his hand really tight cause of the stairs I had to face.

Matt's POV

I dropped her off at Kat's and went back to work. As I got into my office I saw Nick standing there.

"Nick? What are you doing here?" I went inside and removed my jacket and set it on my seat's back rest.

"Came to talk to you about little Miss Anna Vaughn"

I looked at him in fury
"Don't you dare call her that"

"Fine but you know she's just like every other women you've been with. What I don't get is why you're treating her differently from the rest"

"Cause she's different from the rest" I sat

"No she's not. She just wants your money and the fame just like the rest"

"Don't you dare say that about her" I got up slamming my table "Either you like her, or you hate me"

He was angry as he made his way out of my office.

Anna was different from the rest. She didn't look like someone who would be with me for money or for the fame. She didn't even look like someone who loved the idea of fame and when I offered to pay her mum's bills. She refused but I still did anyway.

Yea, she was different. My girlfriend was different from all the other girls.

The idea of calling her my girlfriend made me happy inside. I was gonna start calling her that.

We made plans for tonight.

This time there will be no defences, no barriers, no bad tension and no cautious conversation.

Last time we had dinner. She was cautious about everything that left her lips but this time she'll be free. She'll open up more. No more secrets.

But she was gonna kill me if she found out about her mum.

God save me.

I thought about the carnival and the kiss. God she could make me go wild just by looking at my lips and licking hers. There were things I wanted to do to her in bed. Unimaginable things.

Her lips looked like they had been ravished well. When she moaned I had to do everything I could to control myself. The way she gripped my shoulders made me think of how she'd grip them when we made love, 'if' we made love. She was a natural at kissing, if she hadn't kissed anyone before.

The thought of her kissing another man sickened me. The thought of her being with another man drove me crazy.
