I gasped out in shock when suddenly I felt a sharp point of something nipping my neck causing a slight pain to run through my veins.

" Who are you?", I asked stupidly hoping that it was not the prince, or I would be in deep trouble with the school and or the rest of the royal family.

" You know who I am darling, come on say it", he growled from behind me making my body start to shake in complete fear.

" Prince Xanthous, the 1st", I said not wanting to make him angry and give him the chance to unleash his powers on me.

He smirked against the back of my neck. " Good girl".

" What do you want?", I asked him still shaking in fear.

" A lot of things...but for now just a drink of your blood", he told me almost making me stop breathing from shock and fear.

" No", I told him in a stern voice, making sure he got the memo that I wanted him to back off and leave me alone.

" And who are you to defy my command?", he asked me with a slight edge of anger in it.

I was just about to answer him, when I felt his hands grip my hips bringing me impossibly closer to him.

" Hmm, that's what I thought", he muttered from behind me before appearing out of thin air right in front of me.

I let out a small scream, as I lost my balance and rolled down the hill, even deeper into the forest than I already was.

The air was knocked out of my lungs as soon as my back came in contact with the forest floor.

Xanthous walked slowly towards me as if not trying to scare me more than he already has.

He laid down right next to me before shoving his face into the crook of my neck running his tongue across my neck making an x.

" Relax", he whispered when I felt the point of his fangs putting slight pressure on my neck. He let out a sigh as I remained tense making it harder for him to find the pulse on my neck.

" Let's try again tomorrow, shall we?", he stated before getting up and vanishing through thin air.
